Exactly. I didn't say resolution changes aren't noticeable - for the minority. Double the resolution of course is going to show signs of 'improvement'. I simply pointed out (in my opinion) the jump from 30fps to 60fps will be the real difference for GTAV.
Give me a break with this shit! Playing GTAV on PS4, the resolution is sound - you could not be dissatisfied. The main and most important reason I am choosing PC as the definitive version...60fps! This could potentially be a game changer for GTAV, the resolution differences wont affect the core gameplay nearly as much.

Not a remaster, please - regarding Bully. A 'sequel' if you like. Personally I would like to see it launch as a Wii U exclusive. I think - like Bayonetta 2 - it could be another surprise fit. Built from the ground up, Gamepad integration, 60fps.
Install day 1 patch, 'upgrade' HDD, STILL deal with long load times and inconsistent frame rates...just kidding. The PS4 is a 'behemoth' as we know and the only 'next gen' machine on the market, the Wii U appears weedy in comparison, right?
While I think everybody who played No Mercy will agree its the best of the genre - least in recent memory, Fire Pro Wrestling (particularly Returns) deserves a place in the top 5.
Don't get me wrong. I was only using Sony as my example because I own a PS4, having owned a PS3, 2, and 1 in the past. I don't like to comment (troll) on consoles/games I haven't owned/played, unlike the majority.
So, the Wii U, something "which you love" is a total failure...erm, ok. I bought both a PS4 and Wii U at launch, and I can testify, while the PS4 has all the propaganda and sales in its favour, mine has been being used more as a Blu Ray/catch-up player than an actual GAMES machine. Yes, the Wii U is not without 'cons', but its strengths (in my opinion) push it way ahead. Killer exclusives, GAMES, performance and playability.
I'm all up for 'remasters', but (for me) Sony take the piss. I mean, games coming at the end of one gen to be re-released at the beginning of a new gen....preposterous, now matter how 'improved' the re-release turns out to be - usually very minor differences, usually.
It has (barring Zelda U) everything announced for 2015 plus numerous games which will creep up on us and (hopefully) be a massive pleasant surprise....much like both other 'rival' consoles, no? Besides, exactly how much free time do people these days appear to have on their hands!? A game like Mario Kart 8 (for example) just keeps on giving. I'm still enjoying it just as much over 6 months down the line. I know the industry likes to convince us each new release is a 'must have...
As much as the delay pains me, I agree - regarding Miyamoto and "a bad game is bad forever". Nintendo have proven again and again, good things come to those who wait...
I stated "crippling" in quotations because that came exactly from Eurogamer's performance analysis. They are the experts. Also, if games such as Smash, Mario Kart 8, Bayonetta 2 and SM3DW are "simplistic" - the majority running at 60fps, give me simplistic all day long...
Locked being the key word. Besides, 30fps, 60fps, it depends on the game - obviously, but its when self-proclaimed 'next gen' machines prove otherwise, that's what I find priceless. Also, 720p which are pleasing to look at - as you put it...coupled with stable fps. What exactly is terrible about that? All I was trying to say (perhaps poorly) is that the parity between the Wii U and 'rival' consoles isn't quite what some had suggested before the games began arriving.

Completely and utterly agree with you 100%. IF Rockstar (or whoever) were to bring a GTA game to the Wii U - not a bad idea, then it should be built from the ground up to take full advantage of the Wii U, NOT some hackneyed port/

Unlike the majority I actually own both systems, both bought at launch. I wonder how many who "diss" Nintendo own or have owned a Wii, Wii U or 3DS...honestly.
That's just my point. 720p, 1080p, 30fps, 60fps, the differences are minimal - only when placed under a microscope in a lab do differences appear. It boils down (at the end of the day) to the quality and experience of the games. Perhaps PS4 has a huge library of games on paper, doesn't mean all of the are good, even the majority. I'm very, very picky with what games I buy, and at present my WiiU library amounts to (roughly) 15 games, for my PS4 I have 2 games.
Priceless. I just love how the tables turn regarding the Wii U and 'rival' next gen machines when stories like this come to light. Now its graphics DON'T matter, its gameplay and fun which count. Besides, the WiiU running is games in HD (720/1080p) and at 30/60fps...I am struggling to find examples of either PS4 or XB1 doing more.
Agreed. I like any effort such as this to take games out of the hands of the scalpers, the gollums, and back into the hands of the gamers. Metroid Trilogy just being another great example.
