Just googled Kinect adventures hahaha, this is freaking retarded. When i said Adventure i ment third person view games like:

Batman AA, uncharted, Tombraider, Assassins creed.

Waiting on the next gen FPS, RTS, MMO, Adventure game, racing on the kinect lol :P

I dont see how Kinect will cater to any of those genres.

Why not just drop the price of games slightly so people are more motivated to buy the game instead of getting it second hand. Higher volume sold will = more profits.

Both these companies release their financials for the share holders to see. There is no way they can hide their profits or losses. Check their financials its clear both of them are yet to recover the losses they have incurred this generation.

Please realise now is an easy going time in the Consoles cycle, because investment for the Xbox 360 has already been made.

Initial R&D for the console costs alot of money.

Consoles sold initially are sold at a loss (which is not the case now).

Software sales are low initially due to smaller user base.

Now factor in that all the above points i mentioned will need to occur when the next Xbox launches, at which point...

For the sake of console gamers i would sincerely hope Sony doesnt use an Intel part. Intel gave up on Larabee because it couldnt keep up with AMD and Nvidia.

Black ops wont be any better, both Activision and EA are actively trying to milk the consumer base as far as possible. Be prepared to shell out 60usd for Black ops and another 30- 45usd for 2-3 DLC releases. Most of which will be maps you already played in MW1, MW2.

Personally i dont see a point in purchasing this game. BC2 just rolled out few months back. EA is already talking about BF3.

Yea but some of us only game on PC. A 24inch 3D monitor reasonablly priced without glasses would be a day one purchase from me.

Question is how many of them buy games? Since all of us know Wii is filled with shovelware. All those casuals Nintendo sold a Wii to, do they keep buying new games? I know core gamers end up buying 20-30 games by the end of the year.

Gotta second that, Games like starcraft, warcaft 3, CS are still doing very well.

3yr old games like Team Fortress 2, which are essentially dead on console are doing very well on PC.

Modding only adds value for money, plenty of that on the PC platform.

One of the reasons Consoles may not be getting mods, Activision made alot of money from the console base selling DLCs. If modding was allowed then the DLC sale would take a hit.

Runs great on my dual core laptop and my quad core I7.

Hardware required to run First person shooters in 1080 @ 60fps doesnt cost much. Tomshardware recently made a PC for 400usd. which runs MW2 in 1080p and 70FPS.

400usd isnt alot more then current consoles.

Its obvious the consoles are too dated to handle these resolutions, optimisations alone will never get consoles to perform even like entry level pcs these days.
