I hope after playing it on PS3 that it runs at 60fps this time, rather than concentrating on meagre superfluous touches to the visuals...wait, what?
But the thing is, it doesn't. Also - more importantly, it won't play like a GTA game. More gaming sites should crititque the heart of a game rather than overloading us with piddly graphic comparisons.
Yeah, because putting an either 8 or 9 below a Call of Duty game really carries weight. It's Call of Duty, if you liked the previous you are more than bound to like this, if not it's less likely - but not impossible. For me, I'm waiting for Far Cry 4 to arrive and pit the two...
Rock star (I feel) have really done a number on previous gen owners of this game. Also, people are saying how this is a great 'remaster' of a last gen game, but in my opinion, the first and perhaps most important change should have been getting it running at 60fps...30fps was incredibly obvious and almost crippling on previous gen versions.
It looks like a peach of a game. Another gen and another reason (in many) why I continue to go with Nintendo. My only concern - if you want to call it that - is that games such as this - no matter how good - will continue to be overlooked in favour of more semi-realistic 'adult' shooters.

Thing is, I would love it if all the recent 'blockbuster' ip's were to make their way onto the Wii U, but that in no way takes away from the fact Nintendo has always (in my opinion) had the best, most innovative and more axpansive exclusive content. The recently hyped blockbusters are in my experience a lot of smoke screen and mirrors...Nintendo's software has almost always over its long history left me delighted.
When people say that I say nothing, I just continue to enjoy their (Nintendo's) software output, whether it be refreshing 'old' ip's or trying us with new ip's. It should never, never matter which name or character is involved in a game, just what is done with it.
Bleeding hell...talk about fickle! The Wii U is only just getting into its stride now, same as it takes almost all new consoles a year or two to get going. More sense would be NOT to talk about what you want from Nintendo's next console but what you want from its next generation of games.
Overrated? Arkham City, possibly. Skyrim, yes. COD:MW, no. GTAV, yes. BioShock Infinite, probably. GTAIV, definitely. Watch Dogs, for sure! Out of this bunch I would say only COD:MW doesn't deserve to be on this list, even if its 'sequels' all did.
Who buys COD for the 'campaign' - these days? Personally, I've never bought a COD since COD4@MW, which I will say was wonderful. I might give this latest version a look, though I probably shouldn't...I have hoards of games (retail and Steam) of which I've barely scratched the surface.
Side by side - under a microscope, very, VERY small differences. In reality, on ground level, each version just as playable. Its certainly not like the PS3/360 days in which games like Bayonetta (PS3) and The Orange Box (PS3) were shockingly inferior (almost broken) to the 360 versions of each...and I say this as a PS1, 2, 3 and now 4 owner.
I'll admit, I'm not a huge fan of the COD series, my interest having peaked at COD4:MW (PS3) which was I will say incredible - multi-player in particular, but to comment with "blind and retarded"? You lost any little credibility you may have had with that ignorant rubbish.

You numberbods make me wince. The Dreamcast (for example) sold poorly in terms of hardware and software...did it stop it being a wonderful, innovative console with some truly memorable exclusives, erm, NO. I owned one, I bought mine at launch, trust me, much like the Wii U (again, for example) numbers never really entered into it. I also bought a PS4, again, trust me, no amount of billions consoles sold has yet to convince me it's sorely underperforming where it counts, in living rooms.
'New' being the key word. I can speak from good experience, I have owned every major GTa, most (if not all) I bought at launch. As you get older and wiser to Rockstar you start to see under the hype and dazzle - it's a lot of style over substance. The latest GTA (V) felt - after the initial sugar rush - the same as GTAIII, albeit with slightly more modern controls and physics... but if you aren't bored of the same mission structure by now.
Its not the best cover ever, but then again, its nowhere near the worst. Also, to be fair, show me a cover/sleeve (this gen) which betters Nintendo's SM3DW furry limited edition sleeve...
The majority of (open-minded) gamers needn't require this link, actually owning and playing the games is its own (and best) reward. Once again, you will not regret a Wii U/PC combo this gen...even better if you can also own a 3DS XL on the side.
Sad but true. Leave it to COD or a 'remastered' game to make GOTY 2014. No wonder the industry (in general) feels stagnant, trite. Alls I can say is thank heavens for Nintendo...again.
Im glad the Wii was included in this list, easily one of the most innovative consoles of all time - if not thee most innovative. Also, those nearsighted snobs who say it (the Wii) was just all 'shovelware', to them I say I have 20-30 games still in my library, some of the best I have played in the last 2 gens.
