I think it would be cool if the CoD-team would play around a little more and try out different directions regarding the game-universe on the titles.
Future warfare could be cool, but I think the term warfare is universal and it doesn't matter what time or place it is.
I'd like to see a CoD-title take place in older historical scenarios or maybe in some kind of sci-fi/surreal/fantasy-univers e.
A stylized World War 1-scenario for instance.
After all, war never ch...
I have to agree.
I'm all for style, but if you're going for a distinct look with celshading or an accentuated outline it should be unique and pleasing for the eye.
It feels rather inconsistent when they add an outline to something that looks like a semi-oilpainting-postprocessin g-look, makes the characters look out of place in contrast to the environments, imo.
I think it would be a lot better if the outline was removed, the white outline on the shadows looks a little wonky...
Suh-weet *intarweb high-five* :D
As a gamer, i think it's unfair and tedious to announce a game a very long time before it's released. And afterall, most pepole probarly like to be suprised by awesome games that appears from out of the blue.
But as a 3D Artist, I think it's good if the game is announced as early as possible, as long as the title is in a representable shape.
You can't put anything in your resume unless there's been an official announcement of a title. This is rather important in this...
That was a lame list.
I agree on the chrono-series though
Xenogears sequel
Bof 6
A next-gen Shin Megami Tensei
A proper sequel to the Seiken Densetsu/Secret of mana-franchise with awesome co-op, don't give me that Dawn of Mana-crap.
But most of all:
Grandia 4, made with an ff-sized budget.
I only play sports-titles that involves mutilation and/or drugs.
If I wan't to kick a ball I just go outside and do it, don't need a game for that.
Bring on a Speed ball 3 or a remake of Bill Lambert's Combat Basketball!
Everyone loses, death by Nuclear war. BOM!
Yes, you heard here first folks.
It's bound to be awesome!
I'd much better seen Mad World on a more advanced console with a standard controller though as well, seems like a nice step up from God Hand in the brawler-genre. :)
The pic screams crappy deviant art fanart and lulz.
I've never liked the KH-series.
I would've been really scared though if squeenix had approved such crappy artwork.
While I think that Gears of War 2 will look very purty and all that, Resistance 2 has A lot of stuff going on with 2 singelplayer campaigns, Dynamic levels, 60p multiplayer and 8player-coop.
I'm a graphics whore most of the time, but Resistance 2 has raised my eyebrows because of the almost insane and impossible gameplay feats they're going to implement.. it has piqued my interest even though I hate these kind of games.
Mouse/keyboard-support would be very welcome, Insomni...
Viva Piñata is awesome! :)
I like the charaters we've seen so far from kz2, they look really original compared to most other characters from similar games, imo.
Most of them look like drunken-veteran-hobos who've been dragged into a war against their will a second time around, it's awesome :)
especially mr-fücking-conwoy, he looks like he hasn't taken a shower in a while, dirty nails and all.
the sample that was released on the official f3-site was very un-fallouty IMO. :(
Compared to Mark Morgan's stuff it was rather crappy.
Inon Zur's stuff fits well to the BG/IWD games, but it sounds too epic and melodic to fit into the Fallout universe.
I wonder what happened to Mark Morgan/Snow, the soundtracks for fallout 1+2 and Planescape are beyond awesome. Dark Ambient ftw!

Does anyone know if this is going to be released in PAL-land?
(I'm looking for a Swedish release in specific)
I'm reserving that title for Udea's new project, one can always hope. :)
Off topic but seriously though, I would have loved to see a Zelda title going in the direction of something from team-ico.
When i played shadow of the colossus I thought to myself how awesome a zelda game would be with this atmosphere and a similar approach to gameplay and scale. :D
Filthy lies!
I'm more excited about there being key-contributers from FF6 and 7 working on the title, both on gameplay and directing.
The only thing they're accomplishing is trying to make an example out of them, but these kind of actions never really work. If someone falls two new heads grow out.
One thing to take notice of is that a torrent isn't illegal in itself.
Also, Torrentspy did'nt even host any torrents. It was more of a search engine for torrents on other sites.
It's crazy up how some people can bend the law.
Yeah, the animation does a lot to the whole experience.
Definitely looking forward to this title, even though I can't stand fps on console. :P
No no no, I know what unwrapping/UV-mapping is and all that p'zazz. I'm talking about a step in the render-pipeline where you transfer information from every objects seperate texturechannels that are rendered like on a quad on top of everything infront of the camera so everything is rendered in unison in different passes, colour, spe...
Don't Forget Buzz.
But seriously, the succeeding casual titles the ps2 has is definetly not the backbone of that console's library.
It's a bit naive to think anything else.
