Doesn't Old Snake wear a snuggie in the opening of MGS4? I think so! Snake was onto it before we all were!!
Great podcast, guys. and, ftw, snuggies are not my forte, dammit.
I seriously can't wait to pick this game up. So many good games... so little money... need...to...beat someone... up... gah!
This is great news. I think, like XBL cards, this is a great alternatives for those who dont have a credit card or just don't feel safe using it. This was definitely a good move on Sony's behalf.
Do you have any idea how many times I beat my cousin in the head with that remote? I seriously believe you can replace brick with NES remotes. The thing withstands erosion and physical abuse with no problem.
but hard as buffalo balls, nonetheless. lol
Shame indeed... lol
The game's controls were a little iffy at first touch. But once that's down, the game is a good run-through. I thought the story was solid, the graphics were decent, and the gameplay was pretty good as well. Too many reviewers crapped on this game. I thought it was a solid game. It wasn't the greatest of the Star Wars games but it sure held its own. Plus... Gaelen (the main character) would pwn anyone and everyone in the Star Wars universe. Luke would be laid to waste... psh Yoda caugh...
Lego Batman seems fun as hell. I totally liked the Star Wars ones and the Indiana Jones was o.k. Can't wait to give this a whirl.
As much as it sucks to have everything reset, Bungie knows what they're doing. They are the kings of matchmaking. I believe that a lot of games can learn from their system. I might get some disagrees here, but I seriously think that their system has, and will, pioneer a lot of future online titles. There's a lot to be learned from these guys.
Betas are nothing but glorified demos for the lucky few who can test them ahead of time. I agree with Darkseider in that these are just secure means of getting their games out there and testing them in the real-world. But, obviously, testing doesn't always seem to prepare what _can_ happen. Look at Socom: Confrontation, for example.
The majority Gamer mags have become way too inflated with fanboyism. And I couldn't agree more with any magazine that contains the name of a console. It's bound to overhype their first party titles. I would rather wait until the games come out, usually, and then review the game(s) myself. Nothing's better than personal preference.
Is he now? *Goes and looks for Starcraft to install* I haven't played in a couple of months... might be a bit rusty, but I'm up for a play or two.
Awesome Podcast. Welcome to the new member, Max. Wasn't a fan of Too Human that much. It got repetitive after a while.
The thing doesn't look that "slim" to begin with. Maybe "Xbox Slim-er" or something would be right. Looks good, though.
I can assure you that lack of funding can, indeed, add to the egregious decline of academics in our country (the United States). How can a students learn anything when there are 10 books for a class of 30+? When students aren't given the tools and opportunity to progress intellectually because they live below or equal to middle class, how can you expect them to learn anything? So, yes, funding DOES play a big role.
I hate to disagree, but movies back in the day (80's and early 90's) were just as bad if not worse. Like the movies of today, there are some that were great (The Dark Knight, Lord of The Rings, etc.) and some that were just completely over-hyped nuisance (Transformers, I Am Legend). But the fact of the matter is that CG has improved, very much so, the experience of movies and has reduced the costs of making them.
Can you imagine having that scene in LoTR where about 5000 soldiers/orcs...
I seriously had to stop reading that article. Once I saw that this tard couldn't place commas, apostrophes, or even spell, I just had to stop.
"I personally fell that right now the Xbox 360 is running low on exclusives right now so Sony have the advantage in this department right now."
These are the sentence structures they teach immigrants NOT to write in community college. Classic.

Those games sure would benefit. Especially Killzone 2. You know, especially with the invisible-non-existent motion sensors on the 360 controller.
Get over yourself. Yes the 360 controller pwns for FPS, without a doubt. But MGS4? You're out of your mind... next thing you're going to say is that God of War 3 would benefit from it too, right?

Well said, my friend. Well said.
Agreed. CoD4 is a great game all around (hence why it won so many awards). But Infinity Ward does lack in maintaining or addressing issues that still, to this day, plague the multiplayer.
