Essentially, you propose that the government turn on the corporate lobbies that give politicians their jobs. Would be nice...
The 2nd sentence is what should have been the headline. And claiming that there is a specific way that headlines work is nonsense.
I can't tell anymore if people write things jokingly or they're just idiots.
Video games can not cure cancer. Not maybe. They cannot. But Video games can assist in finding a cure for cancer.
It looks so damn boring! The level design is practically nonexistent in the video I had seen.
Funny. Cuz all my PC games don't really have this problem.
I've been advocating for a quite a while now that companies like Nintendo, Sony, and Sega wait 2 generations before releasing an official console emulator on the PC to enable the preservation of those games.
But, but, but... exploitation.
Yea right. Maybe where you live. Around the Philadelphia area, there is one arcade I'm aware of, excluding the drunk fratboy collective that is Dave and Busters.
I'm conflicted by this one.
On one hand, they made DX HR which also had a negative reaction initially. This inspires confidence.
On the other hand, after DX HR released there was quite the employee exodus. That's why Thief 4 was delayed for so long. This inspires doubt.
Is any game scary? I've never been frightened by a game before. I enjoy horror games for the tension and the atmosphere, which this looks like it will deliver.
At least this reviewer was sensible enough to recognize that there is some merit to the game and rewarded it justly, instead of the ignorant 1/10 reviews on here.
Looks really, really good. The first one was an extremely pleasant surprise and one of teh few games I bothered to get a Platinum in when I still owned a ps3.
Oh? Hopefully this is a growing sentiment among game's journalists. Maybe I won't get so many damn downvotes and bubble losses when I rail on this crap in my posts.
No. I'm saying most PC gamers play with friends via a network. In ye olde tymes, we got together for LAN parties. Now we just go online.
Obviously some games exist that support split-screen gaming. I just think it's too niche for someone to write an article about it as if it's removal was that big of an issue.
Saints Row series > GTA IV
GTA III, VC, & SA >> Saints Row series
Hell, Bully, a game built exclusively on mini games, is better than the Saints Row series.
And no PC gamer cared. Who plays split screen on their PC?
A lot of these are only comparable because they're action RPG's. They don't share much else with Deus Ex, especially the original. System Shock 1 and 2 are the closest you're going to get but neither offer the extreme freedom of Deus Ex. Glad to see Vampire The Masquerade on there but sad to see Fallout 2 missing.
Unless you're just talking about the subject matter. In which case, good list! Might want to add Project Eden to it.
Can't wait to look at completion statistics. The game is a complete snore. If the character moved just slightly faster the game would be great.
Welcome to the modern review, where story matters more than anything else in a video game.
You usually get a paragraph and a half of actual game critique, then a page and a half talking about the storytelling.
There is only so much a person's hand can manage. Frankly, the old maxim if it ain't broke don't fix it applies here.
lol, I love how the one thing everyone seems to take away from their college psychology course is correlation, not causation.
