I didn't subscribe for those 'free' titles, I subscribed for the cloud backups, betas and discounts. Anything else Sony throw in is just a bonus.

I think your comment is fair.

@steve30x

If someone expects me to pay for something, and it turns out disappointing or sub-standard, then they deserve criticism.

Mass Effect 1 was great.
Mass Effect 2 was disappointing
Mass Effect 3 was an improvement on #2 until the ending.

I don't agree with threatening comments, but criticism, especially in a creative field of work, should be expected.

I'd have more respect for the guys if they h...

If you don't want people to think you're making a sequel, a top tip is to not name your game the same as the original!!

The thing that puts me off this game is the insanely priced DLC. Last time I checked PSN Store individual songs were priced at almost £2.50 each.

I've seen arguments that it's good value compared to paying for guitar lessons, which is a fair point, but unfortunately the price point Ubisoft have chosen doesn't feel like good value - even if it is.

I don't have a problem with Free Day 1 DLC. It's obvious that developers are using it as an incentive to encourage people to buy the game new, and create the perception that buying trade will not be the full experience.

People who buy trade (as I sometimes do) are not putting any money in to the developers pocket, so that's why we see stuff like Free Day 1 DLC, Season Passes etc, Special Editions etc.

Where I'll get concerned over this practi...

Unfortunately Sony are struggling financially far too much to be able to do that. The Super Slim is all about lowering the production costs, so they make more money.

Not only are they saving on components and production, but they can transport more units per ship (smaller box size). It's all designed to help them return to profitability.

I assume Sony have done the calculations and figured out that the number of units sold at current price, outweighs th...

And how about the physical power and eject buttons on the slim... I can't believe Sony replaced the touch sensitive buttons from the PS3 fat with such ancient technology... No sale!! /s!

Slightly off topic, but if Forza 5 is for the next gen Xbox then I really hope MS are going for standard USB ports instead of proprietary.

I would love to use my Logitech wheel on Forza.

That's impressive.

I'm glad it's doing well. It's an absolute blast and I'm really enjoying it.

Depending on how Nintendo have implemented region locking, it could be that they are far more bothered about hardware imports than software.

That's a shame, but not unexpected.

Good comment.

In general the industry has become risk averse, not lazy. But to an extent this is understandable. When it costs multiple millions to produce a game some publishers / developers are literally risking their future existence on its success.

Unfortunately we, as consumers, are in a situation where generic titles sell. The demand for original, innovative and risky titles is much smaller than the mob who just demand more Halo, more CoD. more FPS / ...

This is a really enjoyable game, and one of my favourites on iPad.

The atmosphere is really good, the graphics are stunning, and the puzzles just challenging enough to avoid frustration. There's little replay value (although I did go through a second time), so your opinion may vary on how much value the £2.99 price provides.

I am very much looking forward to future chapters (as long as they are sensibly priced).

Lol. Slow news day???

Any chance of a comparison article between Salesforce and Remedy, and maybe even throw in SAP EIC to mix it up a bit!!!

If this is true it'll be interesting to see how Valve handle the story telling.

Good to hear they've got a line up to look forward to. I'm not jumping in to the next gen on Day 1 this time. So a few more years of PS3 will do nicely.

I agree with #1 on the list, Journey is doable with a hangover.

I would replace GTA with something like Just Cause 2 or Saints Row though - they are more mindless.

All the others are probably not possible depending on the size and scale of the hangover... Playing CoD multiplayer, no.. that's far too much noise and chaos. Playing Mario Galaxy.. no, that requires far too much skill.

I think there could be a market for a genre geared toward...

Imagine you're Sonic the Hedgehog running carefree through Green Hill and everything seems fun and awesome... then you get hit by a truck, and your now limp blue half dead body sticks to the tire for the next 50 miles... that's a hangover.
