I love this game, got it last year for $8.99 PC download. BD is generic as they come but still remained me of 3D Contra done right. Large stereotypical protagonist, and the usual suspects for bad guys.
I really do hope Sony release a PS4 version of this game. I would love to play it at 1080P and 64 bit 4K textures. The PS3 version looked little rough some parts, drop dead gorgeous in others.
Graphically hotdamn it looks nice! Probably along with GTA 5 will be the best looking games this current generation (Wii U included). Gameplay wise I'm just not that excited about it, plus its too close to the PS4 release and I still got God of War Ascension, Hitman, Tomb Raider to beat.
Pretty crappy comparison if you ask me. You have gameplay video comparing it to CGI (Fable Legends) if you are going to compare Madden games, compare Madden 2006 Xbox/X360 and Madden 25 X360/XB1 so atleast the engines can be the same or similar.
My Sony DN840 has 6 HDMI inputs, 1 legacy input, I think composite, but who really uses that crap anyway. Its a nice mid range receiver pumping out over 1000 watts connected to Polk Monitor 75s front, Polk Monitor 70s rear, Polk CS1 center, and Polk PSW 110 sub, viewed on A Samsung 60 inch 3D Plasma (PND8000).
I also have Sony SS F7000 speakers but not connected, I opted for bi amping rather than 7.1 surround, bi amping sounds better to me.
Unfair and bias news
I say H3ll yeah! I can hook this up to my Sony STR DN840 receiver, I just hope the sound quality is up to snuff, non of that tingy cheap sound crap I can't stand.
What did SE expect? GTA number with over 20 million sold? I'm sure most publisher would take 4 million for 1 game with a smile, 2 million for another. With third party publishers getting $29-38 per game sold at $60 after stores get their cut, license fees on consoles, developers (after development cost is paid for)and physical media and distribution, thats about $116-152 million before subtracting production budget. If SE is having a hard time turning profit with revenues that high for 1 ...
He makes good points, also Sony has a history dating back to the PS1 (1.5 million polygons), of lying about their specs. I guess MS lied as well with the first Xbox (300 Million polygons, 3 generations ahead of anything in development). Even still 30% or less is not an huge gap. If I'm not mistaken but the PS3 CPU had over 3 times the FLOPS of the X360, GPU could produce more FLOPS as well, something like 1.84 TFLOP (PS3 lie). X360 GPU had better vertex processing and thats about it. Out...
Biggest reason is Japan is now an 2nd tier market. North America and Europe is where Sony is going to make their money. The almighty PS3 didn't crack 10 million sold in Japan.
Maybe if I can get some HDTV, at least 1280X720.
Sony is doing the smart thing by focusing on the biggest markets (North America and Europe) before dumping resources in 2nd tier markets.
Well I guess even Sony now believes Japan is a 2nd tier market. The all mighty PS3 sold under 10 million in the land of the rising sun.
Cmon man of course all of that is done. The Marvel controller adds to the boot time because it takes awhile to display information. And yes my bios is set to quick boot with splash screen disabled. My MSI motherboard before it failed booted in 26 seconds. I've built 3 AMD systems this year with hybrid SSD/HDs and they all boot in 25 seconds. So I know its my Marvel controller causing the issue. And yes Marvel has been updated and no you don't defrag SSDs, just turn on trim support.

"That’s $5,038,214,927.30" That's about right, in the grand scheme of things $5 billion is not a whole lot if net cash value is being reduced by $1.7 plus a year. In 3 years if this continues as stated in my earlier post Nintendo will exceed their actual cash value in the bank right now.
Now I'm not saying Nintendo can't take loans, nor do I wish financial hardship or downfall on Nintendo. I'm simply saying you have to star...

I got my information from IGN, as of July 31st this year from what they claim its $5billion in actually cash not including assets! So no my information gathering was not being lazy at all. I do agree Forbes information holds more weight, but I found multiple sources that has Nintendo's net worth all over the place.
In 2011 Nintendo had $10-11 billion in the bank with just under $2 billion in loans. Giving Nintendo an net worth in actual cash va...
Good sales but I'm waiting until winter for GPU upgrade, and April next year for my CPU. My I7 970 is still a beast but the platform is getting long in the tooth. I hate using this God awful Marvel Sata 3.0 controller on my Asus Sabertooth TUF motherboard. Takes 42 seconds to boot using Samsung 830 SSD in Windows 7 and about 31 in Windows 8. My GTX 670 is still holding steady for now, can't wait to see what AMD next GPU can do.
Or maybe so the Wii U2 in 2015 can be competitive! If I'm not mistaken but didn't Nintendo have $7 billion in the bank when the Wii U launched? Latest reports claim Nintendo is down to $5 Billion. $2 billion in less than a year, if this continues Nintendo will be done in 3 years. Last time I checked Sony had $22 billion in the bank with potential revenue from more than just video games and the Seattle Mariners!
Based on the latest sales with the Wii U selling 27,000 p...
Yeah that two tone black looks good on the console and box. The only thing I hate about the XB1 design is the inability at this point in time to stand vertically. Probably have to buy a new TV stand next year when I get the XB1, PS4 should sit nicely in my current stand.
I'm actually 2nd guessing my PS4 pre-order. Sony got me with the hype but looking at games I can get on the PC, and games I want to play on the consoles XB1 has two (KI,Forza 5) you can't get on any other platform this fall/winter.
