Lets face it. Sony - with Driveclub - have made a bigger u-turn than Nick Clegg with tuition fees. Shameless.

Yes. My only niggle about this game is that you will be looking at the Gamepad for the majority of the time. Not so bad, just a shame when it looks visibly more vivid and beautiful on the 'big screen'...

What is happening with Sony of late!? Seems every exclusive - digital or retail - has been sorely lacking. I know this is 'only' a PS3 game released in 2012, just now reaching a western audience, but its like they (Sony) keep falling below expectations. Even looking at the games upcoming in 2015, I'm struggling (besides Uncharted) to see a game almost certain to meet demands. I bought a PS4 at launch...fingers crossed 2015 will offer some surprise sleeper exclusives which hit us f...

Another article just proving sales in no way relate to quality.

I'm old enough to remember seeing (and playing) the original Street Fighter down my local(ish) arcade. Still my favourite iteration of said game. Sure, following versions are more playable - I spent countless hours playing Street Fighter II for my SNES, but the original felt grittier, less 'arcade' if you will. I feel for the youth of today. You just can't replicate that feeling on home consoles that the local arcades used to offer, particularly in spite of the internet hyping...

Dont blame Nintendo for not supporting new IP's, blame (if you must) the casuals too caught up in the latest COD or sports franchise. Its the reason why games such as Bayonetta were made by the skin of their teeth. The original Bayonetta was released on 2 hugely popular consoles...it didnt make a dent. Again, the casuals too enthralled by whatever 6 monthly franchise was being shoved down their throats/

Anyhow, whats wrong with 'another' Zelda or Mario? SM3D was r...

No, its not (obviously). This is however a place people post their OPINIONS on certain news articles, is it not? My opinion was made quite clear. From the games I have played on said list I found none of them to be "fantastic"...hardly hardcore trolling. Not unlike the majority of people who - since its inception - troll the Wii U while quite obviously - in the majority of cases - not actually owning or having played one.

"tablet-wannabe controller"? First, no. Second, how is the touch-pad on the PS4 controller working out for you? Ok, the battery isn't very strong - I myself bought the replacement battery and now find things a lot better, but what about PS Plus? Isn't that 'forcing' people to subscribe in what's - lets be honest, a pretty dead online experience without. Also Amiibo's. Truly an additional extra. Buy them or not, every game is 100% playable without. Try not to ...

Are these "fantastic" games? From what I have played from said list...no.

By this point, I really, really DON'T care. If said game had been anything other than style over substance. Yes, very, very standard fare in a overcrowded industry...that's NOT going to cut it.

Too true. Rhythm Heaven Fever however (for the Wii) was another one of those titles, brilliant but unappreciated - at least by the majority. Its more a shame because certain other 'rhythm' games sell a ton while being a far inferior product...story of this gen (thus far)?

Its true. You see Wii U games in action - play/own them if you are smart. How is ANYTHING available exclusively on Wii U even similar on PS4/XB1. 2 very different experiences...PS4 and XB1 are much alike.

Exactly, because there's barely any good games on both 'rival' consoles. Also, regarding the Wii U, "only a handful of decent games"? I own a dozen (minimum), each of which could be a strong argument for game of their respective year, absolutely no 'filler'. Many more great games are available on top of this, just I'm very particular - and don't have the time to play EVERYTHING. Lastly, saying the Wii U is a "dead console" simply because of sale...

Fair enough. However, if I am insinuating the PS4 is doing badly its just cause - in my experience - it is. I picked up a PS4 at launch and since, virtually nothing I couldn't be playing elsewhere for cheaper and better performing i.e my modest(ish) PC. I'm still hopeful 2015 will be a positive year for Sony in terms of games.

Fair point - sort of. I don't mean to be so down on Order, but no, I probably will end up playing it at some point down the line - just if anything to make up my own opinion. I honestly am NOT trolling the game - since I've not yet played it that would be impossible. I'm just commenting on the particularly bad reviews of late. I've owned a PS4 since launch, I've owned every Playstation previous. I guess what looks to you like 'trolling' is perhaps a backlash for al...

When did "best graphics" ONLY relate to those games striving for semi-realistic. Bit harsh to penalize Mario in this regard. Better to look at SM3DW achieving 720p whilst running at a flawless 60fps. This should surely replace the 'graphics wars'...performance wars.

Graphics, 'good' graphics are of course an integral part of the modern videogame. It's when people start calling the Wii U (for example) "underpowered". How can anybody play games such as SM3DW, Mario Kart, Smash and Tropical Freeze (again, for example) and realistically demand more from the visual departments. Yes, I take interest in digital foundry and the like, but it's when people take these comparisons and try applying it at ground level.

WOW. The review for this game seem to be getting worse and worse and worse, and still, feverish fan boys seem to be (attempting) to put a spin on it. Can you imagine for a moment a much anticipated Wii U game getting these sort of reviews...the trolls would be all over it!

@Griever

It's true. Final Fantasy will sell loads while Xenoblade way, way less. So? What am I, a shareholder? I can give you a list of videogames which sold poorly but were hailed by critics and 'real' gamers alike. Shows how poorly the PS4 must be doing when sales are being discussed as a 'win'.

Underpowered? The Wii U is a console delivering games running at 1080p and 60fps. Nothing to prove in that regard. Nobody but nobody buys Nintendo for gauranteed 3rd party support, rather the 'killer' exclusives. Tropical Freeze, Smash, SM3DW (for example)...tired? No, Driveclub, ANOTHER Assassins Creed and Destiny. THAT is tired.
