hehe, was about to write the exact same thing. :P
Never really gave either of the titles on pc/ps2 a chance,
love the shading and cloth folds on Hyung-Tae Kim's concept art though.
If someone would want to have a taste of the series, the ps2-title might probably be a good start.
They changed their system for ratings
The game is awesome. Deserves to be put as many platforms as possible imho.
They outsource a lot, fyi.
For instance, both the Bionic Commando titles are done by Grin.
same here.
Information about release dates on IMBD are never to be trusted, especially those for video games.
Whatwhatwhat
Lost Levels farts on all... except for maybe smw or smb3
well, mine isn't
It's the gaming platform I've played the most this year as well as my friends... and the year before that... and the year before that... and the year before that....
BOM!
Do want
I'm glad that people take notice of one of the most impressive graphical features in Killzone 2, namely the particle effects.
I mean, the game looks stunning, both the environments, characters and every little detail from what I've seen so far.. but the particle effects are superb and very tastefully done. It makes all the difference in the ambiance. :)
Edit:
oh, and the lightning system is kind of cool and orthodox, Illuminate Labs which a big part of it has been ou...
The question should really be why Bethesda even bought the IP.
Most fans of the originals don't consider Fallout3 a real fallout-game.
Now when I come to think of it... I don't think I've met anyone who played the originals thouroughly who is actually looking forward to this beast of Bodmin.
Fallout3 died with Black Isle... It could've been saved by Troika, but they were stepped on as well. :(
You do know that in the original Fallout and Fallout 2 you had the choice to continue the game even after you had done the main quest?
Yeah, I read some previews and it seems like the gameplay in HR is more like an evolutionary step from Indigo Prophecy.
I'm actually playing through Fahrenheit/Indigo Prophecy as we speak.
I was kind of confused in the beginning with the gameplay mechanics and control scheme, but they actually grow on you and I have to say that it's very nicely done.
I really like how they managed to translate actions in the game that was hard to perform in reality, like pulling someo...
You will probably be forced to upgrade your firmware (including the patch) to even be able to play the game. sorry.
I don't know, Pure really has more in common with snowboard-games than a racer, gameplay-wise that is.
A better comparison in the realms of arcady/casual-racers would probably be something like Burnout, even though it's not in the offroad field.
on topic: Good score, might check it out.
Sure, but Pure isn't an offroad racer though.
It's more like SSX on wheels. :P
Haha, how about a 0-1 scoring system.
It would actually be a cool way of reviewing different aspects of a game with Binary. Either it's crap, or it's not. :P
@ reaper
The intro is brilliant, it's been a long time since I saw that.
Brian Cox still gives me goosebumps when he does his angry-dicator-during-a-speech- voice. :D
588.164 USD, to be precise, it costs even more in some countries... like here in Sweden and the rest of Scandinavia :/
Since the Euro is so high compared to the yen and dollar, I think Sony is cashing in more from the European market than what most people actually think.
Yikes, especially for being a new IP.
Level 5 is really starting to move up the food chain in the recent years. GJ L5! :)
