"Let's facelift bar!" What does that even mean!?!? Seriously...anyone!?!?*L* Mods really need to do something. I'm tired of getting advertisements for these obvious knock offs in the comments section.
as soon as I saw the title....Colony Wars. There are people here that are probably too young to even know about the series. But, they were really fun games with pretty good story arcs as well. It just seems like people are not interested as much in fantasy worlds. People want "realism"...whatever that means. For me, give me space...give me fantasy...good characters...good story...something that I can't just learn about on the internet. (like modern warfare!?!?! game was decent.....
Although the Live series didn't take the competition serious until fans started switching from the series, I believe that it did drive them to try new things. Competition drives innovations. Lack of competition drives stagnation. If you look at the 2K series in the last 2 years. There is hardly a difference. Sure, IMO, it's still the best basketball game around. But, it didn't change much from 2k9 to 2k10. My hope is that Visual Concepts has had a fire lit under them from the slig...
first off I think the hype of it being a Halo killer backfired and killed reviews. Secondly, I would say that it was a good game. The AI was pretty advanced...there was flanking and cover fire (while other bots attempted to flank). The story was decent. Like I said, had it not been for the comparisons to Halo...it might have had a chance review-wise.
people might have the perception that Nintendo didn't do all that much at E3 this year. I know...it's the rehash issue all over again. But, when you think about it. That's what the die-hard Nintendo fans really want. They want the Kirby, DK, Zelda, Metroid, etc. Plus, Nintendo had been completely underwhelming at most of their previous E3 conferences. So, essentially Nintendo brought games that their fan base really wanted and the "surprise" of the 3DS. That's hard t...
I am as nostalgic as the next person about Nintendo. But, calling them the "king of innovation" might be a bit exaggerated. I will agree that they are willing to take chances on things like light guns, power gloves, virtual boys, and Wii's. Some are very effective from a sales perspective...and some aren't. My biggest issue is that they KNOW that they are sitting on a treasure chest of games that the average gamer (over 25 years old) have fond memories of. Thus, you get them...
The game looks okay. There are no real jaw-dropping graphics. But, the controls look to be tighter. That being said, controls is not ALL that the Live...or now Elite series needed to overcome the competition. I'm more concerned with whether or not the AI is up to par. I guess I won't judge it until I can get a real feel (demo) of it. I would love the competition in this market to keep 2K on it's toes. They dropped the ball a bit last year...so...who knows.
There used to be a gene on chromosome 7 of the human genome named Sonic the Hedgehog!!! They have since renamed them according to locations, functions, or proteins that they produce.
I think that your Metacritic limit will severely hinder your gaming experience. If we were all judged on that scale in high school...how many of us would have actually made it??? As for a solution, there are a couple. Game sharing is one. I have a group of gaming friends and we will actually send games to one another (we live in different locations) to try. It helps that our gaming tastes, aside from the AAA titles, are pretty different. Another would be gamefly. It's cheaper than a purch...
It's really only been a week. So, I'm guessing that they only fixed those immediate issues so that they might actually get some real feedback from the beta testers.
I can appreciate any developer stepping out and trying to include real world issues in the context of a gaming scenario. Not every game can or should be Mario Sunshine. Plus, just because a game touches on a subject or a theme that might be a bit heavy does not make it a drag to play. If I think about it in terms of movies or music, it is clear that there should be room for a variety of experiences in video gaming. This industry is still somewhat an infant in comparison to other forms of ente...
When there was forward movement in other Kinect games, it required the player to actually move the lower parts of the body (like the track & field styled game). This just seemed to be some slashing and arm waving motions. Either way, the game will probably sell like crazy because of the Star Wars effect.
I have...and while the graphics don't hold their value for the most part...the game play still remains classic. This is why so many companies, especially this year, have gone back to franchises that have that nostalgic quality. This is why Nintendo will always have a place in the industry. They have established franchises that are somewhat synonymous with their genre. You say platformer. You think Mario. You think adventure...you think Zelda. That being said, I am an older gamer. I rememb...
BOTH!!!
about this game. On one hand, the plot is certainly intriguing. It seems like a modern day take on The Heart Of Darkness (novel by Joseph Conrad), which was then used as source material for Apocalypse Now. But, then there is the game play aspect...which appears to be fairly common. Although, the saving grace might be those split second decisions that have to be made. I guess I will be cautiously optimistic about it until a demo appears.
I think it got pretty good grades graphically because it was faithful to it's source material. The cel shading made the game really look like the cartoon series. I was impressed with that. As for the game, entirely mediocre.
that was out after the unicorn...those things are f'ckin creepy...oh and what the hell is a Justin Bieber!?!? *LOL*
I think that you, and other Christians, are suffering the same fate as the Muslims. You are basically held as equals to the crazy, extremist views that permeate our media. Extremists are the people use religion in attempt to justify actions, thoughts, and behavior patterns that are far from the intent of most religions...which is basically a universal love, caring, and understanding of all things big and small on this earth.
In the end, nobody really knows what is to come. Some have ...
Oh...the same one that would suggest that a guy with not one, but 2 360's has some sort of agenda against Microsoft. Sure, he might have posted this video hastily (before investigating all possible reasons for the console to have stopped working). But, to suggest that people have a herd mentality for believing that a 360 could fail is absurd. All consoles fail at some point. It has been shown time and time again that the 360 seems more susceptible to failures both out of the box and after...
It does get interesting when the 35 or 40 cars on track are all gathered up going 180+ mph into a crazy banked turn. Sure, it looks pretty standard. But, that's because these guys are pro drivers. Take a close look at the clearance between cars when they are running 2 or 3 wide and there is usually less than a foot between them (front, back, and sides). They are like one bump, wind gust, tire deflation, or driver mistake from a horrific crash.
