I absolutely agree...some people bashed Superior but I thought it was genius, it really added a great spin...I'd never thought if it as a game but it would be kinda perfect. On top of the traditional spider powers you could also have a bigger focus on the tech with gadgets & suits. That would make for a great game.

That sounds promising...possibly the best thing about MS having their own PC storefront & competing a bit with Steam is that they will need to run great sales & discounts, which could have a ripple effect through the entire console system. If MS starts lowering digital prices to compete w/ Steam, Sony, Nintendo & all of the major third parties may be forced to follow suit, which results in the one thing people have been asking for for a long time: cheaper digital prices.
I'm glad we are finally going to potentially see a wider roster of villains to go along w/ those classic rogues. The trailer shows Mr. Negative's Inner Demons a few times & it shows the Feast center so he's a shoe in, then there's the Oscorp stuff which would point to Goblin making an appearance. I think the coolest feature that from what I know has never been done before in an RPG is the quest creator.
Apparently from what I've heard about it, say if you need +100 ore to craft a certain weapon...instead of just scavenging ore for hours, you can have the game create a customized quest whose reward is that +100 ore. Little systems like that show not only how deep this game could turn out, but how it could potentially be a lot more streamlined & intuitive than...
I personally wonder if it has anything to do with the co op mechanic. To my knowledge networked play isn't in Platinum's wheelhouse. I may be wrong there but I've always known them to focus on traditional offline campaigns.
The co op is most likely an MS mandate, Spencer has said before that one thing he asks of partners on software is some kind of online component. Could be Kamiya is running into issues creating a game like that when his background doesn't ...
Would it benefit MS all that much to get Crackdown working for Azure? Seems like their money will be made off of businesses utilizing the cloud than a handful of gamers doing so.

Yeah same here...Never been into racers & I'm only a PS4 owner but I've gotta say Forza is the premier racer so far this gen it seems. All boxes have certain genres that they end up representing & racers are definitely one of MS' forte's so far this gen along with fighters. Horizon looked really cool at E3 and I'm not even a racing fan. MS should make an Elite racing wheel for this series.
It's also pretty telling that Scorpio is right around the corner, marketed as the beastly "most powerful console ever" & the highest rated games for the platform are the ones that can run on a toaster.
Really shows it's all about quality & creativity. All of the power in the world won't make a bad game suddenly good. Consoles should first & foremost be investing in talent....let the hardware take a back seat to the thing it was built to run...
Haha yup...and this year's E3 when MS dedicated a portion of their show to indies & Sony didn't, nobody made a peep, even after those years of having to listen to those same people who criticized those portions now sing their praises. We Happy Few was considered one of the best portions of MS' conference...Sony would've been eaten alive on here back then.

Exactly. The narrative of "Beyond Generations" is just silly. If anything it should be "More & Quicker Generations"...it's generations to the tenth power. I guarantee that eventually the vanilla XBO will lost games before being fazed out entirely. Which means that generation is useless, hence it is now dead.
I don't have any problem w/ this method as long as the original consoles aren't fazed out too quickly. Apple does a good job keeping...

Beyond that, Crackdown was shown 2 years ago & still has no release date other than 2017, which indicates there may be issues that may take quite a while to fix...don't see that game launching until late 2017. Uh really? Like Roro pointed out the only game that Sony showed off that was far out was Death Stranding.
The thing is, none of their reveals are ever really 'pie in the sky' stuff....Sony has been far & away the best at revealing games w/ proper meaty gameplay demos as opposed to the CG trailer method that MS has ran w/ this gen.

Exactly my sentiments. Shannon Loftis came out & said that MS currently has 15 games in development, as if that was some huge number to brag about, but it sound pretty underwhelming to me when you realize that number includes all of the announced stuff that just hasn't released yet, which makes up over half that list.

If proximity is what they base their presser off of, they absolutely missed the mark there. uhh...what about all of those reveals from last E3 that weren't present this year? The only 2 games they had shown the prior year were TLG, which got a brief trailer & release date this year and Horizon, which got another great on stage demo & its own release date.
If we are talking about actual trends & pure facts of history, Sony will most likely only show 1 or 2 of the newly revealed games at next E3, along w/ another big handful of huge new announcements...

No, although at least one of those games & possibly both would've started development under Mattrick. Either way Spencer never said it was a rule, but he has absolutely said that it is something that he prefers & suggests for all of his games. Not trying to say that Kamiya doesn't want to do online & not saying the game will be bad, just saying that if there are any issues, that could be one of them.
