It's not just saying that gamers don't see innovations. It's saying that it is hard to see the innovations because it is so closely scrutinized by gamers since it is the only game out. To be honest, who's fault is that. THIS is one of the best cases for "be careful what you wish for because you just might get it". Madden is now the one eyed man in the land of the blind...you know...he will always be king. It NEEDS the competition to be great. Otherwise, it just turns...

Wow...that's pretty pathetic. I could take clips of pastors speaking about the Bible and turn it into something that it is not. Rainman??? Really?? You do realize that they are talking about the movie right? He was a savant. They are really making a metaphor comparing their skills in hip hop to a savant that was able to perform calculations without difficulty and real effort. There are some inconvenient truths about industry that breed this Illuminati conspiracy. Some, which are true (pow...

with what you have said. From a financial standpoint I am sure that they are NOT where they would like to be. However, from a trending and future revenues standpoint. They are probably pretty happy. Regardless of the bravado at the beginning of the release of the PS3, Sony had to be hesitant to release a gaming product at the price point of $600...while STILL taking a loss. That was a huge risk. I believe that Sony was fully aware of this and hoped that brand loyalty would drive a portion of ...

I agree with your concerns for the new Cole. He kinda resembles a suburban outfitter model. He looks like he would be more comfortable in front of a camera lens in some cheesy American Eagle commercial. I don't know if I could see him truly being evil and not just full of tween emo angst. *LOL* Either way, it's not a game killer by far. Just an observation.

Every industry, whether it be music, television, movies, or video games, comes to this point where people are looking for someone to blame for it's decline in terms of quality. I believe that you nailed it. Corporations infuse the industry with billions and billions of dollars...but at a cost. They turn the creativity and innovation into cookie cutter, formulaic money machines. I have no issues with capitalism and making money. However, these parasitic entities that attach to the hottest ...

the casual market will ever really die. It's the driving force for revenue. While core gamers attempt to force the industry toward innovation and evolution, the casual market just buys what they are told. Think about it. If it weren't for the casual gamers, why would we have horrible movie games, Hannah Montana games, etc? These games are low cost, low risk, and relatively high reward. Plus, the casual market has a larger pool of people to pull from. Yes, they are a revolving pool. Bu...

They are probably trying to keep themselves from being overwhelmed with bugs from both consoles at once. The PS3 version NEEDS this time because of the fact that online code has to be written specifically for it (like all PS3 online titles). It had some pretty major issues upon release...which took upwards of a week to fix.

I agree that kids in general need better role models than they have. But, I don't agree that HHG wouldn't be one because of his perceived lack of command over the English language. Hip Hop, as a culture, is about defining who you are through the expression of a "coded" language which is slang. If HHG were totally inept, in terms of communication, I highly doubt that he would be able to secure the multitude of interviews with the studio big wigs. They would dismiss him as som...

While I agree somewhat with your assertion that there are many black actors that "play along". I have to point out that most of the times it is a foot in the door. There was a time where the only parts that blacks were expected to play were stereotypical. Morgan Freeman has payed his dues, and also played some stereotypical roles as well. Eddie Murphy, whom you mentioned, is one of the most prolific black actors in Hollywood. But, he had to pretty much produce most of his movies jus...

That game...with the dense fog...and the static on the radio...just pretty intense. You never really wanted to take a step, but you had to. I still love that intensely creepy feeling. I wish more games had that type of scare instead of the RE type jump out or show up behind you type scares.

RPG, Puzzle, and Action...simply because HR does some of each one in it's own unique way. The RPG elements have more to do with the adventure and progression of the game more so than stats and item collection. Puzzle elements come in when you can complete each scenario in a variety of different ways. Of course, the action comes in when the scenario forces you to fend of various foes or chase one through a crowded market. I respect your opinion, but I can see that you could be seen as bein...

in this industry of clones and sequels can go a LONG way with gamers. I think that is what HR did. It took a HUGE risk and, to an extent, it was a success.

there is. Give us the same types of compelling stories. I knew what I was getting with HR because I was a fan of Indigo Prophecy. Both very cool and interesting stories. I am an action junkie as much as the next guy. But, I really love a great story. If it's implemented well with the game play. It is a great game.

You kinda owned yourself. If you read the comments of your supplied video you will see that the person that posted the video says clearly that this was the ONLY time that lag happened to him that night! I have had lag in just about EVERY online game that I've played. The question is...does it happen EVERY game or just once in a 3 or 4 hour gaming session!?!? I'm not fanboy raging right now. I am just pointed out that if you look hard enough on youtube for "proof", you can pr...

You act as though a PSP2 without 3D support wouldn't be worth a purchase. By that same logic then a Wii or 360 without support wouldn't be worth it. See...3D is a bullet point. Something that Nintendo wants to focus on. I have no issues with that because it seems cool. But, don't make it seem like it should be STANDARD from now on in handhelds. I hope that Sony doesn't even try to touch that tech on handheld and just gives us a powerful handheld with 2 analog nubs. That way th...

They could be happy with their portion of the handheld pie. Nobody...not even the mighty (at the time) Sega was able to bite into the handheld pie like the PSP. 60 million sold and counting is no slouch. No, it's not DS numbers. But, this is still the first generation for Sony in the handheld realm. My bet is that they don't try to compete on the same grounds. Sony will probably continue their more adult slant on the handheld. Not saying that the DS is for kids. But, if you look at th...

and the squeal line was classic!!! Apparently, some people are holding on to their console bias even in the face of humor! You pretty much nailed the concept of the targeted ad campaign. Oh, and I can't hate on Justin Bieber. He has such girlish charm and pixie-like appeal. *LMAO* Is it really his fault that we haven't taught our younger generation what REAL music is!?!?

With what you are saying. I picked it up in the spirit of competition and innovation. I am not disappointed in the least with my purchase. It is the most physically sound sports game I have ever played. Sure, there are small bugs (that are supposed to be ironed out in a patch). But, overall, Natural Motion has created the foundation for a great game. No surrounding a player with five would be tacklers only to see him escape magically. No suction blocking. No 10 yard warps to the ball by defen...
