It's bad enough that we get ridiculous deductions from our paychecks. Let's take a look at what NYC'ers get taxed for:
- New York City Tax
- New York State Tax
- FICA Tax
- Social Security
- Federal
and now a proposal for download tax. Damn cross-eyed governor. Maybe he should get his eye fixed so he can _see_ why it would be stupid to implement such a thing. This country can kind of seem like something from the book 1984.
I would also prefer to have Achievements to stay gaming related, personally...
I so want that Proton-pack that dude is carrying in the back. The interview was pretty cool. The dude gave so much details of the game, and sounded so enthusiastic, that it actually has me looking forward toward the game. Damn Ghostbusters... I loved 'em like crazy growing up.
Going old school? Not always a bad thing. I was actually thinking about Rockstar releasing another top-view GTA with enhanced graphics. The first couple of GTA's were crap loads of fun.
I'm definitely happy to hear that they won't be incorporating any multiplayer options to this game. A lot of games nowadays tend to add in unneeded multiplayer modes which tend to mess up the experience. You can't really do nothing multiplayer-esque for this game, honestly. Which kind of makes me question what God of War III is going to be doing.
Splatterhouse looks awesome. I was a rabid fan of it for the Sega Genesis. Can't wait to see what the next-gen version does.
Prototype is gonna be an awesome game. Looking forward to its release.
"lol. This has to be the most pathetic attempt at journalism. Your points are not only ridiculously ignorant, but fail in whatever you're trying to say. Let's get something straight before perpetually "comparing" Gears of War 2, Half-Life and Killzone 2. How can Killzone 2 rip anything off of Gears of War when *everything* in Gears had been done before? Cover system? Check. Four-man party? Check. Lack of weapons? Check.
You're making seem as if Gears of War innovat...

I think, sooner or later, indie developers will become a the new trend of game development. It would be awesome if, like Xbox and the XNA, Sony offered a similar dev tool for enthusiasts to create their own games and share them via PSN. Let's see what happens.
from Ensemble studios, the developers of Age of Empires. They are known for making great games, so I'm not going to even try poking at Halo Wars until it's out. The game *looks* good and, so far, people are saying it plays well also. Can't wait for the thing to come out.... sad that Ensemble had their doors closed... such a great dev studio.
I would have to agree with you there. In the scale of logic, the screaming, self-righteous nonsensical gamer outweighs the logical more moral gamer. It all starts with the community. Intelligent discussions have become nothing but an understatement, sadly.
Good one, Jenzo. Everyone knows that it's the infamous <insert name here>.
It's called a conspiracy. >_>
Remember folks, these are personal opinions and not something that should be taken that seriously until you yourself play the game. The point of a review is to share a ***personal*** point of view of a game. Metal Gear Solid 4 got 80's from numerous sites (EuroGamer, Edge, Wired, GameDaily, etc). it doesn't mean that it was a bad game. MGS4 is raking in awards, for crying out loud.
KillZone 2 is going to kick a$$. It is already known and it has been expressed in earlier build...
Is that those "sites" or "people" you are referring to aren't taking quotes and/or bullets and writing their own version at times; it's been taken word for word. Everyone nowadays does the whole "taking an idea and turning into their own" thing. But when big-boy sites take an exact editorial, news, whatever they should cite it... it's the basics of journalism and writing. Cite your work. If the news is from a source, then state it is so. It's not ok to stea...
I've noticed big name sites constantly taking from the smaller sites without citing/crediting the sources. Pretty lame way to do things. It's been getting ridiculous lately.
Not saying that I never buy from there, but sometimes you just get your consciousness telling you not to do it. As is something wrong might happen. I remember two years ago some douche kid bought a PS3 off an auction on eBay and was sent like $250k by mistake. Why can't I get that lucky? Jeez.
Chess will never ever get old.
Like a PSP battery I bought last year. The thing held like a two hour charge and then died completely after like a month. In the event I could afford a trip to China, I will go over there and avenge my PSP battery.
has to be the lighting. It is the most gorgeous feat of Killzone 2 and gives a more "realistic" feel to the game. Shoot a gun and look at the lighting it produces... astounding.
