"The article is simply saying that given Xbox's relative insignificance to Microsoft overall, compared to PlayStation's significance to Sony as a whole, Microsoft can go more nuts with Xbox than Sony can with the PS4. That's all. That's it."
...and there is a big difference between "can" & "will". Does anyone see MS as the biggest risk takers in the industry? Have they ever been hoisted w/ that title? The entire issue w/ Xbo...
Not sure why you are getting disagrees for just speaking the truth in saying that 4k native will take concessions even on the Scorpio hardware. Gamers who have very capable PC rigs that push more than 6 tflops all say that they have issues running 4k at even 30 fps on many games, much less 60.
MS can't really have it all across the board...if they are making a pure push for 4k, then the games will suffer in performance, stability & visuals. I just don't understa...

"I agree with most Sony games compared to Microsoft games and have a better score but man I don't know a single game soundtrack better than Halo 2 or 3's."
Ironic then that the composer of all of that music, Martin O'Donnell, is now working on the PSVR exclusive Golem.
Either way I personally dig Uncharted & TLOU's scores better than any other last gen or likely bar none. I may have been more int...
Totally understand your decision, there are some games on the XBO I'd like to check out too, but I don't have a 4k tv so I can't really justify it yet. The games I've wanted on there haven't seemed to pan out all that well and it doesn't give me a lot of hope for the future games I'd like to play on there. Also, per the games you are missing on the XBO, Inside & We Happy Few are both timed console exclusives, so they will both be hitting PS4 at some point in th...
The first picture of the two characters climbing & sneaking up behind the unaware storm troopers is the greatest piece of evidence yet that this game will have that undeniably fun UC dna. Really wish we didn't have so long to wait, but if they nail something along the lines of 1313 but instead of setting it in one area they turn it into a proper universe hopping SW story, there is no doubt in my mind that it'll be my personal favorite SW game of all time.
Not me....there will no doubt be an open RPG SW game coming, isn't Bioware or Jade Raymond confirmed to be working on their own title? Then there's a possibility for Respawn's title being something along those lines.
Uncharted w/ Star Wars coating sounds delicious to me. Just like Hennig said, she wants to create a playable SW film, which is something we've never really had before.
There can be both games for sure, but I'm fairly sure...
I'm in the same boat. I never really tried much of DR2 because I was never able to play the first, and tbh I wouldn't have played it even if I could beyond a quick rental maybe. Just really can't stand a ticking clock hanging over my head, that's always been a huge pet peeve. I prefer to take my time w/ a game. If they removed the clock I'd possibly rent this but I'm not really checking for it in any way.
I just think Days Gone looks more interesting...
Regardless of reasoning, the PS4 will still end up w/ the most consistent exclusives released this year. Sony ain't the only one delaying, Gears & Horizon are the only games this year that won't have been delayed, while Sea of Thieves, Recore, Halo Wars 2 & Crackdown are all slipping from their initial release windows. That's a good thing on the whole because it means the games will only get better. The issue at hand isn't the delay, the issue is that Greenberg is too ...
The cloud is available for any console, PS4 included. I'm curious to see how Crackdown turns out, but anyone fully believing the PR line & first demo are by the same measure ignoring the fact that the game hasn't been shown whatsoever for the past year, the beta has quietly been canceled, and there is no release window beyond 2017.
Also there's the fact that the demo originally shown off was running off of 11 dedicated servers & a blazing fast perfect sc...
Don't see a sequel happening anytime soon after the poor sales of RotTR, and most definitely not happening as soon as next year, for Scorpio or any other console. The timed deal for the sequel effectively killed all of the good will & momentum that the first reboot worked so hard to build up. I wouldn't be surprised if they threw the new reboot & entirely and started over again in time to push a game out for the movie tie in.
I didn't even realize this was happening? Is it a full remaster or is it the PS2 on PS4 kinda deal that games like The Warriors recently got?
I've never played the game & since Heavy Rain I've always wanted to, great to hear that it's a good game & it's nice that it was able to bring you a little peace during those tough times....I definitely look forward to trying it out.
I think the price is nice too, but it seems to me like MS pushed this one out a bit too quick from the outset. The devs had all kinds of great ideas & lofty ambition for this title but judging by the hands on previews they didn't get the opportunity to realize it fully. The devs initially mentioned a game that was a cross between Mega Man, Metroid & Zelda....I just don't see any of that in the previews, the previews made it look like a kinda generic tps w/ added robot gameplay...

"Oh come on. Nate managed to take down highly skilled soldiers, most were gun play but they had a hand to hand combat feature for a reason. Are you saying none of those soldiers he went against had similar to training to Nadine...I mean come on."
That's a fair point, but you are also talking about NPC cannon fodder type of characters, so its really hard to assign individual weight to every person he'd ever scrapped with. Out of ...
Hennig was the heart of the UC franchise, but not the entire company. Look at TLOU, if you enjoyed that game as much as everyone else, that is ND moving forward. I'm sure they will introduce more or less humor & levity based off of the theme of whatever game they are creating, but the ND of today is interested in creating complex weighty stories that examine real world topics & true human emotions.
Seems to me that ND will be just fine w/o Amy. She's going t...
Well Nate has zero training, Nadine Ross would've spent her entire life being trained in combat as a mercenary considering her father started the outfit.
From what I recall, Drake rarely went hand to hand w/ villains and got his butt handed to him when he did...Lazarevic actually beat the snot out of Drake when he tried, Navarro also beat him if I recall...Drake fought Talbot hand to hand and lost the first time, nearly lost the second and the only reason he was even h...
I think Insomniac sees it that way a bit as well. From the trailer we saw Mr. Negative's goons, and that is a villain primed to have as many interactions w/ Peter as he would w/ Spidey from his dual nature persona. We saw that quick shot of the Feast center that his civilian alter ego ran that Aunt May worked at, then we saw Oscorp which obviously represents the alter ego of Green Goblin. They seem to be grabbing villains that can interact w/ Peter out of costume, so chances are good that...
I felt kinda dense that I didn't notice it before, but that costume design is basically a history of costumes all rolled into one...you've got the classic red & blue, some flourishes from the 90s redesign, the texture & eyes of the Raimi & Civil War suits, and that big white spider, which was ripped straight from the black costume.
That white spider may hint that we will see the symbiote, but it may just be a nod. I'd say Carnage is a no go though, t...
Well MS doesn't have any more 2016 events left unless they announce a new one. That would leave it for the MS event in Jan. 2017 or more likely the larger public stage of E3 2017, which would put its release sometime after that, which is right around Scorpio's release.
Another reason it seems likely is that beta itself...it was initially penciled in officially by MS themselves for a Summer release, yet Summer is nearly over & we haven't heard word from it. A...
You are just flat out wrong. The gameplay isn't similar in the slightest, even from what small amount we've seen. The only inspiration comes in the narrative dynamic between Kratos & his son. The actual narrative itself will obviously be very different w/ the Norse mythology, and aside from having a bow, the weapons will be completely different, the ability to actually direct Kratos' son will give that relationship a different dynamic in combat, there will obviously be puzzles...
The funniest thing about those early comments from Phil in regards to HoloLens vs. VR was that he "sees VR as a future tech out in the distance", that "AR is for the present and a tech that is more readily able to be achieved"
Yet here we are, HoloLens only has a $3,000 dev kit in the wild w/ a horrendous FOV, and no release date or consumer model in sight, and yet we will have no fewer than 4 different VR solutions ready & available for consumers at...
