Just a strange turn of events. You would think this would be treated as good news. To be honest, I had thought this was leaked by Sony. It was, after all, information about the contract itself.
I'm really enjoying this game. Hope MS gets more of this out there on the market.
I'm interested in specs because websites were talking about how the processor was (theoretically) being further reduced. But if they're manufacturing them, they've come up with a finalized product.
I'm glad they're manufacturing them, but it makes me sad, too...because obviously they're not going to be changing the controllers.
I think you're making too much out of nothing. They are both similar in size.
I think you are in the minority. Truthfully, anyone posting on these boards is in the minority. Most people I know have yet to get an hdtv.
But an upgradeable console being a step in the right direction? Hell no! This is why I walked away from pc gaming.
If the hardware specs have been finalized and production has begun, can we please see the finalized hardware specs?
This is no inquirer piece, a very interesting, well thought out read.
It's a pc, it's a blu-ray player...Sony, what I want is a game console.
50 dollars actually makes a difference in my mind. I was all set to buy one at release, regardless of games. But 300 makes me take a step back; I'll wait to see the games.
If you put a Sony exec and an MS exec in the same room and left them in there for two hours, both would still be alive at the end of two hours. In truth they'd probably have signed contracts for stuff.
Throw Jin in a room with a guy he's been told likes MS products...I think we'd see a different result.
You need to calm down, take a deep breath, and get some perspective in your life.
Any story that talks about "switching sides" or "defecting", or the person's worried about how people will view his gaming decision...that's just depressing to me.
As it does when these forums devolve into 360 rulez, ps3 rulez rants. Gamers should appreciate the games, regardless of console.
Sony does get my criticism, but that's from a business/design standpoint. I don't like the direction they're taking. Maybe when the console comes out t...
it's good. I didn't get last years version, but this one has more courses, and a slightly different aiming model that interests me.
I'm an old man with old man eyes (early 30's, it'll happen to you too!). Yes, you can zoom in. But character end up looking really similar to my poor old eyes.
Not the games fault, I think it looks great. I've had trouble with other Rts's too.
Do you always hate the things you love? (=
Certainly the best control scheme I've seen for an rts on a console. I can't play this, though...everything looks so tiny on my tv I have a hard time figuring out what's what.
I don't like the idea that consumers are being blamed for the last minute changes to the ps3. If the controller had been a good one, they would have kept it.
If they were listening to consumers, they would realize that Blu-Ray isn't that important to the consumer. A cheaper console would have been preferable. No, this is Sony pushing against consumer opinion, not because of it.
I very much doubt Senator Clinton spent one second with this nutjob.
I hope Thompson wakes up one morning and discovers his superpower, which is the power to be ignored by everyone.
Know what I really appreciated? Eyeball movement. In general things looked fluid and smooth.
Cons: In the casino, lady with the visor: there's a rough edge to that shadow under the visor. Also I agree that the fighting portions seem a bit weak. Those lasers looked sissy. And the way the dead people folded over made me think they were getting shot in the groin.
But I have high hopes for this game. Bioware has not let me down yet.
This list is really really flimsy. It's July, TGS not until September. Why leak?
And what is Siren?!? There were two of these I totally missed?
Edit: I just went to Gamefly and found Siren on PS2, but what a horrible rating! Did they make a sequel for Japan only?
1) Hit start button when playing game, you can stretch out the screen to get a much better picture.
2) Play classic, not the new one. It's easier to see.
I played this in a Best Buy once, it would be good to see it on the 360. Can you imagine playing against others on Live?
