Ouch!
However, the Dreamcast was a far better console at the time with many, many games that were really good. I still play games like 'Shenmue' and 'Crazy Taxi' on mine and it still occupies a slot on my hi-fi and gaming rack alongside the PS4. Games were still being released as late as 2013!
The Dreamcast actually sold well initially and was liked by most gamers but Sega decided it would not compete with the PS2 and did not want to get int...
Let ROTR stand on whether the gameplay is good enough or not and forget about trying to compare with Naughty Dog and Uncharted 4. Most gamers will acknowledge that that it is not likely that ROTR will be as good as UC4 either visually or in gameplay but even if it is not, there is no reason why the game good still not be enjoyable, fun and exciting. It is just that Naughty Dog are on another level altogether.
No time or interest because your bug ridden games, micro-transactions and cutting out single player campaigns from any game these days takes up all your time and interest. "EA - it's all in the name -'Eternally Avaricious'"
What you are suggesting is exactly what is needed - gamers rejecting such practices wholesale by all or most of them refusing to buy a game that pales in comparision to the content of Battlefront II and then being charged an additional $50 for so-called DLC that should have been part of the game from the outset.
The problem is...that too many people will just buy the game because it is the first new Battlefront game in a decade and will assume that it bears some relationship ...
If so, I stand corrected...sorry Bethesda!
Really cheeky of Bethesda to only have NA gamers who purchased Wolfenstein New Order to get the Beta while for Europeans it is a 'first come-first serve' lottery. We were also sold the same Wolfenstein with promises of the Doom Beta!
This so-called 'Uncharted veteran' was anything but. Anyone who has played the best game in the Uncharted series so far would recognize the game anywhere. In fact this particular sequence has been also used as a demo for the new 'Nathan Drake Collection' remaster for the PS4. The fact is that this poor excuse of a reviewer was just spouting stuff he read in other reviews. He got caught but the majority of gaming journalism now is exactly the same. The internet may ultimate...
Does it matter? I mean Microsoft PR is always telling people that the Xbone is doing better than the 360 in the same time frame, so then it should not matter whether Xbox One catches up with the PS4. That is a battle that need not be even fought and this would allow Microsoft to concentrate on doing what Phil has been doing since his appointment - improving the image of Xbox One, make better exclusives and improving the Xbox experience.
Sony is concentrating on itself and ...
What has Sony got to do with this? Just buy the bundle if you want but do not turn this into a fanboy, 'ours is better' situation as it is unnecessary.
It seems it is the backers that are going to end up bearing the cost of bad decisions made by the devs as now they are unable to give refunds as the money has effectively been used up and yet the game is nowhere near being ready.
Kickstarter sgould not be a place people like these get a change to gather money and then they can walk away if the game never materializes as a result of poor planning, bad decisions and just not having enough experience to be in charge of a project...
There is nothing wrong with hoping - Scalebound may well give current Japanese Xbone owners a home-made game to enjoy and if it gets more local people buying console to try the game, well and good. The fact is that the game is being made primarily for the rest of the world as that is where the bulk of the sales will come from as no company is going to spend the kind of money the game will need in order to be any good just for 50 or 60 thousand consoles which are about the number of Xbone con...
I agree, this article shows a lot of bias for PC and there have been plenty of independent reviews of the PS VR stating that it is quite smooth and crisp. In fact, reviews of the system playing 'London heist' and 'EVE' have been very positive.
Of course, the PS VR is meant to be used with the PS4 and will never match what the PC would be capable of but that is the trade off. Leaving aside the cost of the PS VR, the Rift or the Vive, we have a $350 ready-to-go...
Wow, look at all those empty chairs! No wonder most of the presenters look deflated - it must be hard to speak to a a room that is nearly empty.
Why didn't Microsoft just do this during TGS? With all the buzz for that and the attendance, surely an event like this would have had more interest? It makes no sense and all that happens is it is reinforced that the Xbox is doing poorly in Japan ('poorly' is an understatement).
There should be reasonable pay and safe working conditions but these actors also have to understand that this is a business that is driven by creativity first and then immediately by financial considerations especially from large corporations and in such a situation everyone is expendable.
Hayter and North came to prominence because of the huge success of the respective games that they were a part of, namely Metal Gear Solid and Uncharted which would not have existed withou...
Yup, PS4 hit 25 million way back in early July. Must be on the 26 million and above mark by now.VGchartz is about three months behind with these stats.
I am surprised you have time to play any game. Whst with the artwork and movies and surfing...
Er...okay.
If "PS4 is PS3 version 1.5" then 'Xbox One is Xbox 360 minus 359'.
Uncharted and Horizon are both games that have yet to be released so no one can know how good or bad they will be but from the footage shown to date most will agree that they are games to genuinely look forward to. In fact your entire comment is designed to come across as someone who has knowledge through experience but the comments about Uncharted and Horizon betray you to be just biased and making things up.
If you like Xbox One so much, enjoy it but don't go making ...
Another useless article that tries to create a situation where there is none. All these events of Hennig leaving or being 'forced out'and others walking out in support of her happened a long time ago and, frankly, no one knows what the truth really is as Hennig and Co. haven't done too badly after landing on a Star Wars project at EA Visceral, one which Hennig is in charge of and which actor Nolan North describes as "Star Wars in the style of Uncharted".
