Let us not kid ourselves - we want to know what games are coming, no matter how far in the future they are. However, there should be a reasonable timescale when it comes to offical annoucements and reveals. A game announced at this year's E3 should release no later than Dec 2016. This ensures old farts like me may still be alive to play the darn thing and also allow us all to enjoy the waiting game which is usually full of character reveals, new gameplay and silly things like which pla...

The article makes some interesting points and I even agree that the comments about the manner in which EA and Ubisoft pulled support for the console are valid but the fact remains that Nintendo themselves had a half-hearted approach to the Wii U. You cannot blame a lack of first party releases on anyone but Nintendo. Yes, EA and Ubi hobbled Nintendo out of the gate but in business these things happen and Nintendo should have been quicker to address the shortfall. Example, take a look at ho...

The story in UC3 was the weakest aspect of the game in my opinion. Given how good TLOU was, it is no surprise that the team decided to get rid of work that Hennig had already done as it is always easier to start afresh then to use existing material and thread it with the new approach. This is not to say the Hennig's work was better or worse just that for a company to jettison so much work already done and take the financial hit is only a resort when the end result of such an action prom...

Before E3 there were comments on this site that expressed hopes and wishes that the studios would not focus on VR and AR to the detriment of gaming and this is exactly what happened - Sony left the VR PR to the floors and live demos as did Microsoft with just a small exhibition on Hololens and Minecraft. So now we get people complaining that there was no focus of VR and all kinds of theories as to why...

I guess they (ID) think that Hell should have some warm colours but the game looks better without the filter - they should allow gamers to switch it on or off in the options.

You should be ashamed of yourself...call yourself a gamer and then spread this kind of muck? A game is a game, indie or AAA,and the fact is that both Xbone and Sony have good games coming out this and next year.

Yes, Microsoft has exclusives for the holidays (just three or four) but haven't released a single "big AAA retail exclsuive since January 2015 wile Sony released The Order 1886, Bloodborne, MLB, The Show and shortly due is Until Dawn. People don't just game during the holidays and there are enough multiplats now let alone so many being released over the holiday season that NO ONE will have the time for any more exclsuives. I will take a Fallout 4 and Just Cause 3 over anything ...

Look both Sony and Microsoft did really well and as gamers we need BOTH to compete against each other so that we the gamers always have plenty to play with regardless of console, exclusive or multiplat...

No one is holding a gun to my head - I choose to buy old games to play on the PS4 as I chose to buy the MCC release for Xbox last Christmas and will buy the remastered Gears of War this fall. If Microsoft had had it's way in 2013, you wouldn't have been able to lend your game to a friend - chew on that instead...

The gamers won! Who cares about whether Microsoft and Sony won - they both had excellent shows and the real gamers will likely call it a draw as both had new reveals as well as old favourites brought back for a new round.

Bethesda knocked it out of the park on Sunday and set up an excellent Microsoft show that had some really good interesting games like Sea of Thieves and Recore. The challenge was taken up by Sony who revealed Horizon, a timed exclusive remake of the belove...

This was one of the best conferences ever...! It was short but the reveals were just knocked out of the park. Doom looks like the best Doom yet with new gen graphics and old school tactics and packed with the intensity and urgency of the first two releases and SnapMap looks like a lot of fun. I hope the game is old school even in difficulty and this will be the perfect Doom! I liked the emphasis on single-player as well as multi and frankly the reveal just makes me wish I could fast forward ...

This was excellent from Bethesda. I am really looking forward to Doom, Fallout 4 and Dishonored 2. I think the devs are trying to give as much content as possible on each of these games in addition to the best possible gameplay and I especially like Snapmap on Doom. This was the perfect start to E3 and I am sure Microsoft and Sony will also not disappoint...

You must have drunk the MS Kool Aid to the last drop...you don't even realize that this only enables the Xbone to stream a game to the Rift via a PC and that it only in a virtual screen...I guess next thing will be that the Cloud will somehow allow virtual reality to happen even though the Xbone is not pwerful enough to support the Rift....
