Your guess would be wrong.
UK first week boxed sales favored PS5 version more than 80-20:

First month sales in Europe overall (physical and digital) favored PS5 about 70-30:

Exactly. But yet whenever anyone posts the UK boxed game sales charts, a certain individual is always quick to cite that 90% stat to say that the chart doesn't matter because it doesn't include digital sales. Whether this person doesn't understand the way that stat was calculated and the reason it can't be applied to console games released physically and digitally on the same date, or whether he understands and is just trolling is anyone's guess....
I don't think people have an issue with "fun" stats when there are real sales numbers as well.
Lol these numbers might somehow be invalid because people in the UK primarily buy games digitally now.
It will be interesting to see if it can hold that against Spider-Man 2.
God of War 2018 took a little over a year to hit 10 million, so this one is selling much faster.

Yeah it's a shame they are getting rid of it but not a huge surprise in light of the other changes to PS Plus. Still, people have had over two years to take advantage, and still have 3 months to do so.
Lol can't wait for all the consternation May 10 from people who didn't add the PS Plus Collection titles to their libraries despite over two years to do so.
I hate always online for SP in principle, but I do think 99%+ of the people who complain about it would never notice the requirement if publishers never said anything, because they are always connected anyway.
Unfortunately most of the game critics/journalists still at larger old sites (IGN, Gamespot, Polygon, Kotaku) seem to fall into two categories: those who really just want to be at a "real" news/culture site like Huffpost, Vice, or Vox, but couldn't get the position, and those who are into gaming but only care about one or two (usually live service) games. Arguably the latter is better because at least they kind of care about games, but if you are really just super into the minut...
I'm waiting for Orchard to explain why the PS5 version is still bad even after this update.
Yep. There's a big difference between someone who actually swears naturally in relevant places as a part of the way they talk and someone who sounds like a 15-year-old who just saw The Departed for the first time last week and decided to try to make it his entire personality. Ravens52 is clearly the latter.

"They don't need to market this game , they don't need to market Spiderman at all, Spiderman is the number 1 selling superhero,"
So, did Spiderman: Web of Shadows, Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions, and Spiderman: Edge of Time sell as well as Insomniac's 2018 Spider-Man?
Yeah this guy was trying to argue there's no such thing as immature excessive swearing but instead he just provided a perfect example of it. Like if you are going to do it, learn to do it effectively.
Eh since this is Square there will be a group that loves it, and every few years we'll get the "Actually Forspoken was pretty good" articles.
"It's the forced use of them. It's like having to hang out with a bunch of 14-16 year old kids. It's fine at first but you start getting annoyed at the "trying to sound cool" behavior very quickly."
This exactly. This is why I dread anytime a show gets moved from airing on television to being streaming only. I instantly know all the characters are going to start sounding like 7th grade boys in the locker room of a middle school junior varsity...
Arkane is a perfect example that proves people don't actually buy the games they say they want. People constantly whine about everything being a live service, a sequel, or a remake, but when Arkane puts out excellent SP-focused new IP, people say "meh" and go back to Apex and Rainbow Six Siege.
In terms of art style it still holds up.
Far Cry 2 was awesome. In addition to having demonstrably better physics and AI than later games in the series, it had a lot of design decisions that, criticized at the time, have since been praised in games like BOTW and Dark Souls.
I assume they are just basing this stat on how many users on PS5 created a new PSN ID (or more rarely signed into one that had been active on PS3 but that was never active on PS4, which is probably a vanishingly small category of people). If that's the case, I'm sure this overestimates new users. While it's unthinkable to the hardcore on here, my more casual friends frequently create new PSN IDs because they "forgot" their old login. Since they only buy physical games an...
