People complain that Microsoft doesn't work on new IP's, then they complain about the type of new IP's they do work on. Once again I say that this generation will only be remembered for complainers that are never happy.

There are tons of different genres this generation, if you didn't find what you like, you obviously didn't look hard enough.

Also, they said they want to make their "Halo or Gears", it doesn't mean its a sci...

Since when have gamers cared so much about tech? Just a generation ago all I ever heard was how the PS2 was great because it had amazing games, a low price point and it appealed to all types of gamers.

Nintendo has never been known for breaking the boundaries of technology, hell the NES survived against the Sega Genesis for over two years before Nintendo answered with the SNES. They didn't even bother to put out a 32 bit console because that console did so well.

This generation has set a new low for complaining, complaining about a game before it has even released......brilliant.

This has been one of, if not THE best gaming generation to date, but all people do is complain, argue, complain and act like idiot fanboys. Its straight up giving one of the best generations of all time a terrible reputation.

Stop complaining about everything!

All the launched first stuff is pretty bogus anyway, the more important thing with console launches are price and launch titles.

Xbox 360 launched first and was still beaten badly by the Wii, the Wii appealed to a wider audience and had a cheaper price point. I would expect multiple SKU's from Microsoft and probably even a subsidized Xbox Next, which would allow people of every different type of income to buy one.

I think we'll see a pretty even nex...

I come from a day and age of video games where the endings were a dream, like Mario 2, or a misspelled text ending like Ghost Busters. I was just thankful to be able to have an amazing hobby like playing video games.

I'm still as thankful as ever, I never feel like I'm owed something. Movies often leave ending up to interpretation as well, I thought it was clear, the expanded ending further confirmed my thoughts.

As for the complainers, just take a lo...

I didn't realize people stopped caring about the game? I loved the series and even though part 3 had some controversy, the entire game was a masterpiece, I originally thought you were indoctrinated and that is why it ended the way it did.

I'll buy into another Mass Effect game for sure, I'm not one of the gamers that complains about every little thing this generation. Those are the true reasons this generation hasn't been that great, the games have been wonde...

Didn't they just release the most anticipated exclusive of the year in Halo 4?

Come to think of it, out of 20 studios I can only think of one that actually made a Kinect game this year, which was Lionhead and Fable The Journey.

Anything else was second or third party. It almost makes you think those crazy guys at Microsoft are up to working on next gen games or something huh?

On topic a bit, Cliffy B has been traveling the world with his ...

You are 100% right, that was all off topic.

Seems like you handled that tough situation in the right manner, there are other options to using those features and people should do research before they make a purchase. Game consoles are sort of an investment, and gaming is looked at as a hobby now days, hobby's come at a cost and people should be expected to understand fully what is involved with that hobby.

That being said, there are 70+ million Xbox 360 un...

Those are really impressive numbers when you consider the Xbox 360 turns 7 years old this holiday season.

I saw an interesting article about it.

"Three-month subscription sales for network during Nov. 18 to Nov. 23 nearly doubled last year's sales."

The increase was in...

I'll probably stick with my Xbox 360 for multiplatform titles, they seem to run better on that console, and the whole Achievement issue, I prefer to get them for putting in a lot of time with games. Hopefully Nintendo patches in some sort of Achievement system in the future.

I don't blame Nintendo for putting this out, they really want to hit that 100 million mark and this is a formula that has worked for them in the past.

I think Sony released a PSP that lacked online ability right before the Vita launched. So its a decent enough idea and the $99 price point will appeal to a lot of people. Honestly, the Wii doesn't have patches, I've never used the online on my Wii anyway. I was never big into the Virtual Console or Arcade deals they...

Why are you stalking me? Its obvious you hate Microsoft, you sent me messaging with a bogus XBL account, you keep following my comments around and calling me by names that I'm not.

I'm ashamed to admit I'm a Cowboys fan, they are and always will be America's team. Now do me a favor and stop messaging me, stop stalking me, and stop bothering me with your trolling.

Thank you, have a great day.

They really want to compete with Apple TV, this doesn't really have anything to do with the Xbox 360 or next Xbox though, I mean the Windows Phone also has access to Xbox Live games.

This is just Microsoft branching out and trying to road block Apple a bit, which is always a good thing.

I always get a kick from these articles, there are other options if you feel like you cant afford the money for Xbox Live. Go with a PC, PS3 or the Wii U. The fact that Xbox Live continuously grows and earns so much each year, tells me that its a service people seem to enjoy.

There is actually a lot of value in what you get on Xbox Live, including the much maligned early DLC,demo's and timed content. There are also numerous deals if you are hard up for cash, but in my op...

Well I haven't played Black Ops 2 on Wii U yet, but after playing through both versions of Assassins Creed 3, I have to admit the Wii U version looked and ran better. There wasn't all the pop in and draw distance that was evident with the PS3/360 versions.

I'd advise to keep checking back, they have re-stocked some of them a few times. Forza Horizon sold out a few times and they put it back up. I have been recommending that and a few other games on this list to a lot of people.

My team and myself usually report the really offensive ones, but we mostly only come across poorly made South Park ones.

I think the launch games for the Wii U are a huge leap for Nintendo, and I don't believe the difference with be AS big between Nintendo, Microsoft and Sony next generation. We've heard a lot about a "quantum leap", which is actually the smallest leap there can be.

I'm more than happy with current hardware, though I see the need for new hardware to jump-start a stagnant industry, but I'll be happy with 1080p and 60fps, I'm actually not expecting ...
