Another stealth game with a "focus" mechanic.
Remember when you had to slink around a level real slow, monitoring guard positions and what not. You had these awesome lean buttons to peek around corners. You could fire a noise arrow near a distant alcove to see if anybody was down there.
Now all I have to do is hit focus, and I can see right through walls. F this stuff.
Movies: Elysium has shades of cyberpunk built into a Stand on Zanzibar / Metropolis backdrop. Scott Derrickson, who was attached to the DXHR movie, is now working on an adaptation of When Gravity Fails. The Neuromancer film has also finally entered into production. Add to that Joe Cornish directing Snow Crash.
Books: William Gibson's upcoming book The Peripheral is 1/3 cyberpunk. The last great cyberpunk styled novel was called Alif The Unseen.

Nobody makes a decent Aliens game because nobody seems to want to explore it outside of the Colonial Marines.
You have no idea just how much Dead Space owes to the Alien franchise unless you read all the Dark Horse comics and even dabbled in the novels.
Unitology is lifted almost straight from those. There exists a cult-like church that worships the xenomorph and who believe that implantation by a facehugger = ascension.
The main character even has a psychic connection with an Alien queen, which acts much the same way a typical Marker does in the DS games.
What in god's name does all this cost?
I walked into a strip club. I was appalled by the sexist behavior proudly on display there and demanded that the entire enterprise be shut down on moral principle. What I didn't expect was for all the female strippers to run me out of town with pitchforks and torches.
Also a skill tree that isn't lame.

Let's hope they take a cue from Dark Souls and The Witcher series instead.
Shadowrun Returns had a pretty good leveling up system for that kind of game too.

Yet they sell 10x as much as other Valve games. I played the free demo on PC a long time ago, really did not understand the love it gained from gamers. Funny, I own every Valve game on Steam but this series.
After RDR success and MP3 failure, I think this game was pushed to the side. There will probably be a new Red Dead game before we ever see Agent again.

No. I don't. Seeing as how there is a new Zelda to accompany the 18th reissue of OoT. I'd like to play a new Oddworld game, but instead I keep getting reissues of old ones and not a single goddamn new one.
Great. Maybe talk them into making Oddworld a PC and Nintendo exclusive. Then you can actually make a new game instead of repackaging these old ones.
It will make at least $10,000 if Kickstarter fanfilm history is any indication. Seems people are willing to throw their money away on just about anything.
