Yeah Naughty Dog can work their magic, the same goes to SCE Santa Monica Studio in the GOW series. Crysis 3 maxed looks good, the PS3 looks ok but I doubt you could run Crysis 3 on 7 year hardware and perform as good as the PS3 or X360 version. Heck my ATI 3870 couldn't even play Crysis War Head at decent frame rates back in 2008.

More like reading, on my work PC no audio popped up for me or video, just read the article that mentioned the 360 and PS3. Again 7/8 year hardware shouldn't be compared to hardware less than a year old. I couldn't imagine comparing my old Gefore 6800 GT to my 670 GTX video card, nothing to compare, newer tech that completely outclasses the old one, it's silly.

Incase you don't get it, I was making the point it was stupid to compare hardware 7 years apart. Case in point the X360 (2005) compared to the Dreamcast (98 Japan), if you played Dreamcast and X360 you will know there's an huge and obvious difference between the technologies. I know MS and Sony went balls out on the X360 and PS3 with state of the art Chipsets. Both consoles may have been over developed with games like Beyond 2 Souls, The last of Us, and GTA 5 going toe to toe with next gen consoles. But this is kinda silly seeing articles comparing the Wii U (fall 2012) to a system that came out in 2005. That would be like MS comparing the X360 to Sega's Dreamcast and bragging about how 10 MBs of EDRAM is 2 MBs more than the Dreamcast total video memory. Or So...

Exactly my point, not that graphics are everything but it still needs to impress me. Otherwise what's the point of buying HDTVs and surround sound systems? DR3 is just flat looking with generic characters and Zombies.

Its more about the Art direction, DR1 looked colorful and bright but low polygonal characters. DR 2 is a couple of years old now but I can honestly say DR 3 is not that much of an upgrade. DR 3 depending on the scene has this grayish to brownish tone I don't particular care for.

Not that impressed with DR3, now Forza 5 is a different story. Yes I know DR3 has hundreds of zombies on screen and all that jazz, it just looks too much like LFD but with more polygons per character.
MS might be still into Japan but is Japan into MS? I would just focus on the money markets in America and Europe, you guys tried twice now in Japan only to have sales worst than the Wii U. Heck not even Sony is that focused on Japan at this point in time. The PS3 sales in JP are good but not great and like MS Sony did the bulk of their business in Europe and North American markets.
It would probably be like 75-90 FPS, its not twice as powerful just has 50% more shaders, and about 30 percent better math capabilities. With that said 120FPS on an 120hz monitor is quite nice. Hard to go back to 60hz let alone 30 hz after gaming with 120hz for about 2 years now.
I'm on my 4th units, 3rd unit worked for a couple of years but it was loud as heck. Upgraded to the X360 slim model the first week it came out, its been great ever since in terms of reliability and noise. On my third PS3, first 1 failed, picked up a used 40 GB model but quickly ran out of space. I think only 27 GBs or so was usable. Upgraded to the 120GB PS3 slim model couple of years ago, not as pretty looking but its nice and quiet.

Keeping my 360, trading in my PS3 and buying a PS4 day one edition. I plan on trading in my 360 next year when I pick up the XB1 probably in January. This will be the first time I've ever purchased a Sony next gen console first. After getting burnt twice with RROD units by MS, Sony gets it first this time around. Well I guess Sony burnt me ounce with the fat PS3 going out after a year, no problems with the PS2, PS1 was horrible going through 5 units in 5 years.

Makes sense, I do wish MS and Sony would had stayed with the RISC format, AMD Jaguar cores just seem weak to me without the GPU aid.
