Oh the disagrees! I'm just saying Nintendo failed to create excitement/buzz by using someone who can barely speak English against a plain looking conference room. Every title Nintendo announced everybody expected. I actually expected more titles like a Metroid, Star Fox Adventures, and home console version of Kid Icarus.
Overall its just poor management by Nintendo. Some of their actions is downright laughable. How do you not know it takes more people to create HD graphic...
Looks like having an small presence at E3 did nothing for their console business.
That's one of the reason why I didn't buy the Wii. SD graphics on an 60 inch HD Plasma with no true 5.1 Dolby Digital surround sound, no thanks. Plus I don't care for motion controls, did not get the Kinect, and did not buy Sony's microphone looking motion control apparatus.
Yeah I liked RE5 the 2nd best right behind Resident Evil 0. I have 6, not played it in awhile because of The Last of Us but so far I can say its third best in the series.
Mario Kart 8, Xenoblade 2, and SMB will help sell systems but if Sony and MS come out guns blazing, I don't think the maturing gaming audience is going to care. Based on software sales, advertisement, and word of mouth, allot of people are just not that excited about what Nintendo is offering besides Nintendo's hardcore fans.
I go in my local Gamestop and I see nobody standing over by the Wii U, half the time the system is not even on. I never seen my local Gamesto...
I never even heard of ASDA and Tesco until this article came out.
I wouldn't say the Wii U is dead yet, the system has only been out for 9 months for crying out loud. The problem being the Wii U launched with no hype to non fanboys, the largest controller since the jaguar, a much weaker console than their competitors, dismal third party sales on top of a limited software selection. To make matters worst the Wii U is only $50 cheaper than the all hype PS4, and poorly marketed so far. Nintendo needs to work some 3DS magic and re impulse consumers otherwis...
People had no emotional attachment to 400 Days. I have not played this game yet but everybody say its short, not enough time to grow attached to any particular character. I probably will buy it when I beat a couple of my newer games in a week or two.
Troll bait post
You get my bubble vote! The Last of Us was probably the best game I've played since ME2 and like you said played nothing like Uncharted. I couldn't stop playing, beat this game in 3 days after playing 20.2 game hrs. Normally it takes me weeks to beat a game with my work schedule but with TLOU, come home play until mid night, back at it the next night. My fiancée hated me for half a week.
A bubble vote for you quenomamen! MS is doing the same crap Nintendo is doing. But I guess Sony did the same thing with the PS3 GPU. Rumored the PS3 GPU was down graded but Sony never confirmed or denied just focused on the power of Cell. Anywho game on gamers!
@papashango
I agree with you on this one. I played it on the PC for two weeks, uninstalled. It looked ok, but not mind blowing, after the first week I was bored, felt too much like UT2004 edition.
I know its old but I agree with you. My Resident evil titles I ranked form top to bottom are the following;
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 6 (Too damn dark Yeezus)
Resident Evil 4
Resident Evil Code Veronica
Resident Evil 2
Resident Evil 3
Resident Evil 1 original
Every body screamed tank controls in Resident Evil 4, than they come out with Resident 5 and 6 and suddenly people complained about it p...
I can't wait, getting sick of my Nvidia GTX 670 and all of its drivers and firmware issues.
The best comment I've seen in this post. My PC tower Intel Hexa core CPU and Nvidia GTX 670 cost me over $1000 by themselves. So yeah I would expect my PC to thrash $400-500 consoles. With that said consoles games drives the market. Compare the top 100 games sold on the PC to Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo current consoles, its not even close.
Nintendo is doing the smart thing by sitting back and reorganizing their priorities. It keeps negative press away until they are ready to reveal something big. With that said I don't expect much, I've been waiting over ten years to be impressed.
Xbox Live was going to grow no matter what. Its not like they decreased the prices, made some kind special incentive to sign up for Xbox Live. Xbox Live, Xbox360 user installment base sky rocketed when MS finally released an reliable console and lower the price along with Kinect. I will give this, Xbox Live on the 360 has enough content to justify the $40-60 a year price tag unlike the first Xbox and PS3.
Don did not design the fist Xbox or Xbox360. He came on board after X360 was already out for two years, and only served as a consultant. The Xb1 is the first console Don called the shots from the beginning until his end at Microsoft. He did help kick start project Natal or Kinect which took the spotlight away from Nintendo's Wii. With that said the end results being an over priced console with slightly weaker overall performance compared to the cheaper PS4.
Unlike Ninten...
Its smaller but I think the PS3 is more sexier even though its larger. I actually like the Wii U design the best followed by the Xbox 1 than the PS4. Any who that's just my opinion, please don't be tard with fanboy crap check my comment history.
Nintendo direct was pretty bad, I don't think having an proper E3 conference could had been much worst. If these guys are professional at what they do there should be no excuses for a bad E3 conference, very amateurish. Satoru Iwata sounded about as monotone as the Clear Eyes commercials guy. That's not good when Nintendo is trying to get people excited to buy a Wii U.
Nintendo would had been better off letting Reggie do Nintendo Direct. Reggie is good at creating ex...
