What about the Wii U? Last count the Wii U sold almost 4 million units giving it an commanding lead so far this next generation. On top of that we got SMB, MK8, Pikmin, and Watchdog which will be superior to the X360 and PS3 version. PS4 is spec overrated just like Sony did with the PS1, PS2,PS3, 2 TFLOPS (PS3) anyone? History will repeat itself, PS4 and XB1 are too expensive to sell 2 million units in the first year, go Nintendo power!
Jk, I do wonder if both next gen syste...
All the disagrees, I guess seven people never played with the X360 over extended periods of time. Well shooting games atleast, or any game that requires the use of both thumb sticks for navigation.
PS DS controllers will never be better than the X360, not until Sony change the placements of their dumb sticks. I can't stand playing shooting games with my PS3 controllers because of it. Hand fatigue stretching my thumbs down to the thumb stick after about 4 hrs or so. Plus my PS3 controllers battery life is down to probably 10 hours, and takes 3 hours or more to charge. I can get weeks out of my X360 controllers.
The only thing I like about my PS3 controllers are the ...
You gotta love the disagrees for being an smart shopper!
For all those disagrees here's a couple of links listed below. Its not even November yet and Xbox Live can be had for $40 for a year.

Unbiased yeah right, I can't recall the last time I paid $60 for Xbox Live. More like $30-45 off Amazon and newegg. Well I guess I always buy two years in advance around Black Friday. Even without online deals if you let Xbox auto renew it's $49.99 a year.
Yeah the downside having the PS4 on pre order is most of my family and buddies play X360. Most of them of the XB1 on pre order, decided I will pick up the X1 next year. I don't want RROD, or defective 1st gen products to happen to me again.
I usually buy football games every two years or so. Last Madden for me was 2012 which in my opinion is the best Madden this generation (PS3,X360). Played Madden 25 demo and I must admit I'm digging it. Looked next gen, played smooth, still not a fan of motion blur graphics. The dilemma I'm facing is should I get it now on the X360, or wait until November for the PS4 version?
Live2play please, 1 decent kid game a month mixed with Disney is not exactly killer apps.
Price drop is good, but they still need a consistent stream of killer apps. But hey its a step in the right direction. Now the Nintendo 2Ds I think they took a step back.
Finally, well I guess this was somewhat predicted awhile ago. I actually thought they would cut prices by $100!
I see your point, never played the 3Ds for long periods of time. Just an hour or 2 here and there. I purchased it for my nephew who comes over every once and awhile. From what I've played it was pretty cool, but never felt the need to buy one for myself. I guess I'm not the biggest portable gaming fan but if I ever wanted an portable gaming console it would probably be either the 3DS or Nvidia Shield.
Well you can't hate Nintendo for trying. I personally love 3D, all of my TVs and computer monitor is 3D. 3D is a nice feature watching/playing the right content.
But what about AMD drivers? AMD has drivers issues right? How can XB1 and PS4 delivery smooth framerates when AMD drivers causes latency? I don't get it, Nvidia is king! Nevermind the fact Nvidia drivers kills GPUs. I had 4 months of hell last year when I couldn't play new releases without using beta drivers which caused BSODS. But heck my GTX 670 is still fast, I love Nvidia, MS and Sony are not worthy of having Nvidia GPUs in their system. By this time next year my tablet will be mo...
They did improve the clock speeds after E3 to their GPU. As long as MS is not changing chips, developers shouldn't be affected by spec changes since games are developed on PC first before porting. But like U said this could have been planned for awhile now.
Agree, Nintendo really lost some steam not having an huge E3 presence. Some people said it wouldn't matter but now the only thing I hear is doom and gloom regarding Nintendo. Mr. Iwata came and said they need to diversify their software. Which is a step in the right direction, but most importantly they need to advertise to their hearts content. Otherwise Nintendo might be better off cutting bait and releasing something new in the next 3 years.
That sounds about right. Comparing PS3 launch titles to GOWA and the Last Of Us you think they were on two different platforms.
Sony has a long history of lying about their specs. Since the PS4 announcement the PS3 specs has been downgraded several times. The same thing happened with the PS2 and PS1 when both of their successors were announced.
I know the PS4 will have more power but not as much as people make it out to be. XB1 is around 70 percent of the power of Sony's PS4, less than a third and not 3-5 times more powerful as some peopled claimed. Regarding pixel fill rates, Sony has a long hist...
Blah, done with AC after 2, and this latest one looks generic. The protagonist looks like the chump Valerian Mengsk from Star Craft 2.
Getting BF4 on the PC as usual, I just hope AMD next GPU is out by then. My Nvidia GTX 670 is starting to struggle in games with full effects and AA.
Don Mattrick effect, he went from an innovator to an arrogant business man. Don's first project he started from scratch with MS instead of building off someone else success. Almost ruined the brand with his lies and policy stance.
