We have background checks here as well, every single state, and most states have assault rifle bans and clip size limits. In our Constitution we are granted the right to bear arms and I don't like people trying to change that.
It's fear mongering, and lets face it, America has become more and more socialist over the years. The same thing happened after 9/11. People always want something to blame, and kids really hit home.
Fear of kids dying from guns will have a lot of people agreeing to outlaw guns altogether. It furthers an agenda by a liberal president, who today bypassed our whole system put into place by this countries forefathers.
People have been killing other people lo...
We haven't played it yet, I do remember people saying the Telltale version wouldn't be good. Good thing I have Gamefly and if I really enjoy it I'll buy it.
@Sonic200
Microsoft does things differently than Sony, people just have to deal with that fact. They have been working on next gen titles since 2010 (Obviously).
It has probably been cheaper to get timed DLC and demos ect...
Also, how many people buy early maps on COD games for Xbox 360? Or bought Skyrim to get that content? I think its paid off.
New IPs haven't exactly lit it up for any console late this generation.
Well they should have been out there for a while now. It'd be like saying Nintendo put out the Gamepad late for developers. I'm sure Sony has their newer Move out for developers by now as well.
Everyone is just going to have to accept the fact that all three companies are going to offer something that core gamers might not use or like, but as a simple option, it wont affect anything.
Well my reply to that would be that people pay XBL Gold Membership fees, those fees obviously have gone towards Microsoft getting timed content on a lot of great games.
Yet people complain that XBL Gold isn't worth it, then turn around and complain when those paying gold members get things like this, early demos, timed DLC ect...
As far as I'm concerned at least others will get it eventually.
The first Mass Effect Collectors Edition for Xbox 360 goes for over $100 regularly. Then there are some like the Killzone 3 Collectors Edition which I got new for $35 from Sony's site directly.
That Metroid Prime Trilogy is tough as heck to find at a decent price.
Dragons Dogma and Dark Siders 2 are the only games on there even worth mentioning in my opinion. I believe those two games sold well over a million apiece though.
Well it looks like they were between a rock and a hard place, release it in the middle of all those other hyped AAA titles, or release it after the next gen offerings from Microsoft and Sony have been announced.
August will still be a few months away from the release of those consoles, but games released that close to new consoles usually underperformed.
I probably wont be buying any current gen games that late in the year.
Are you privy to what the PS4 is launching with? If you look back, Sony has never had what I'd consider a stellar launch lineup. You could say it's a bit of a mistake to keep so many developers working with current hardware when you are about to launch new hardware.
People will want games right away.
Blacktust is going to be the next Bungie for Microsoft, I fully expect there new core title to be next generations Gears Of War. Microsoft will be giving its fans new Halo, Gears and Blacktusk's games and I for one cannot wait.
@2v1
Of course not! It only came out in November of 2012. I play Halo 4, BO2, Gears 3, Forza Horizon, Minecraft and Battlefield 3 online for the most part right now.
@slimpickens
Just look at games that aren't the top sellers for Microsoft. Games I've enjoyed like Ninety Nine Nights, Ninja Blade, Viva Pinata, Lost Odyssey and even Crackdown. All of those games I enjoyed quite a bit, but none of them had stellar sales.
Each console ge...
I own a surprisingly large amount of those games...Most are really amazing, XBLA has really come a long, long way.
I am actually impressed with the demo thus far. I thought I wouldn't like the game as much as the past two games, but I've enjoyed it very much. It's really on my radar now.
I agree 100%, I honestly don't play very many open world games. Where as my favorite games like Gears Of War, Halo, Uncharted, God Of War and Alan Wake are all linear and fun as hell.
I think people just like to complain, we've seen that more and more this generation.
Sweet! Bet this is that Star Wars XBLA game that we heard about a while ago. I think Microsoft has taken to XBLA to really fill in the gap while their developers work on next gen games.
This is something that couldn't be done in previous generations. It means that we should see a very strong launch lineup.
It'll probably take a couple of years to see significant change. I mean if you go and play Saints Row on the Xbox 360 and then Saints Row 3, you'll know exactly what I mean.
I think devs have been preparing us all for this for a while now. I'd be more than happy with 60fps, native 1080 and none of that pop-in, draw-in ect.... I don't think it would take too much tech to accomplish that.
Really looking forward to seeing what they have up their...
They hate the core audience but spend hundreds of millions of dollars making Halo 4?
I will never understand why certain groups of people hate the fact that Microsoft continuously releases the AAA titles that drew people to the platform in the first place.
I think people here wouldn't be happy unless Microsoft was releases niche titles that nobody buys. As someone who bought a 360 at launch specifically to get Gears Of War, I've been more than happy...
I think it would be a smart move which would potentially save Microsoft and consumers money if they didn't include Blu Ray play back with the next Xbox.
Keep in mind they should offer the kit like they did with the original Xbox to play DVD's back. Not everyone will want another Blu Ray player, and if you do it'll probably only cost $15, so it's really a non issue and not something I'm worried about.
Honestly I own a PS3 and a stand alon...
Well I will probably rent it, I haven't really paid much attention to the videos at this point though.
I will probably check out some reviews as well, but I wont bash it right now. That is the only point I was trying to make, if you think something is bad or something will suck before going into it, you'll probably find reasons to hate it.
