I agree... http://static.giantbomb.com...
I actually think their predictions are much too conserative when considering the trend for the past several years.
I buy all multiplats on PC, they're much cheaper, run by orders of magnitude better, better replay value and have free online. I see more and more console gamers moving to PC, with the m...
Yes you're correct although that does not mean it won't come to Xbox at some point, 'the hoops and exclusivity crap' is basically MS insisting on original content on their platform (so like an extra ship or something 'extra') and that only applies if it releases on another platform first, and expections are even made there.
Game still looks interesting to me and I hope Xbox gamers get it down the line, I'm getting it on PC.
I remember the original launch.. that went so smoothly :)
Seems like a fairly decent release en masse.
^ Exactly this. It just feels too much full RRP 3 times.
I'm with you guys. The author thinks CoD is the pioneer of best shooting mechanics, says it all really.
This rainbow is fantastic at it's core, going to be a great community online of tactical cooperating players.
Bias refers to the selector, not the mathematical object.. any capable reader knows the definition of my sentence. Granted, on semantics, you're technically correct.
I used these suggested Nov'14 NPD numbers:

The point of my argument was to say it's a bet...
Those numbers are biased. You can not compare day one sales for the new GTA to a remaster. Many gamers would have bought the first release.
The remaster sold 1.8million in its first month on current gen consoles.
The remaster sold 1million day one on steam alone, and likely the same overall as it took consoles a month to reach.
That's a fairer comparison, albeit not without its own flaws.
That made me lol +Funny bubble
My current PC will more than double console performance for the lifetime of their cycle, without a single update in hardware.
Pc gaming revenue overtook console revenue in 2014 so don't know what your talking about with PC gaming is making a resurgance, when in fact it's bigger than all consoles combined.
Don't forget many PC gamers use consoles too, it's just PC is objectively better in every single aspect.
On topic, GTA Onl...
Best MP tactical shooter I've ever played, and I've had them all.. CSs, ARMAs, Rainbows, CoDs, Battlefields etc...
I thought the videos started looked stale/boring too. Got to play in the closed alpha and my mind changed instantly.. the game plays amazing, rapelling walls, peeking through windows upside down, breaching through roofs, walls, doors.. hunting enemies like real like a SWAT team, covering fire works, securing corners in dust filled rooms.. tense tense atm...
Game plays even better than it looks. Spraying through walls will get you nowhere (defenders can reinforce walls so bullets/charges don't even get through).
You need a mic that's for sure, I think that's what the reveal was gettting at... I stopped using mics years ago as they're rarely used for their purpose of teamwork, within 10min on R6 siege I had one plugged in and was cooperating fully.. it's just a necessary part of the game to win.
Within the first minute playing in the Alpha I just knew... the hype is real, this game is what I've been waiting for. It's more brutal than CounterStrike, so much more realistic.
Ran smooth 60fps for me, the graphics are not E3 great but it honestly doesn't matter with such superb gameplay... still lots of time for polish too.
Plenty of bugs and the like, but the core mechanics are spot on.
After my first session this went strai...
While some gamers like me beat this game in 2013, and again in 2014, going on to purchase the definitive edition on PC.
Also going up to 4k unlocked FPS is not minimal.
Suppose ya gotta hate on what you don't have, eh?
Opinion, "undisputedly".
Haha so did I, very disappointed to learn it was a biopic.
I use it every day, so does my family (some non-gamers), for turning on and switching channels it's very handy. Also seeing you and signing into your profile is very handy too.
Mucking about in settings yesterday and looked at the camera again, fantasic quality even with nightvision, left me thinking damn what a waste.
Still I wouldn't buy an Xbox without one, an expensive convenience which to date has no gaming application I enjoy, but I'm way t...
Optimal resolution 1440p, optimal refresh rate 90-120hz... multiplied by two.
Yea I agree it's definitely not a now thing with respect to mass market appeal (due to very few having the capability to run at the suggested optimal range).
Maybe Sony could get this to work with the split frames thing they suggested to hit 120fps, and 1080p OLED ain't too shabby, hope they show something at E3.
For me, true AR is physically based using pro...
The did quite a bit here...

2GB VRAM is perfect for 1080p/60fps
I clearly used the term "next-gen" figuratively, amazed you didn't catch that, especially in context.
I'll put it plainly for you. The large increase in graphical fadelity and performance I expected from 7th to 8th generation (the next generation lol) didn't really happen, it did however when moving to PC.
You were concentrating on the term and not what it meant in the context of what I was saying, nothing to do with generations of PC, ...
