This and Nintendo Land are my two favorite games so far, cant put down either!
Great numbers, very happy with the direction 343i took the franchise. Cant wait for the rest of The Reclaimer Trilogy.
So far so good with my Wii U, the only issue with setting up the online was that I had to enter everything manually to get it to work right, the auto detect option didn't work. Loving it so far!
If you can only get one, buy Halo 4, it has far superior online and a longer/better campaign.
If you have the money, buy both, both games will have long lasting online communities and buying both helps the industry, I get tired of seeing things about poor game sales. I like it when games sell better than any other entertainment medium and people take notice.

Doesn't surprise me one bit, I saw over a million concurrent users on Halo 4 last week and I saw over a million concurrent users on BO2 yesterday. It looks as if all the Halo vs COD stuff was pointless, Halo 4 was the best selling Halo ever and BO2 was the best selling COD ever, on their first days respectively anyway.
For the people who were with them for 10 years, they are getting an Xbox 360 console. There are deals and free games for everyone else.

Congrats to Xbox Live, Microsoft and its users. Xbox Live also wouldn't have been possible without Sega, which is where Microsoft got the idea and helped implement it into the Dreamcast. Sega's original thought was that consumers would want to play online against each other, and that would trump people's want of the PS2, but it turns out online gaming wasn't quite where it needed to be.

More incentive for people to try Halo 4, if you've not been able to get into the series before, I'd suggest trying it with Halo 4, there is a ton of back catalog games to play through as well. Some of these prices are too good to pass up in my opinion.
Isn't XBL Gold already a plus? Its considered a premium online service, where as PSN+ is just the games that Sony lets you play while you are paying into that service.

I think Halo 4 is a marvel for sure, Bungie created the franchise and will never be forgotten because of that, but I agree that 343i has done the best Halo game with Halo 4.
It also cant be lost that at least a few employees at 343i are former Bungie, and the rest of 343i is made up of an all star team of developers. Microsoft spared no expense with the future of Halo and it shows.
True Halo 4 made a ton of money, even though that record will probably be broken by Black Ops 2 multi-console launch. Microsoft did spend 300 million in making the game, so while it will recoup all of its money, it hasn't technically made any money for Microsoft yet.
Still, it shows that Microsoft was justified in going with 343i, they have put out (in my opinion) the best Halo game of all time.
I don't believe the original XBL service was $50 a year. I also find it hard to believe that many informed and internet capable XBL users pay the full price now. You can always get a deal just by checking around a bit. I've never paid more than $35 for a year, and often times I've gotten a free game or MS Points when I get those deals.

When user reviews go in one second after Metacritic allows, and you see a bunch of 1 scores, you know its full of jealous haters with too much time on their hands. If I disliked something enough to write up a fake review about it, I could think of better things to do with that time.
When you see user scores of 1, that to me is clearly mad fanboys. A 1 score would scream that a game was broken completely. I cant think of many games that I'd score a 1, aside from Superman 6...
I still bought this game with my Wii U, its getting really mixed reviews, but I wanted something original to go with my New Super Mario Bro's U and some of the other games I bought. Its at least worth a try, seems opinions are mixed at best, which gives me hope.
