This 'fail' bollocks must end. Shenmue was considered a 'fail', as was Okami. Thing is, neither were.

I don't understand. You have both PS4 and XB1 to appeal to the self-proclaimed 'gamers', but you want the exact same games coming from Nintendo itself!? I bought both PS4 and WiiU this gen. It is the WiiU I have amased more time playing and built up a far more entertaining and larger collection of titles. The day Nintendo starts listening to 'fans' such as yourself is the day I tune out.

It baffles me. Why do all the Nintendo trolls focus so much energy on...

It's not shocking - unless you are a suit. From an owner's/gamers perspective, a success. When did this become a numbers game? You can mark my words...Microsoft will exit the dedicated videogames industry before Nintendo.

Agreed. Also, I guarantee 99.9% of the moaners have a backlog of games as long as their arm. Yes, everybody want the newest toy asap, but if anything a delay should give us a breather and allow us to take stock of the many, many games we've accumulated. Gutted about the delay, but, be it Steam, WiiU or PS4 games in which I've barely scratched the surface, I'll get along fine.

I absolutely guarantee it won't. I'll even eat my hat if Zelda ends up being released on both platforms simultaneously like Twilight Princess was.

No, no, no. Mario Maker (thus far) had been epic. Seriously, its like all my childhood dreams come true. BUT. Nintendo still make the best levels - by far. A Zelda/Metroid Maker will NEVER be as good as an original Zelda/Metroid title. Sure, the option might be appealing to some, but a console suddenly with Maker after Maker title. That is NOT Nintendo. Nintendo gives us a perfectly brilliant and innovative idea then puts it to bed. Thats why I love Nintendo. Next NEW idea please...

On one hand, that will allow me to properly appreciate the backlog of games I have acquired, on the other hand...gutted! Yes, I'm sure the extra time afforded said game will offer its rewards, but I'll admit it, this is a big loss for the Wii U leading up to Christmas.

Glad to be back. I would be lying if I said the lack of licences across the board didn't niggle me, particularly after becoming used to Fifa in my hiatus, but I'm sure I'll survive. Besides, I'm big into Italian football and (to my knowledge) that is well catered. Anyhow, its the GAMEPLAY which has brought me back...

I'm also convinced. I was a PES stalwart since its original conception, owning as I did many of its incarnations across various different platforms, SNES, PS, 2, 3, Gamecube, N64, etc, etc. However, upon its decline and the release of Fifa 09 I decided to convert. I have been with Fifa since that day, giving PES the odd hopeful glance but ultimately disappointed by what I saw. Things change. I've decided to pick up PES 2016 tomorrow. I have seen/heard enough good things and after play...

Well deserved. I own both MGSV and MM. After playing roughly 45 mins to 1 hour with MGSV - early impressions are mostly very positive, it is MM I continue to keep going back to while MGSV will have to wait. Both very, very different games, both great. I have PES 2016 due at the end of the week. I think I may need to quit my job...

Who are you trying to kid, yourself? Nintendo popularised and were the first to bring the ease and notion of interchangeable faceplates to the masses. That Sony had some available somewhere on a Japanese website does not warrant doing it first. It's no big deal, simply (like PS Move) I wish Sony (and Microsoft) would less blatantly copy Nintendo's efforts.

3852d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Yes, that's the definition of copying. It's hardly a crime, but then its not exactly innovative or original at the same time.

3852d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Sorry, these interchangeable faceplates have been available for the PS4 (or 3) before Nintendo introduced them with the New 3DS? Proof please...

3852d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

Even IF Nintendo had included the full games of SMB, 3, SMW and SMBU, someone somewhere would have said SMB2 should have been included. Priceless, these trolls.

3853d ago 6 agree2 disagreeView comment

Far, far from it. But interchangeable faceplates, I think you could even admit Nintendo has (just recently) popularised it.

Now, back to those great Move games...

Always bet on Sony to blatantly steal off Nintendo. This being another example. Brazen.

I'm currently experimenting and playing through Mario Maker. The very last thing on my mind is rip-off. A 6 monthly instalment of a popular franchise could be considered a rip-off. A game of this magnitude, in which you can after years and years of wanting finally build and play all types of Mario game...EPIC.

This Nintendo trolling must stop.

This comment sums up EXACTLY what is wrong with the industry. If both the Dreamcast and Wii U were 'flops', what counts for success, sales? I always have and always will judge a console/games on not how much it costs on the shelves, or how much it has sold globally, no, I have a rather novel approach...PLAYING the damn thing. Both the Dreamcast and Wii U were a success because each played brilliantly and offered a selection of games which kept the industry fresh and innovative.

Some people REALLY need to revisit a PS2 game, or even PS3 for that matter. Then come back to me a - after actually PLAYING Star Fox - tell me that the differences are minimal. This new Star Fox looks solid and runs at a buttery smooth framerate.
