Doubtful. The recent trend of gamers is to have a AAA game released every other week, despite (probably) having a MASSIVE backlog of games...pure greed. Like most (if not all) first-party Nintendo games, if Nintendo 'only' release a new Star Fox and Zelda in 2015 I will be more than happy. Quality, NOT quantity. Good things come to those who wait...
Nothing quite like a 'versus' to attract the trolls and fan boys - particularly one (a versus) between Nintendo and the rest of the world. Personally I don't think it's much of a contest. A Nintendo handheld is a carefully considered thing with software to match, side by side. The Vita is typical of much of Sony's latest attempts, release some 'powerful' hardware to attract the graphic whore, forget the software until its way too late.
You make a fair point. Agreed.
I stand corrected.
Why do 'westerners' keep looking to Famitsu for indication of a game is possibly good - or not as the case may be. Japan is an entirely different culture from our own, so much so it may as well be alien. Completely different tastes, and this includes games. That a game scores well in Famitsu is not an indication it will score (or sell) well outside of Japan, and vice versa. I do have Mario Party under pre-order however so hope it is good...
Ah yes, Amazon Italia, who also had Zelda U down for a Spring release. I would take this with a huge pinch of salt...
Have you played Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Double Dash, Mario Kart Wii and (in particular) Mario Kart 8? Overrated is not a term that applies to any game listed here. Anybody who is playing Mario Kart 8 today would testify, its arguably the best game of last year - and continues to delight.
Fair play. I just think (personally) by doing this you are missing out on Amiibo's features. Besides, plenty Amiibo storage solutions exist.
Good. Hopefully genuine fans can pick them up this time - should they choose, not just scalpers and gollums alike. Now, if only Amiibos were more readily available, you know, for those who want to actually unbox and use them, God forbid.
Another well polished and complete 'next gen' title.
@WeAreLegion
While I agree having to focus on the Gamepad for the majority takes away from the beauty which is taking place on the TV, other than that...
"A $10 3DS title"? Hardly. Another rewarding, rich and polished Wii U title - published by Nintendo, developed by HAL Laboratory. As for "you don't press buttons"...plenty of games (the majority) you do. This is a spiritual sequel to Canvas Curse, and if you ever played that you would...
Push the boundaries on PS4 or XB1 usually equates to a broken game. Concentrate first and foremost on getting the gameplay just right, more adventuring, less monotonous gun fights. Its predecessor was boss, just (for me) too many gun fights. I don't want another Uncharted thank you. I have high hopes the next Tomb Raider instalment will focus on its strengths, be true to itself.
EVERY Nintendo system not on par with the current gen? You sure? Define on par...
The camera in the New 3DS is a game-changer regarding the 3D effect. The camera on the Wii U is in case it is or could be needed, simple. The touch screen is used, it just is - fact.
You are making the same mistake as always, insinuating Nintendo are 'competing' with Sony or Microsoft. Sony and Microsoft are competing, quite clearly. Each console a near replica of each o...
Disagree 100%. You my friend are very, very wet behind the ears if you truly believe that.
Too true. And on Nintendo hardware. Nintendo make the hardware for their games and vice versa. No compromise. Pure, undiluted magic.
Beat me to it. Nintendo dominate the handheld market - and rightly so. The New 3DS is arguably Nintendo's finest handheld to date, and its library of games...rich and varied. Sony just don't understand the market. The Vita? Give me a break. Decent, but not nearly different enough from its home console.
Release this game in Europe already. I live in the U.K. Release date TBC - 2015.
Care to elaborate?
I opted out. These were available yesterday when I was looking - part of the bundle, but I decided no. 3 reasons. I own Xenoblade for the Wii, still. I didn't like it was included ONLY as part of the bundle. Finally, I'm opting out of this trend which seems to exclude the real gamers, buy low sell high - for reasons of vanity. Like the Amiibo craze, yes, I 'want' certain Rare Amiibo, but I will NOT be part of this racket. Time games were placed back in the hands of the real ga...
The cut-scenes however will be - as normal - exhausting, boring, overly long, basically just a pain. The Godfather (movie) it definitely ISN'T. I like the series, but why not like the best videogames cant it interoperate the story/dialogue into the actual gameplay? I know why...Hideo Kojima. Totally self-indulgent.
