OpenGL isn't DirectX though.
I can't really see the use of a normal map on a screen that small.
what people need for their handhelds atm is probably a bigger storage unit rather than this actually.
I would get a psp if the was like a harddrive built into the thing that was easily-removed and with usb-i/o.
I'll play this game.... when it has been modded into submission.
Just because she's got huge tracts of land does'nt make her a well made character though.
If she was removed the game would be even better. I mean, Capoeira, wtf?
I say, keep Eddy or Christie and change their styles to something like brazilian jujutsu, would fit so much better in the game.
I mean, they did a complete overhaul on Jin, why can't the same be done to the most annoying character in the franchise, even Panda/Kuma is a more serious made character than christie imo ...
I find it amusing that he indirectly/involuntary states that he doesn't know jack sh1t about fighters with that SCIV bullepoint he wrote.
Also, I think my IQ just dropped by reading that stuff.
Is it me or is it a trend for inexperienced gamers/gaming journalists to try to influence the hive mind of random gamers nowadays with daft opinions?
wth, Why can't I write "sh1t" properly if it's my honest opinion? this is the internet, not Kindergarten.
This one goes to eleven
Does anyone know if it will have mouse/keyboard-support?
Cool if it's true. Played the hell out of the original on snes, really fun game.
i just hope that it does'nt turn to be like the later MK-titles, and by that I mean crap.
Go Rare!
A remake of FF VI would also be very very very wellcome. :)
Hahaha, cheap and crappy joke-characters ftw!
It took skill to play as Bosconovic, i remember that I never succeeded to stand up more than a second or two with ol' doc. :D
I do hope they add some kind of homage/easteregg off Gon and Bosconovic in future tekken-titles.
Here's hoping for a sidescrolling co-op platformer featuring gon and Bosconovic as a bonus-minigame in T6!
This is the one game I'll get a ps3 for... or steal an arcade booth.
As long as they're hard and cheap boss character regarding the gameplay I'm pleased.
I really liked that they upped the ante in Tekken 5 with Jinpachi, best final boss in a 3d-fighting game in a very long time.
Always attacking with cheap-ass moves is what made him so good and frustrating to beat, good thing he wasn't a playable character. ;)
That's because it runs on a modified version of the old ID Tech 4/Q3-engine, it's seriously outdated by todays standards.
But it was a design decision so that the game could be played on computers with both very low and high specs.
I've heard it's really fun to play though with some really interesting gameplay mechanics.
yeah, I know.
A lot of really good games don't sell very well because of the lack of publicity or if it's not the 100th sequel. Compare Zelda with Okami for instance. I think Okami outshined Twilight princess on many levels but it did'nt sell much in comparison. :(
But I don't think money is n real issue for Nintendo at the moment. They're taking very few risks nowadays and the DS still prints money, they're not exactly low on the yen.
Everyone should play this game, it's something completely different. :)
I don't think money is a problem for them since Team-ico is a first party developer, but the more people that buy and play team-ico's games the bigger the chance is they will create more awesomeness in the future.
Absolutely agree
Grandia too, awesome games. A little cheesy on the storyside but the battlesystem is beyond awesomeness.
Cookie for you
...
I am sadly forced to agree.
We need more Barrets, Sabins and FF7-cids.
Also, more antagonists like Kefka.
You're right.
But personally I think it's a waste of talent on Ninteno's side when most of their very talented internal teams are focusing on dogz 'n poniez and rushed DS-titles instead of well made new ip's.
I mean, nothing wrong with those kind of games if it's you bag, but Nintendo are making a buttload of money right now on both the Wii and DS but they're still playing very safe and have done so for some time now.
They really should loosen up and spend some of tha...
it's called irony. :)
