If this is true then it's got to be that the 16GB is built in flash memory, not a hard drive. This would help lower the cost of the machine, and enable a hard drive to be added later.
If my current PS3 fails, then I'd definitely buy a cheaper 16GB model, and just slap in my 320GB hard drive.
D3 was always going to have a tough time living up to the hype. But unfortunately I don't think it was worth it.
Blizz seemed to go in a different direction from D2, and in the process made a worse and less fun game than it's 10 year old big brother.

VC is a fantastic game, and probably in my top 10 list of faves, but not sure it's one of the top strategy games.
Most levels had a pretty limited way to complete them, and were more like puzzles than requiring in depth strategy planning, but the game was great fun and the story / characters were brilliant.

If I play the main game for 50hours, then 25 hours replaying it, and then another 25hours trying to get Trophies... how is that a bad thing?
What I like about Trophies / Achievements is that they make me think about playing games in a different way. I played Crackdown to death, just messing about after the main game was done... but there were some Achievements in there...

I would have put money on Sony going for a couple of Cell CPU's for the PS4... I always thought it would make sense... The devs have got over the hump of the whole 'PS3 is hard to develop for' so the transition to PS4 would be easy. Also it allows more simple BC with the PS3.

I watched the endings on YTouTube, as there was no way I would bother going back to ME3.
I was still left underwhelmed. Even if those had been the original endings I would still have felt meh. Sure it filled a few gaps in the plot, but overall Bioware just failed to deliver what they promised - which was that every decision in the game would influence the ending - but ultimately it still came down to choose A, B or C for your spoon fed ending (and now D as well).
As much as I enjoy these Planeswalkers games, they always make me want a proper MtG online update.

As a long time Blizz fan I was eagerly awaiting Starcraft 2, and Diablo 3. Both have been let downs. I shall definitely be more careful weighing up future Blizz purchases, and they've lost a Day 1 customer in me.

The Surface RT is an ARM based device, so yes, any app would need to be re-written for that model. The Surface Pro is Intel based, so not an issue (I would hope!!)
As MS are making a big push towards ARM with Windows 8, they may have some decent dev tools to help transition apps from one architecture to the other. I can't see the RT being that cheap unless MS are taking a loss to gain market share.
Amazon lose money on the Kindle Fire and that's $199 and massively lower spec than the RT.
The specs of the RT are much closer to the iPad, so I would imagine pricing similar to the WiFi only new iPad, so between 499 and 699 depending on storage. Maybe 399 an outside bet for the lower capacity model, but there's a lot of tech and R&D gone in to that device...
