Again, if you are going to "rip a new one" on the New 3DS, get some perspective. Aren't in facts these 'cons' more foibles than horrible flaws. You could nitpick even the best hardware - and rightly so, but to focus on the positives, Nintendo appears to be getting a great deal more right than wrong - in my owning both a WiiU and New 3DS's experience. Its fair when people discuss Nintendo flaws, but without actually owning hardware or games...trolls!
@KryptoniteTail
Since you didn't answer my question - do you own a WiiU or New 3DS, I'll take that as a no, you don't. Also, regarding the WiiU being 'just' a "glorified PS3", isn't that EXACTLY what the PS4 is? Hardly a terrible thing - if true. I have no reason to lie for Nintendo, as you put it. In my time I have owned/played a broad spectrum of games/consoles. Fact is, my most treasures memories are games available via Nintendo hardware.....
Do you actually own a WiiU or New 3DS? Hardly pitiful hardware with a poor selection of games, in fact quite the opposite. I own both. Both possess great games - which are plentiful, and strong hardware enough to take advantage of each. I would wager you don't own either yet troll each...weird really.
Actually, no. Good press is where you find it. Both PS4 and XB1 are doing nothing above and beyond. The WiiU is good hardware with a strong library of games. You can lean on sales and third party support all you like, but that doesn't take away from Nintendo and WiiU's strengths - which are plenty.
In regards to Mario HD. Standing on the shoulders of giants. To create a revolutionary and classic such as Mario 64, all the long hours and dedication that must have went i...
50.Sine Mora. Ok - never having played it I wouldn't know. 49.Playstation AllStars Battle Royal. Well, that was all the reason I needed to stop reading. That game can NOT be defined "amazing", let alone good. Least be honest which games are amazing, which are good and which are simply filler. Also, I'm sure plenty will be below average. Face it, Sony don't understand the handheld market. The majority of the best titles on Vita were scaled back PS3 games. With Nintendo an...
Whats not to understand at this stage!? Nintendo and the Wii U offer AAA games unavailable on any other platform, PC included. Dont just take my word for it, research any well respected gaming website and you will find games exclusive to Nintendo hardware well reviewed, the majority deemed 'essential'. It (for me) boils down to taste. Yes, I have owned every PlayStation - up to and including the PS4, and while I have enjoyed many, many games on each, it is with Nintendo hardware I hav...
For me - from what I played, interactive movie...quite an average one at that. I don't mean to sound a 'hater' or a troll, I can just offer my own opinion. If semi-realistic graphics are your thing, easily some of the best I have seen if not thee best. If however you want value for your money, graphix, performance AND gameplay, forget it. Many, many more titles deserving of your money.
100% no. Mark my words. More likely its delayed for polish and refinement and/or 2016 will mark the 30th anniversary of Zelda, shall the trolls conveniently forget.
This is Nintendo, NOT Sony or Microsoft. Hardly a "blunder" since it was never an option. Voice chat (in my experience) is little more than muddled, with the occasional adolescent cursing thrown in for good measure. Here's an idea, ignore everything positive about Splatoon - or indeed ANY Nintendo exclusive, instead focus on the one thing you can unreasonably troll.
Seriously, I don't get it. I own a WiiU and games - those who don't, quit commenting based on hearsay. The WiiU has (at present) a very strong catalogue of AAA games, the majority of which I have barely scratched the surface. The console itself has now gotten a refined OS, after the initial teething.
Also, 2015 looks to be offering at least half a dozen 'must have' games - that's not counting the unannounced, digital and games which fly under the radar. If...
Horrible. Even this many years later, trying to top Nintendo - stand on the shoulders of giants, BAD idea. SM3DW beats this attempt at a HD example of Mario badly.
Fair enough. Next 'debate'...Wii U vs Playstation 4 - when the multi-platforms don't count.
Thank you. Somebody (other than myself) who can see past the trolling and pessimism. Nobody even knows what form the NX will take, what it will do or be. Mark me words - and you can hold me to it...Zelda U will NOT be an NX title, either launch or later released.
That would be fine, but - from reports - the latency and issues in playing on another TV in another room are plentiful. Yes, a good(ish) idea - perhaps, but badly executed by all accounts. Besides, a 'good' price is only a good price if you actually wanted the product previously...
Once people realise its pretty useless - not too long then, trade in 'sales' will see a similar increase.
Thats the million dollar question, isn't it? IF your 'rig' can pull it off. Personally I think mine will struggle. Very mid-range/modest PC. I think I'm better suited to sticking with the PS4 version. Yes, only 30fps, but - from analysis - fairly steady.
The announcement for 'free' PS Plus games has been delayed from the usual Thursday...am I wrong? Besides, dont get your knickers in a twist. I was simply making a light-hearted comment that in 2015 a good few big games have been delayed. No big deal.
2015...the year of the delay.
I think the Wii U has the potential (and the library) to climb this list significantly during its lifespan.
If I knew the latest instalment of the Tomb Raider franchise was going to be exclusive to XB1 - thats what I would have bought, instead of the PS4 which I did instead. Yes, Uncharted was good, U2 very, very good, but U3 felt a bit flat compared to its predecessor, and a bit trite. The Tomb Raider reboot however - which I played on PC some while after initial release - felt to me alive and dynamic, if a bit to many shoot outs. I just hope this the latest in the Tomb Raider franchise is brought...
