I'm thinking France will take it.
A bond is a loan generated by the company. You (the investor) buy a bond, in return you get a return on it. Bonds mature within a certain period of time.
A loan is the company borrowing money from a financial institution (banks). In this case 20 banks.
I don't really have much to say. Obviously Sony felt they were getting a better rate with the loan, the money isn't even being used for PS3 stuff...what's to say?
Just saw the numbers, it's because people are buying the DS Lite. That makes sense.
How does Oblivion make that list anyway? Not that it's a bad game (I love it), but it's not a game I play on Live.
The reason it didn't survive was because of lack of support. Exactly. And right now Warhawk is the only game I've seen using it. That's a lack of support too.
I think it might be cool if they had rumble as well (that way in driving games you'd feel when you're cornering too hard) but without the rumble feature it is not as useful.
I don't want this motion feature, I like rumble. I saw the guy playing Warhawk at E3, it looked awkward and stupid.
I'm not seeing a reason for the technology. With the Wii they've shown the usefulness, but with the PS3 it's been a no-show. As it was with the MS Sidewinder for the PC.
From the article: "From June 19th to June 25th the Xbox 360 managed to sell a measly 1,169 units compared to the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP which sold 157,022 and 24,737 respectively during the same period."
25,000 Psp's in a week in Japan? Almost 160,000 DS's? Japan has a huge population (125 million!), but that's an awful lot of units moved for portable systems that aren't new to the market.
I'm not even arguing about the 360 numbers here...MS has yet ...
These articles are getting tiresome. Don't tell me about three years from now, bring your product to market and show me.
Right now I have a game console with awesome stuff on it, I'm playing today. I'm a gamer, don't tell me the cool stuff is coming three years from now. There's cool stuff today.
Just from what I've seen of Live demos, my experience has been the game turns out better. People hating the multiplayer may be making a premture judgement.
Got it cownloaded, but haven't had a chance to play it. Sounds great so far!
You think you'll wait 6-8 hours? Think again, people will be camped 24 hours in advance.
I'd suggest waiting anyway. Give it six months.
This would just add to the confusion. It won't be used for games, why add an internal version? Better to lower the cost of the console.
From what I've been seeing in the news and reading about the quality/cost of both blu-ray and hd-dvd, there won't be a winner in these format wars. People will stick with dvds.
I'll be honest, I've never heard of this game. I'd love to see more detail on this story though. What kind of costs were they looking at?
Then Kaz would have answered the PSM question like this:
PSM: Can we expect PS3 games to be priced in the same range as Xbox 360 titles?
Kaz: Yes.
I think the real question is, would this be a deal-breaker for some people?
For most people they won't realize it until they go to the store. They'll see the ps3, note the higher console price, then note the higher game price.
I just find it interesting to think about. My breaking point was the implementation of the Blu-Ray drive, but for some people game price might be the kicker.
It's nice that you think your game prices won't increase if the US increases. Wow.
You've dealt with the price as it is today, not with the price of ps3 games. Surely you're not asking to pay more than you already are?
They do need a monthly newsletter or something telling you what's coming up on Live, or even what's available right now. Asking me to search for new content when there is no new content wastes my time and frustrates the public. We can all get messages, so why not use it?
Americans are complaining because the price is increasing, sure. But it also means the price will be increasing for you guys on the Euro side. So why complain about us complaining? Higher prices affect us all.
You can't estimate how many will be available until they actually start building them, and that's not happening yet. I have no idea when it will happen, but I'm starting to think no manufacturing until September.
