Ok. Lets for argument sake WW is a "reskinned SM game with yarn"...that Nintendo leaning on Nintendo. Its when 'rival' developers lend SO heavily on Nintendo it is in fact embarrassing. PS Move was frankly (for me) worst hardware EVER.

Some games (not all) borrow from others, some however borrow HEAVILY on others - this game doing the latter. Another example being PS All Stars - or whatever the hell it was called. Plagiarism!

The DK franchise has offered some truly exceptional games since its inception, up to and specifically including Tropical Freeze. I'd be worried if TF were anything less than stellar - luckily it was exactly that, stellar. Jungle Beat (inc Bongos) a personal favourite. I would however like next to see a spiritual successor to DK64 - a game I enjoyed in parts but frustrated me equally. Time to make promise on what DK64 could (perhaps should) have been...

I'm sorry, but no. 95 out of 100 - for a game which 'borrows' so heavily on Nintendo's Yarn and/or Woolly World games - minus any of the design, charm and polish...just NO.

1080p sounds good on paper - if if 60fps is (for me) preferable - should a choice need to be made, but that is besides the point...

SM3DW, MK8, Tropical Freeze, Bayonetta 2, etc, etc, etc. I could list game after game after game available on the Wii U which looks and runs incredible. Dont get bogged down in the numbers game...

Wrong. I want them to succeed, NOT at the expense of becoming lost in the crowd however. Also, what "past" is this in which Nintendo 'failed'? The Wii was the star of the previous gen, oh, but it didnt appeal to the self-proclaimed 'hardcore'...GOOD. Nintendo is best when standing out from the crowd, and besides, you want 3rd party - Sony, Microsoft. The option is available.

Honestly - and I say this as a LONG time Nintendo fan and supporter - I hope for cartridges being brought back, keep a distance from a 'spec war', NO online capabilities and a focus on GAMES. Ok, the no online capabilities part may have been stretching it to emphasise my point...I want Nintendo to keep distancing themselves from what either Sony and/or Microsoft offer. Stay Nintendo, basically.

FIRST 10 out of 10!? While I own Bloodbourne it is not my cup of tea - although I appreciate to MANY it is GOTY(2015). However, to bestow it this accolade while others such as (for example) SMG2 'fall short' leaves a VERY bitter taste in the mouth. Sorry, but this is NOT the way to end...

Similar to the Shenmue 3 kickstarter, this is hopeless and unearthing nostalgia (usually) only ends in tears. Don't get me wrong, I LOVED me some Dreamcast and supported it from day 1 to the bitter end, BUT, I feel its best left a great memory than trying to relive it.

Truly. This and its sequel (SMG2) remain 2 of the finest games of all time, if not thee best. These are games which will - unlike MANY in 'best of' lists - continue to be enjoyed and appreciated generation after generation. Nintendo on song are incomparable and make even the most dedicated 'rival' developer look amateur.

I'd like to have the same 'problems'...

Nintendo OWNS the dedicated handheld market. Amiibos are THEE hit of this gen. Sure, the Wii U isn't selling Wii numbers, but it will - if it hasn't already - break even. I can speak from first-hand experience, unlike many. I picked up a Wii U at launch and (to date) its offered some truly mind blowing games in that only Nintendo can do style.

Nintendo needs to keep forging its own path, via experime...

So true. It's like people this this one game is an example of keeping game sizes to a minimum on current-gen console's. First, Nintendo has been keeping file sizes low for gen after gen. Second, said game is a bad example - its releasing bare bones - upcoming DLC and patches will really bloat it out.

Remember, this is PS4 and SFV combined...

After patches and DLC start arriving - SOON. This looks to be a game made exclusively to fleece us of money, releasing content which should have been available day 1. Expect the final size of said game to be something near the the 20g mark, easy!

@jb227

Troll alert! The games you mention released in 2016 already via PS4...I'm sorry, but I HIGHLY doubt you have played all 3 - even if you possibly have, neither has had anything but borderline reviews. Yes, SFV is a catch, BUT...I have SFIV Ultra on my VERY modest sub £300 PC and it runs buttery smooth. I think I'll cope for now.

Don't be surprised when the PS5 does arrive we will hear this same propaganda regarding the PS6. Here's an idea Sony - instead of delivering in future and/or in high sales, try delivering where it counts - on TV screens right now!

I could not be less excited for Uncharted 4.

I dont know about "hurt"...

Yes, PES 2016 for the Wii U would have been a catch, but with SM3DW, Bayonetta 2, Smash, Pikmin 3, DK:TF, MK8, Slatoon, Mario Maker, X, Yoshi's Woolly Word, etc, etc, etc...not having them available...

THAT would REALLY hurt.

So true. Take the Wii U for example - and MANY do. SM3DW, MK8, Smash, DK:TF, Pikmin 3, Bayonetta 2, etc, etc. A lot of games the pinnacle of their series, but is the focus on this? NO. Instead its, but this, but that, but whatever. Seriously, enjoy said console for what it is, not what it is not.

Graphics AND gameplay, which is good, because played today - both Wii U AND 3DS offers both in abundance. It's like people are more interested in how a game looks in a lab under heavy analysis AND only if said game strives for semi-realistic graphics. Personally - and thank God everybody is different, I have always sided with Nintendo's art style.
