Anyone know if the full matchmaking changes have rolled out everywhere? Had any experience with it to know if it is, actually, improved in any way?
I loved playing this game with my friend, but we both burned out hard after being habitually put into games where we died in the first firefight we got into nearly every damn time. To be fair, we did primarily play Duos, but nearly every mode felt as if we were over matched. I'm not going to say I was great, but after 400 ho...
If it was like a pallet of them, maaaaybe? But this? Not even remotely. It literally had 2 lines about the actual Steelbooks, and the rest was - with apologies to the author - pretty much filler to make the title stretch into an article.
Story is based on a random video of what seems to be a garbage man finding about 5 Steelbooks. I mean, that many could have been kind of anything. 5 could have even been thrown away by accident. You can see Power A boxes with them, so proba...
Every now and again, I wonder if these articles actually come from an author who visits N4G and sees comments. I've read other comments that, after a day or two, have an article crop up that seems to echo those sentiments.
In this specific scenario, I made a comment about this to someone else (here, if anyone's remotely interested lol: https://tinyurl.com/yeksua4... ). Timing just felt strang...
You chose the best options from Xbox, and then one of the worst with Forspoken for PS5. You don't think that's being incredibly disingenuous? And do you think those games you mentioned will look just as good, with no compromises, on the S as the X?
It's really not an issue with your English - which, for a second language, is pretty good from what I've seen - it's just the loss of tone from being online. I was a little confused too, at first. But by the time I got to "but of course it's not", I could tell you were layering on the sarcasm. I mean, the last 2 sentences made that pretty dang clear, so not sure how so many people missed it honestly lol.
Not sure if this is a related issue, but one of the more recent PS3 firmware updates removed the ability to move PS1 games to PS Vita entirely. Which is just an absolute boneheaded move IMO. Just pushes even their legitimate customers towards CFW, which puts people that much closer to piracy.
Regarding the not showing in transaction history, though, was it just on the PS3 you couldn't see it? Have you checked on the web portal for that history, or double checked any of ...
You are correct that most of them moved on, obviously, but many people still play it - myself included.
I enjoy going back to old games, and Sony hasn't graced us with any kind of backwards compatibility for games pre-PS4. I actually even buy PS3 games still from eBay and the like to add to my collection. This is part of the reason right here - downloads are just not guaranteed in any fashion.
The servers will go down at some point (likely in our li...
Not sure if this has any bearing at all, but it did make me think of some of the NASA logos/imagery I've seen pop up here and there over the years. Google NASA rainbow, you'll see some examples like this: https://tinyurl.com/nasacol...

...that is truly a puzzling response. I don't think that asking if a protagonist requires sexuality is in any way analogous to saying that people don't think about sex, or some weird thing about not having sex and everything on Earth becoming extinct.
Sure, I think of sex. Sure, women think of sex. In general, I think we can agree, women think about sex quite a lot less than men do. But do you also not think there are SOME people out the...
Yeah, Switch is worse in initial capacity, but I think Xbox is worse given the price issue.
In fact, I'm a little surprised that MS is still not getting a lot of pushback about that proprietary SSD choice. $220 for a 1TB expansion, and $400 for 2TB on XBOX this gen is absolute highway robbery. Buying a Series S and a 1TB card puts you over the X's MSRP, which is mind boggling given that it is supposed to be the value proposition.
At least it seems...
I'm sure it will be refined, but nothing extreme. I'm guessing resolution and framerates will be identical, and perhaps mild graphical effects will get a bump. The Wii U is no longer a concern, which is helpful, but we've not really seen anything to indicate it can go too much higher than what we saw the first time around, and I don't feel like we've gotten a lot of examples from Nintendo making massive engine upgrades during the same generation.
........does she need to have sexuality? Is sexuality a primary requirement for game protagonists? Write off a lot of those games where the male leads lack sexuality?
Man, that's harsh. There are game sequels I haven't liked as much as the first, or even outright disliked, but never so much that I pretty much was hopeful/ready for a series to outright die because of it.
It's odd, but I agree. I *loved* the first one. I bought HFW on release day - a very, very rare thing for me to do. And while I enjoyed it, it didn't hit the same as the first one. It felt bigger, but lesser? And when they gave you puzzle rooms to figure out, but Aloy started talking to herself seconds later about the answer, I wanted to smack the game designer.
I still beat it, still enjoyed it. Looking forward to the expansion, and I'm hoping that captures so...
If you're playing it on a device without DLSS, it's gonna be rough. To get viable performance on my 3060ti, I had to drop resolution, use Performance or Ultra Performance, depending on resolution or RT bounces, and so on. Mainly it was a game of compromises to get it running around 60fps. It ran *abysmally* on default settings. Just check the reviews on that game, still mixed with a lot of performance complaints. It does support some basic non-DLSS based upscaling, but I have a feelin...
I mean, that's pretty much true across the board. Most of us don't have the self-restraint to hold on to our convictions (see: https://tinyurl.com/2hhgjmw... ). People don't buy things for all kinds of reasons, from game quality to company issues. Just because it isn't widespread or might not bring about change has nothing to do with individual action. Not sure if I'm misreading - sorry if I am - but it ...
"After a couple of surprisingly stellar installments last year, this proved a wake-up call – a reminder that Sony doesn’t really know what to do with this format, and it’s had more than enough time to figure it out."
which was preceeded by
"It’s perhaps worth underlining that the platform holder did, admittedly, deliver exactly what it said it would: the presentation revolved around Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, and there were a s...
Hilarious they see what the market wants, and instead of making more things like that, kills it and is trying to funnel people towards a worse prodcut because GaaS trash makes them more money. Why did they even remake the game and sell it for a buck in the first place then?! The version they're killing hasn't even been out a year.
Also, completely removing from Google Play, but renaming on Apple? Why removing on one and keeping on the other?
I don't know, I used to like him. But there was a point a while back where he felt overly critical in some places, and lax in others. And really felt like he railed hard against...I think it was the PS5 when it launched? Like, weirdly negative about stuff. I haven't checked him out in a while. Perhaps I'll poke my head over there again for a vid or two, see if (for my tastes, at least) he's become a bit more even keeled again.

"But the Bungie/Sony deal seems to have resulted in the best terms of all. Not only is Destiny staying multiplatform and not becoming a Sony exclusive, but Bungie has said it will remain independently operated and be able to release its future new games and IPs multiplatform as well."
So, no, their next game will not be restricted by Sony in any fashion. I&...
