I resent the fact that the reboot was released on PS4 yet the sequel is being deliberately witheld from PS4 owners (who
outnumber Xbone owners by nearly two to one) just so Microsoft can have bragging rights to an IP it doesn't even own. The only help MS gave to the developer was to throw a boatload of cash to withold it from PS4. That is it.

This is not a dig at Xbone owners as I have one too but at this shitty practice of multiplatform exclusives - a contradic...

End the console war? Hardly. As a hobby this kind of thing makes sense. However, it makes no sense otherwise as the Playbox is frankly ugly and not really necessary. It must be cheaper to own the two consoles than to get this dude to make up a 'Playbox'. Yes, it is portable and convenient but to have the aesthetics of the PS4 replaced by this? No thanks!

Clearly the guy knows his stuff and it would be nice to see if he could come up with a nicer chassis for the XB...

Man, you are clueless and the best advertisement why one should not have kids.

Nothing you say is backed up by fact and all I can say is that I feel sorry for your kids.

So in a nutshell: jiggle, jiggle, wobble, wobble...or
jiggle, wobble, jiggle, wobble.

End of story.

I would like VR to work as it should and for gaming to become a 360 degree immersive experience. I think that is the natural evolution of where gaming has to go from here. I mean after 4K what then? VR can be a next major step up but only if is released in a form that is as near perfect as possible with present technology otherwise the potential users will just ignore it.

"....sell broken games?" This is a game that is a year away from release. You do realize that don't you? They were just showing us a demo of a game that is far from finished.

This is the kind of shite that just pisses any gamer off let alone a PS4 owner. Why do you have to knock Sony to appreciate what Xbone is doing. Shows the kind of person you are. Just enjoy your console and stop being childish.

By the way, at the rate the Xbone has been discounted people is there any surprise that many people bought it? Hell, even I bought one as my second console and I am PS4 gamer from Day One 20 years ago. I admit that there are some games that I want ...

As s so called 'Sony fan' I am am not down-playing what Phil Spencer says about Xbone. Like many others I dispute the delusional comments and the attitude you Xbone owners display and speak of in terms of doing this to Sony or doing that to PS4. You ignore the facts of the last 18 months and then have the cheek to attribute to us PS4 owners what you lot are doing.

Get a grip...it is good that Xbone and PS4 are in competition cause this will spur on both to do better...

You wish...but it is not going to happen...at least not to the PS4.

"...killed the Ps4" Really, man you are delusional. Look at the desperation with which your premier game, Titanfall the so-called the saviour of Xbone was being given away free shortly after launch, at least here in the UK. That did not work. Since then, Kinect has gone, there have been multiple price cuts and timed exclusivity of a third party game that was coming to both consoles was bought just because Xbone has no game like Uncharted. Even then PS4 is STILL selling more overa...

Geez, when you read some of the comments and responses from the Xbone fans on the feed itself, it is all about coming out on top, or keeping Sony in check or disparaging Sony in some way. The fact is Sony has produced a better console, has better first party studios and the general goodwill of most of the indie devs as well as more third party support as a result of selling nearly twice as many PS4s as Xbone. This is not to say that Xbox is not wanted or needed and if it wasn't for the ...

Joystiq gave this 4.5 out of 5 which would be a 9 and most other sites have given this an 8 and above but as usual IGN decides to to low score a game for which it probably did not get some moola as an incentive, in my opinion, of course.

One step ahead? er,,too much MS kool aid? Considering the debacle of 2013 and lagging behind Sony in every market as well as the laughable release in Japan yesterday, I wonder how you justify that statement?

Ho Hum...not much here we don't know about. Let's NOT talk about Xbone vs. PS4.

I bought a PS4 on launch day because it has always been my console of choice from PS1. Best and widest variety of exclusives and I know that they will support the console well into it's lifetime.

How underwhelming!

Over reliance on 3rd party games most of which will look better on PS4 and nothing major to offer other than Halo 5 and Sunset Overdrive. Also over at the XBox1 site, 'Rise of the Tomb Raider' is shown as an Xbox1 exclusive! What crock!

Nothing to encourage gamers who already have the PS4 and in fact if this is the best Microsoft can do 'for gamers' we are all better off just staying with PS4 this gen.

Yup, you are right. They are not focusing on core gamers because they want to but because they have to after the debacle last year. I don't believe Microsoft is doing anything at this time but damage control and I doubt the sincerity. Titanfall did not turn out to be the saviour Microsoft hoped for, GoW and Halo 5 are not due this year and gamers were vehement in the way they rejected Microsoft last year. All these issues have given Microsoft a kick in the ass and it remains to be seen...

I generally agree with the author. I feel we ought to wait until the game is released before we decide whether we like it or not as Sledgehammer may well succeed in giving us a good game at least if not something completely new. I do wish that the Single player campaign is longer, much longer than the ones in the last 5 games and more in keeping with the duration of the campaigns in Call of Duty 1 & 2 released for PC and which were about WW2. In fact I wouldn't mind a return to tha...

Pointless article. Most sci-fi games borrow from other sources and precedents and until we actually play the game we won't know how successful Sledgehammer have been in revitalizing the Call of Duty brand. Give it a chance before you try and bring it down. I did not like 'Ghosts' and 'Black Ops 2' but I did enjoy all three Modern Warfares and the first Black Ops so I will look forward to 'Advanced Warfare' as most reasonable gamers should. My only bugbear with ...
