How can anyone take this site seriously? lmao Nail in the coffin? Are you kidding me? He's judging this based on a firmware update that needs bug fixes like a couple before that... nice. Well, since this is a 'nail in the coffin' for the PS3, someone get me a sledgehammer and some of those nails they used to crucify Jesus; the 360 needed some once this year started.

btw, people need to find better things to post about. It seems sites are really desperate for hits nowadays...

Are you kidding me? You're thinking that adding rumble support to a game is going to take tens of thousands of lines of code? Seriously. COD4 is, without a doubt, a great game both offline and online. The fact still stands, though, that they are lazy developers. Not to incorporate rumble almost a YEAR into the game's life cycle is pretty sad. People can argue all they want and say "But they're working on other games..." ... yea and so was NaughtyDog when they released a RUMBLE...

I waited a couple of months for this feature... a couple of more days for a more polished version is not really a big deal. I'm just glad to see that Sony reacted as fast as they did. Shows how much they really care to get things straightened out asap.

Of course you will always get people, like Bruceongames, who will sit there and try to belittle PlayStation supporters and the Sony brand itself because of their tremendous success. Let me say this; Gaming, before the PS1 hit the market, was just a hobby. After the PS1, gaming became entertainment.

Just like TheTwelve said: "I've seen it all. The big guy on the block is just an easy target to shoot at, and also good for getting hits." which is absolutely 100% true. ...

But since MS won't change, or even consider, the Arcade model, maybe they should consider dropping the price on their overpriced HDD's. I mean, seriously, $90.00 for a 20GB HDD is way overpriced considering that 100GB SATA drives (There are even some 200GB for $39.99 -

There are still tons of PS1 titles that I want to play and have released on the PSN before Sony releases PS2 titles to the network. Vagrant Story is one of them.

Hmm.. so steal? Hmm... from what I can remember, the Wii and the PS3 both have different "motion sensing" technologies hence why Nintendo can't sue them for it. The motion sensing "controller" was developed by someone at Acclaim which Nintendo then "borrowed" and which is why it's currently being fought in court. The first controller design had nothing to do with motion sensing. lol... it was more of keeping the more "ergonomic" familiar controls fro...

lol... out of that entire list, three games are due this year. Gears 2, Fable 2, and Forza 3. Mass Effect 2 doesn't have a release date yet, Alan Wake has been pushed back for early 2009, nex-gen Tomb Raider has not been confirmed for 360 exclusivity... Yea, one great game being released this year on the 360. Let's look at what the PS3 has done:

1) GT5 Prologue (which will be completed in December and, I'm positively sure, is going to obliterate Forza)
2) MGS 4 (the r...

Xbox took about the same to 'copy' Wii and Sony with a "Motion Sensing Controller". Hmm... do I smell spite somewhere in here? Seems like pro-360 users are kind of a little jealous that PS3 owners are getting something for free that they've spent $150 on... and wait, doesn't that mean that, in reality, they spent more on the 360 than they would have on a PS3? Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to irony; irony, say hello to 360 owners.

An exta $150.00 for. Yea. Xbox fanboys will always find something to say to try to belittle the Playstation community. lol. It's sad and pathetic. Here's something for you ladies:

***You're paying for a service which is free for PS3 owners (so in reality, you payed more for a system with less features)***

Ask yourselves this, why are you paying $50.00 a year for when the matchmaking system on the 360 is P2P and not dedicated? Please don't say that you're payin...

As far as I know, Kojima's parents created him, and their parents created them and so forth. Unless I'm missing that Hideo Kojima means "Jesus Christ" in Japanese... I doubt God had a role in creating MGS4... it's too perfect of a game. And we all know what God did to the platypus and the Dodo bird.

But is it me, or is the name _Halo_ just leaving a "meh" taste in your mouth?

is the man. I don't think God "itself" could make a better game if "it" even tried.

of how you "try" to upscale a DVD to High-Def, you won't get the same experience. Remember, next-generation high def formats not only offer a superb clarity in picture, but also uncompressed sound which is, by far, better than what standard DVD offers.

Fanboys would do and say anything to belittle Sony and their success. Take it as it is, ladies and gentlemen, Blu-ray was the victor and is taking place as the next-gen format. Deal with it. Paying $400 for a DLNA cer...

Bubbles for you... I'm not the only one who sees the difference. You can't say that because a movie was shot before 2003 that it won't look any better on Blu-ray as compared to DVD. Another example, besides the Queen Concert, would be BladeRunner.... 'nuff said.

Actually, according to the numbers, PS3 sales have been improving in Japan with a 17.79% increase as of May (and that's without the sales of MGS4). No one is really looking stupid but you, bud. It has sold over 2 million consoles... dwarfing 360 sales. Please make sure that you research before making yourself look ridiculous. Here are the numbers as per http://www.joysti...

Laws and regulations are just getting ridiculous nowadays. And it's going to keep getting like this until we decide to boycott this kind of behavior that governments and corporations try to force on us. Seriously, it's bad enough that ISP's don't credit us when their systems go down for 'maintenance' purposes around our area, but now this?

I'm already paying for a mediocre service that offers idiotic customer service reps... I hope that with this raise - which I'm pretty sure w...

I'm sorry, gnothe1, but you have to be the most delusional person I've seen post on N4G. If I offend you, then I apologize.

1. HDD isn't needed? Where are you planning to install and run the games that you download off of XBLA or PSN? Where are you planning to save your games? If you're a mediaphile, how would you store audio/video on your system? Are you kidding me? In this gaming era, an HDD is definitely needed. The fact that it was offered has given next-gen an advanta...

Here's a list. First starting with Mac. I'm a software engineer/network engineer. Been doing it for ten years and have been consulting small business to big business on the pros and cons of each OS.

The reason why Windows is so popular is because it's installed in EVERY single mainstream PC. From Dell to Packard Bell, Windows is the norm. So because consumers aren't offered an option to choose, the majority of the world conforms themselves with this. There's no OS X for PC ...
