@ Lore Your response is fair enough, but I still feel like you haven't really outlined either what more mechanics they should add - a specific example - or a game you think does what you are saying that Sony games don't. You say "look to Japanese or Polish companies", so I imagine you have some examples of devs from those areas that do what you are looking for. It would be a great help for you to offer up a couple examples to help us better understand where you're coming...
1st, my reply was not about the article, it was about the comment regarding the misguided belief the article was stating there'd be no difference between this and next gen. That was it. That said...
The NVMe SSD speeds are game changers for this generation. Epic didn't make UE5 solely able to be used by PlayStation, you can pretty much assume that they will get similar functionality out of both systems - this is a 3rd party engine, after all. I had already seen the ...
It's always a little jarring/entertaining to hear Reedus talk without his gruff accent.
Sadly, no. This has really proven how many people on this site read ONLY the headline. I thought most people at least also read the blurb underneath, but that's clearly not the case. How can anyone comment on anything with so little information? lol that's just crazy to me.
I would suggest that your view might mean you need to look elsewhere. For example, I find that - while I love my Switch hardware - there's tons of other things that led me to the realization that Nintendo and I aren't a great fit anymore. I'm likely not gonna get whatever comes next from them. Perhaps that's Sony for you.
Sony has tons of single player narrative games, but they aren't Ubisoft clones. UC4, GOW, Ghosts of Tsushima, Horizon, The Last Guardi...
Awkwardly titled article, but the sentence below the title outlines he meant between the two next gen systems. It's crazy. I knew people didn't read the articles, but I'm realizing how many people truly only read the headlines lol
He wasn't downplaying next gen, he was saying the different between the two next gen systems won't be too different. All ya had to do was read the one accompanying sentence below the headline lol.
I've played all the games and I *still* don't know what's going on. My playing, or not playing, this won't have any bearing on my ability to understand KH4 lol
Yes, tell them you torrented all their games and then demand they make a new game for you :-p
They've got Tesuya Nomura at Square, they can do better. Final Fantasy XIII-3.14159: Lightning's Reduxiliary Remembrance.
Consequences? For what? And is this insulting and "what they get", or is it lighthearted fun that shouldn't bother anyone.
@flagged Well...duh lol. But read what purple said. He was talking about Astro Bot being free and pre installed, so I was clarifying that GTA 5 - while having a free component for PS5 - was not entirely free.
Pretty weak for Swtich at least. Since Nintendo games basically never go on sale, those are what I was interested in. If it's Nintendo 1st party, it isn't included. No Xenoblade (2 or DE), no SMM2, no Link's Awakening...laaaame.
GTA5 will not be pre-installed, nor is it totally free. GTA5 Online will be standalone from GTA5 proper, and Online will only be free to PS5 owners within the first 3 months. If you want the full game, you'll have to cough up for it.
This thing is so futuristic, people from nearly 19,000 years into the future have to be consulted.
I did too, and it really did make some of those games look even better than initially shown. I think R&C and Horizon gained the most from the extra clarity. Can't wait to see some of these games natively on my TV with HDR.
Definitely a great trailer. I mean, I wish they showed a little bit more of how the game actually plays, but it was interesting and well edited.
If you can actually send it to one of your friends and not have to have them do something weird like sign in on your system, that's great. That's pretty consumer friendly. If not, I still think the point stands - though that downvote ratio seems to indicate I'm in a minority here lol.
I still think it's probably a net gain overall, but I can see some potential minor pitfalls.
Like where the 1st person to setup the console might not actually be the true "owner" - say, an excited kid/teen setting up the family Xbox, or a room mates/siblings who have split the cost or something - and those games will be claimed to the first account who logs in ("I clicked claim, I didn't know it would be *my* account only" lol).
LoU2 is at 95, BotW is at 97...it's a bit of an exaggeration to say 2 points is a gulf between two games and act like it's out of reach or something. Personal opinions aside, aggregate scores show these games are effectively equal in terms of the general consensus. Though I suppose if you think 2% higher aggregate review scores means a 2% better game, and your enjoyment is tied to those scores and you can feel 2% then I guess it might be an ocean to you lol.
As far...
