I love these ports of classic Sega arcade games.

I hope this continues as I'd love to see...
Space Harrier
Super Monaco GP
Power Drift
Daytona USA
Star Wars Trilogy Arcade
Crazy Taxi

I still drag out the Dreamcast from time to time to play Daytona and Crazy Taxi! And Super Monaco GP was one of my fave MegaDrive/Genesis games

Bad luck on the spoiler deep.

I tend to stay away from N4G every time there's a big game release. Seen too many idiots giving away endings and stuff on this site.

What I'm seeing in this thread is people saying they are cautious of what this means; and many saying they will not pay. So not entirely sure where this hypocrisy claim is coming from.

As I said in one of my previous comments... The quality of the multiplayer experience MS provides on 360 is not what I would expect from a paid for service. So they don't get my subscription, and to an extent that has impacted the number of games I buy on 360 - stuff like CoD, BFBC2, ...

"They really expect PS owners who hardly buy games or anything for that matter on PS..."

Lol. Opinions from 2007 strike back again!

Attach rate looks fine according to Sony financials

As long as Sony stick to their word and keep online play free then that's fine by me. They can charge what they like for the other features...

The single reason I cancelled my Live Gold account was cus I didn't think the quality of online gaming (i.e. mostly crappy host favouring P2P) matched the price I was being asked to pay.

If Sony do the same thing and monetise online play, then won't be getting my money; I'll just carry on using my PC f...

Japanese devs have been trying to 'westernise' their games for a while now - and finally one of them has realised this doesn't work!

The sole reason some Japanese developers are popular in the West is because of the quirky and different types of games they provide! Why would they try and westernise!!

SquareEnix should take note!

I love buying games from Steam. The DRM is unobtrusive, and I just find it very convenient.

My only gripe is that the prices are often higher than the boxed versions. Which seems ridiculous to me, as it can't possibly cost more to store games on a server than actually produce, ship and warehouse a physical product.

I bought some of these (can get em cheaper if you hunt around). Totally transforms the PS3 triggers for the better. Never had them pop off during gaming.

When I first picked up the 360 controller I thought it was great, and Sony should update the DualShock. But I soon came to my senses and realised that the DualShock controller works for a reason... it's versatile and a design classic.

The D pad works great, the sticks are perfectly sprung, the overall weight is good, internal rechargeable battery is handy too. The only problem is the horrible L/R2 triggers - they are seriously bad.

Both controllers have...

Well, it takes two to tango... The PS3 fanboys get riled cus of the 360 fanboys and vise versa... so on it goes around and around, back and forth.

The 360 fanboys are just as bad - and as someone who has been on this site for a long long time I've seen the best and the worst of each camp. Nasim / TheMart etc etc etc.

The big appeal of this site is the petty arguing between the fanboys. It's hilarious! I honestly can not believe that some people get ...

I can give a couple of reasons why PS3 owners haven't bought any games recently....

God of War 3. Heavy Rain. Final Fantasy XIII. And letting their wallets recover before Red Dead Redemption, and ModNation Racers!!

I don't see why this article needs to complain.

Game play beats graphics every time - and no one knows how good the game play is yet. And to me the graphics look atmospheric.

Also, the complaint about post-apocalyptic games being a tired formula... What? Sure we've seen a few more post-apoc games recently - but more games than the wizards and warriors themed games, or near future combat themed games?? I don't think so. Plus the variety in post...

If a player never worked out that they needed to switch the controller in to port 2 to beat Mantis... then I guess MGS was nearly impossible to some! :)

But overall, the MGS series hasn't been that tough to beat.

To me, that's the genius of Demons Souls. The difficulty level is all in the players mind! Work out how to play the game properly and it become less of a challenge, and for some, it even becomes easy.

I think most of the fun of Demons Souls was seeing a new enemy for the first time and thinking 'uh oh what am I gonna have to do to beat this guy!' :)

I'm with you there!

There were very few Speccy games I ever completed... And don't even get me started on the Vic20!! :)

I guess what it shows is that games have changed over the years. In the past it was all about the high score; or getting past that one horrible little section of a game. Now it's all about the journey and the experience and the next giant boss or cut scene.

In some ways I miss those old days - but I only have ...

That's a big claim... The Burnout series is a masterpiece to me! So Bulletstorm has a lot to live up to be the FPS equivalent.

I hope it does.

Same here - PS3 is in constant use. 360 is waiting for one or two titles in 2010 (maybe - mainly waiting to see if Fable 3 finally delivers Molyneaux's visions!!).

When the dust settles on this generation, no matter what the final units sold figures are - MS have had a hugely successful generation to build on for the next. I'm just disappointed that they've really slumped in the last couple of years.

Dark Cloud 3 would be nice. Not sure the PS3 'needs' it though.

It's great that each territory is coming out with different types of games.

I may be a little bias, but I do think the most creativity is coming from Europe.

Oooh, "lost" another 4G iPhone did you Mr Jobs!

I think this is that is much more likely to be intentional leaks.
