Well, I've owned a PS1, 2 and 3, enjoyed each. Buying a PS4 seemed the natural progression. Anyhow, besides being a good multi-media machine I've not enjoyed many games for it - thus far. I'll likely buy Fifa16 and I'm sure other games in future for it, but for me, the entire Sony experience is starting to feel trite. Nothing personal.
I'm with you 100%. Honestly, if it werent for Nintendo this gen - and previous gens for that matter, I probably would have given up long before now. Cant wait for Mario Maker...
It's a matter of principal's - ever heard of them?
None of the previous MGS's are necessary. Play Ground Zeroes if you choose, but this (Phantom Pain) will be like all other MGS's, a stand alone game unconcerned with previous incarnations. EPIC looking game, but DON'T support Konami by buying it.
Although I agree most of the game listed do have 'amazing graphics', coming from ps4home.com, its hardly going to be THAT objective. Next up, games which have 'amazing graphics' AND run at a steady 60fps...
Bayonetta is a made up unrealistically proportioned female created for some pre-pubecents wet dream, a sham. Ronda is very real.
This I don't understand. Yes, the Wii had its fair share of bad games, as did PS3 and 360 lest we forget. Why focus on that side of the fence however? I wont list them all as it would takeam age, but i had roughly 40-50 Wii games (retail) and absolutely none of them 'filler'/ a lot of which were some of the best games i played that gen across the board.
I've owned every major Nintendo console since the SNES, neither has been a 'mistake', sorry. Your idea (I think) is to have the NX near indistinguishable from both Sony and Microsoft consoles, both in terms of hardware and games...nightmare! Ever consider Nintendo is a breath of fresh air to many?
Use 'better' hardware, use 'better' hardware, use 'better' hardware, blah, blah, blah! Pish posh. The Wii - compared with both PS3 and 360 - was way below in processing and megahertz, didn't stop it being a massive success and capturing the imagination. Besides, if the most cutting edge tech was key, most would not own a PS4 or XB1 but a high end PC. It's about brand loyalty - stupidity.
The WiiU has at its disposal a wealth of great games, man...
Yes, tussle, but ultimately get owned. Ronda Rousey is an incredible warrior and athlete. Any argument "she hasn't faced anyone that can take her toe to toe for very long" is hocus. Every fighter faces this accusation at some point in their career if they keep winning. Champion.
Not true - and don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of the COD series. I remember COD4:MW both looking AND running 'next gen' at launch. Don't know about the games which came after, I lost interest fast. Also, most first party Nintendo games on the WiiU balance both lush visuals and a flawless 60fps. Really, this whole Halo 5 thing is bluff.
Haven't COD games been running at a solid 60fps for years now?
Rubbish! Could not disagree more. Games of old had experimentation, creativity and ideas of which the majority of games these days can't touch. Even the 'indie'.scene has moved quickly into the commercial. Yes, staple franchises may feel more polished and playable today, but each lack that wow factor of old.
Great games, great collection, BUT (for me), so much chewed meat. Don't get me wrong, I would snap up this collection if it were available for either WiiU or PC, but at the same time I can't help but feel reality would squish my fond memories. Some things are best left as treasured memories.
SM3DW, Smash, MK8, Tropical Freeze, 101, Bayonetta 2, etc, etc, etc. I don't feel Nintendo are neglecting me via my WiiU.
@xMercenery_
An incomplete game? Yes, Sony would never release a game in this state...
Cheers. I'm trying, but its weird...hating/disagreeing on me simply for liking the look of a couple of recent releases.
Problem? I really, really enjoyed Tomb Raider, more than I did Uncharted 3. Also Rare Replay has close to 5 of my favourite all time games.
Why doubt it? I own a PS4, as I did a PS3, 2 and 1...what's the problem?
That's it. What with this and Rare Replay I'm - in all likelihood - trading my PS4 towards a XB1 when this (Tomb Raider 2015) drops.
High prices because each first party IP is polished to perfection, each also hold their value - in my experience. Also, I don't understand, why is the WiiU "quite terrible"? I've not had any problems with mine, games running at HD and at 60fps. Both PS4 and XB1 aren't doing better to my knowledge...
