This is such bullshit. The Japanese also like the Iphone and Ipods...Apple is an American company.
The USA is broke because the capitalists in the US are greedy and care more about how much they make then the welfare of their own country. They outsourced jobs, ran down manufacturing, breaking up vital companies so that they could line their own pockets. The disparity between the rich and the poor is the widest it has been ever. The fewest amount of fatcats own the most ...
I have been a Playstation gamer since Day 1 of the PS1 and I think competition is healthy and necessary for both Playstation and Xbox. If PS4 had not done well out of the gate, we may well have ended up with the DRM fascism that Microsoft wanted to foist on us and if PS3 had not experienced the issues that it did last gen, would we have had the success that the PS4 has been?
I don't think SE and Capcom would give a damn about Xbox not being in Japan as they need to sell their games globally and Xbox is still strong in the USA and UK and other countries.
Give up Japan, use the money spent there towards focussing your efforts in your best markets and setting up studios to make your own exclusive IPs and games. Hard core Japanese players can always import the Xbox consoles and games. Create IPs that are attractive to gamers globally and stop worrying about catching up to Sony. Both consoles need each other to spur each other on to better things.
At the moment failure in Japan is lending the impression of failure to the con...
You beat this game in 6 hours, did you? Really?
I don't think anyone hyped this game beyond what is expected of any AAA game on any console. We always knew the graphics were going to be stunning and no one reasonable expected anything other than what Ready at Dawn had said this game would be. I suspect the game was punished more what it didn't do as though Ready at Dawn had some kind of obligation to make a game that met the expectations of the reviewers rather than what they wanted to make.
I and many of my frie...
Dumbass comments like your are the reason why many gamers dislike Xbone owners.
Hear, Hear! Well said, sir. You are indeed a gamer.
Play it before you decide whether the complaints are valid. Too many people are repeating what they have heard rather than what they have experienced with this game.
I have played the game twice now in four days and it truly does deserve a score of between 7 and 8, the 8 being the maximum. The graphics are stunning, like nothing anyone has seen before, the gameplay is less than I would like but what there is is good and tense in many sections and finally, the game plays like it should and is not at all broken like Assassins Creed: Unity and the Masterchief Collection.
I would have preferred more than a 9 hour playing time and even more d...
"Why not this question when Microsoft released Ryse?" Because the media chooses to hold Microsoft to a different standard. And no, I am not a PS4 fanboy, I own both consoles but I consider the PS4 a better console.
I agree that the first two Infamous games were better but Second Son in no way ruined the franchise. Consider it as a different take. The gameplay was fun on the harder settings and this is what counts in the end.
Right, so I am justifying my purchase of this game by disputing reviews just so that I can delude myself that I was not ripped off. Not all of us are idiots.
I played this game and I have been a serious gamer for over three decades. I think I have enough experience to know a crappy game and The Order:1886 ain't it. Most of us don't like the scores because they are unjust.
I have just finished the game I can say that any review giving this game a score below 70 - 80 out of 100 is just ridculous. This only major issue is length and it took me nine hours on the hard difficulty. There are other issues but none that justify the low scores some reviewers have given this game. Frankly, I would rather have this game then the broken mess Assasin's Creed: Unity was.
This review is rather generous. I don't think the game is on par with The Last of Us to warrant a 95. I have been playing it all today and I am half done (I think) and I would rate this as a 75 to 80, certainly not more than 80. If all the reviews had given it a 70 or so, I would have considered it fair but some of the scores were just unjustly horrible. The game is certainly not lower than a 70.
I think anyone who has been a serious gamer for a long time would be ...
I agree with the article. It is a stunning game visually and whilst the gameplay isn't totally to how I would want it for a new gen third person shooter, the game is breathtaking. I found myself getting clobbered a few times just cause I was staring at the screen instead of paying attention to the gameplay.
You could just rent it...
Why don't you try being respectful in how you address people - "these Sony mongs"? Unless you like to be referred to as an "Xbone joke", of course.
I have both consoles but I also think that there has been a lot of hate for "The Order" It isn't a 'great' game or perhaps not even a 'very good' game but it is a 'good' game. I have been playing today and I am just about halfway and it in no way deserves some of ...
I agree, brother. I am even older and no, we haven't lost touch but that some gamers are entitled and whiney!. It is easier to hate then to judge fairly.
I have been playing The Order since 9 am this morning (UK) and in my opinion this game does not deserve the poor scores it has got. I would say 3.5 - 4 out of 5 (Or 75 - 80 out 100).
Oh yeah, as if the shareholders and investors in Microsoft will ever let that happen.
