If you don't get it the whole point I was making is the totality of both systems. The PS4 monster GPU is 40% more powerful, plain simple easy enough to understand, but XB1 CPU is around 10 faster with audio hardware twice the reported performance. That is why I'm leaning more towards 30 percent or less since TFLOPS like MHZ can be misleading regarding hardware performance.

4K will probably only be reserved for arcade titles or games like the new Rayman, both next gen seem too weak to deliver solid 4K performance with anything detailed like lets say Beyond 2 Souls. Speaking of 4K, in two years time it will be the perfect opportunity for Sony, MS, and maybe Nintendo to get more money out the consumers by introducing HDMI 2.0 on their system redesign if 4K gaming takes off.

My bad Doom 3, on my work PC. Rage was ok but had soo many technical problems on the PC. Had to make config files to get the game to run properly. A patch comes out and graphical corruption, crash to desktop app not responding crap, after awhile I just gave up and uninstalled Rage 5 hrs in. Doom 3 felt generic as heck with monsters in closets scare tactics. The last two quake games felt like Doom 3 very generic late 90's shooters. Did Nvidia pay this guy? Besides more memory Tablets and Smartphones are still not on par with the X360 and PS3. But 5 years from now you never know, I'm sure Nintendo will have a new console in the middle of that time frame that will outpace any tablets for another 3-5 years.
I would have to say anything John Carmack has been involved with as of late. Rage, Doom 4, and Quake all mediocre garbage that Mr. Wizard Carmack talked a good game about but failed to live up to expectation. When is a game done when its done but yet not done?

Really KwietStorm? You want me to explain why I like certain games to you like you are somebody special? I want BC 3 because its my personal preference. I like BC single player characters, the jokes, the none serious but current events storyline with multi player as my cherry on top. To me and again this is my personal preference I had more fun playing BC 2 SP and MP than any of BF games so far, which is why I want BC 3 and don't care to buy BF4.
Yeah same boat, I have 8 of them and they all want PS Vitas, 3Ds, Wii Us, and the oldest (15) wants the PS4 as well. The good thing I get 3 paychecks in November but my third check I have reserved for AMD new sell my arm graphics card. Depending on how much I have left I might can squeeze XB1 in right before Christmas but bills have to come out of that last check, otherwise first check in January can easily cover the XB1.
I want Bad Company 3! Didn't care a whole lot for BF3 and I don't think BF4 is going to change my opinion.
Custom audio chip seem to be less powerful at 200+ channels compared to 512. But this is all based on leaked specs, and probably yes I probably will not be able to tell the difference.

Any who 1080P will be nice next month, probably only buying Madden 25 on the PS4 and the rest of the titles I want on the PC. Yeah and I was annoyed with all the corny meow sounds Mario was making. If I cared to buy a Wii U, MK8 and Super Smash Brothers are the only games I would consider buying since I enjoyed playing both on the Gamecube. Nah Jk, I don't know about the greatest ever, the SNES for is time was pretty incredible, heck the SNES and Nintendo blunder is the reason why the PS even exist.
I loved BF Bad Company 2! Liked it better than BF3 for both SP and MP, heck still installed on my PC.
Finally my I7 970 can stretch its hyperthreaded 6 legs.
I'm disappointed this game only runs 720P, the environments don't look anything beyond what the X360 or PS3 are capable if they had 5 Gigs of ram to play with. Maybe this game is a reflection of the lack of talent at Double Helix. Why couldn't MS pull Rare off MS wannabe Wii sports knockoffs and have them focus only on KI? But not played KI since KI gold back in 97, a game I'm looking forward to come January when I buy my XB1.
