I agree that Konami suck, but there are plenty of good devs out there and I am sure that Kojima will land on his feet at a place where they appreciate his talents and abilities. Konami may well rue the day the let Mr. Kojima go! We gamers will have plenty of other good games to enjoy.

I am sad Metal Gear Solid may well be over after Phantom PAin but I rather that it was never made then to see anyone else other then Kojima in charge of a MGS game.

Wow, so another issue for Xbox fanboys to get excited about! Now buying AMD will ensure that the next Xbox will be better than the PS5 (see comments from Flexluger above). It is as though these guys just live for the opportunity to beat Sony instead of just enjoying gaming and their preferred console.

I am sure Sony will simply come up with another solution if it cannot rely on AMD anymore to supply chips. There are other alternatives and it would not be the first time i...

What an stupid comment - far removed from reality as can be possible.

I have a new unopened original Playstation, one of two I bought way back in 1995. I still use the one I opened occasionally and I am surprised that it is still working as I must have played nearly a 100 games on it (clearly the build quality of older consoles is far better as my PS3s lasted only 2 to 3 years each). I was just playing 'Vandal Hearts' on it last week. Surprisingly one gets used to the lesser quality graphics after an hour or two!

Amen to that, brother.

This is probably Konami doing what they seem to do best these days - abusing goodwill. They mistreat their staff, they mistreated Kojima, they are now screwing the majority of gamers out of a proper ending to Kojima's last MGS game.

I understand the comments above that we gamers have no right to demand the missing portion and we are not entitled, but considering many of us have been Metal Gear Solid fans since the first PS1 game and have purchased each and every release ...

@ showtimefolks is absolutely right. There are more than enough new games available and many of us have not played the remastered game on the original release. I am also for an ew studio getting support by working on the remasters.

What a load of bull! One only has to look at the various trailers since E3 and even a novice can tell that Uncharted 4 looks much better!

This is a case of wishful thinking rather than any level of reality.

Okay, it is overkill but let's cut the guy some slack. He clealry has done this to get back at the awful behaviour of Konami. Just enjoy the game and get through the credits. Konami will probably release a patch that gets rid of the Mr. Kojima's credits and replace them with "A Konami Game"...

PizzaSteve#8 - Yes, my introduction to the MGS universe was also with that game on PS1. Almost all of the subsequent releases have been excellent and the only issue I had with the series was the bait and switch with Snake and Raidan wayback in Sons of Liberty. MGS 4 was another high point and even the two PSP entries were good, especially Peace Walker and now with MGS V we have the ultimate open world stealth game.

Malphite is absolutely correct - the credit overkill is Mr. Kojima's reaction to the manner in which Konami have behaved by erasing his credits on the company website and all publicity materials and covers. It is a minor discomfort to us fans and we should understand on this occasion.

Haven't played Fallout 4 yet so we cannot compare but as good as Witcher 3 is, I am enjoying MGS V more so for me it is better. I suspect this game will be the GOTY and most people will agree it is well deserved.

I think CLOUD is right to do this. Kojima was only one person at Konami and arguably the company's most creative talent but surely the manner in which Konami treats the less illustrious staff should also concern us. Many of us will refuse to buy, say, clothing that has been manufactured in sweatshops where the workers are paid the bare minimum, or refuse to buy produce that has not benefitted the local growers. I think the way Konami treats staff is just as bad and whether we consume cl...

I agree - Uncharted 2 was much better than 3. The story had more emotional depth and resonance. I always felt the Uncharted 3 was more like a summer blockbuster and looked good but ultimately not as memorable.

We do not know why Henning really left ND but I think Uncharted 4 is safe in the hands of the guys who wrote TLOU and from what we have seen so far, I can't wait for Uncharted 4. I doubt it would be any better with Hennig in charge and if No. 3 was anything to go...

What I can't get over is how many great IPs have been left on the shelf by Sony, Sega, Nintendo, etc. etc. Okay, what's happened has happened but looking at the response the FF7 remake, Shenmue 3 and the Last Guardian announcements got at E3, I would have thought companies would be dusting off some of these IP's for fresh adventures. Some of these great games only had one or two releases, huge acclaim and then...nothing. I know that I and most of my friends would buy any game t...

This article is about an Xbox game. You never seem to miss an opportunity to bring in the PS4, usually always in a negative light. As regards, the God of War 3 remaster in actuality the resolution and fps were improved from the PS3 original but the game looked too similar to the original. The apparent lack of improvement was actually a testament to how good the game really was from the outset. But no one who has played the remaster will tell you that it looks worse. The issue is a good re...

Good assessment of the remaster, frankly the original version from 2006 looks better. I would happily take less detail on the armour and such like in exchange for the characters to look like their 'old' selves - now they look like they have been airbrushed and facial detail has been lost (see page 2 of 11 especially).
