Nope. Us in PAL-land never got as much love from square as the US, nes-to-ps2-era.
Good thing the ps3 is region free for the ps3 games, But it's a shame ps1 games are regionlocked since the emulator running it on the ps3 has no problems regarding different regions or outputs really. My wall with NTSC PS1 RPGs begs for the removal of the region lock. :C

Nice to see a reviewer playing through the game entirely with Move for the verdict.
Considering picking up a move-starter kit for this, been waiting for something more hardcore instead of the casual stuff that's out now.

Ambiance of Systemshock 2 with the story of Event Horizon and gameplay of Resident evil 4.

I find it funny that the news of the new firmware getting hacked was published on n4g before the news that 3.56 was released.
Gentlemen, I believe these hackers might be able to travel backwards in time.

I think it would be a smart move for Bungie to move away from the Halo universe for a couple of years, sometimes you need to take a walk in the open to get more good ideas,
How about marathon remakes for a couple of years, I'd kill for that!
then move back to the Halo franchise after that :)

NOW I'll gladly buy Bayonetta. :)

I remember reading they first said that they never would have dlc for ffxiii. This further cements my purchase of FFXIII-international when it arrives instead of the standard version.

This is nice, but it's not in line with any of the covers for the other titles. The North American cover is so much better/badass imo.

Definetly, I agree, they would most likely have more unnecessery stuff hogging up the storage on disc. It's been the same for all the Final Fantasy-titles since 7.
It was first with FFXII that they hit a wall and started having problems with lack space for their extravagant cinematics, but that game was of the size of an mmo and very different compared to the other ones in the series.

Why does so many think my post was negatively charged in any way?

I would'nt be too worried for the cutscenes in MGS: Rising, though.
Especially if they decided to make the game a multiplatform title early on.

Kojima loves his cutscenes. But the big difference there is that all cutscenes in the metal gear-series are rendered on the fly, using in-game assets. So the only thing hogging up the extra space on the medium is the sounds, music and dialog, and maybe for the occasional high-res prop and asset that was made specifically for this o...

That's because a 360 game disc can't hold more than 6.8gb-something of data, the rest of the space is used up for physical protection against piracy.... which doesn't really work that well though.

They will most likely work with another set of mythology if they make more GoW-games. God of War IS Kratos, if you remove Kratos as a character you could just as well set it in a different mythology with a complete new smorgosbord of legends and such to pick from as inspiration, that's what I think at least.

Looking at concept art by Paul Bonner the other day really made me want to see a game of GoW-calibur set in Norse Mythology.
Keep the core gameplay mechanics though! :)...

Could'nt agree more. :)

This one slipped most peoples attention when it was released, even though Black Isle was behind it.

I remember this game, it's brilliant.

Gameplay-wise, Gears2 was much much better than the first one.
I did like the atmosphere and the style of Gears of War 1 more though.

Is'nt Midway Epic's publisher?

Woah, wait a minute here. So they're replacing the theme song of the entire game with a crappy slowpaced rnb song here in Europa and the States?
Correct me if I read the article wrong.

I don't have a problem with Masashi Hamauzu replacing Uemtasu since FFX, hell, even some of my favorite songs from final fantasy were in FFX and was composed by Hamauzu. But this is probably the most stupid decision ever.

If it's like the spheregrid in ffx, then I'm more than pleased. It's easily the best leveling up system for a jrpgs so far.
It tends to however make most characters very similar in the end, except for maybe the unique abilities like limit breaks and summonings.

Loved the first Wild Arms for its oldschool-ness. Never liked the changes in the later games... It's sad though if the only game in this genre will dissappear.
There's so much potential in the spacecowboy/postapocalyptic/po stpunk-theme. It's just a shame not many games have borrowed the tension, dark humor and atmopshere that is the trademarks of a great Western.
