As long as Nintendo keep with a dozen or so 'must play' games housed exclusively on said system I will continue to be a fan. Yes, of course I want a system which can offer the best of these games, but since the Wii U is constantly trolled as 'underpowered' all in the meantime I'm blown away by what I am seeing/playing, I don't see the problem.
OR, if it had been on the Wii U everybody would be saying a handful of great exclusives just isn't enough AND trolling it for not being 60fps. Fact.
First, looks great, truly. I have it preordered and can't wait for it to arrive and have some spare time put aside to give it a fair crack of the whip. However...
People scoring disagrees for commenting it would have been better had 60fps been implemented is ridiculous - fan boys at their very, very worst. Of course 60fps would have improved this game. Also, the 'difference' between PS2, 3 and 4 games...I should hope as much.
I'd say this R&C were 'essential' if it were a full-fat experience, rather than the more streamlined title as it appears. Still highly recommend. As far as U4 goes, while I disliked U1, highly enjoyed U2 and was mildly entertained by U3, I have grown tired and will in all likelihood pass on U4 - probably.
Looks solid, a visual delight - if some way short of essential. I'll definitely be picking it up day 1 however, it feels an age since A Crack in Time, in my opinion the last and possibly best R&C in the series thus far. Still, this AND Star Fox Zero due on the same day in the UK...busy week!
Nice/interesting, but I still prefer my 'regular' New 3DS either Xenoblade Chronicles, wood effect OR Zelda faceplates.
Total Film (UK) - I had a quick browse yesterday - 2 stars out of 5.
Shame really, because early reviews of said movie have been particularly unfavourable.
'Ive probably beaten more LOZ games than you'...*cringe". Please, lets try and erase you ever said that, f**king child. First, you may have - I doubt it - but you may have. That perhaps proves little more than you have more time on your hands than me. Anyhow, this isn't and never was a 'ive completed/played more games than you' kiddie party.
Also, nice to see you admitting 2 readily acknowledged crap games as being just that, CRAP. Now, do you want a ...
WTF!? You've made a new Zelda game - fusing TP and SS as you have. Weird. Interesting, but weird. Perhaps if you had a soul you would look past half a dozen bullet points and see the game as a whole. Epic, innovative AND moreish.
Beat a game THREE times and still complain its riddled with faults!? Even better.
Keep digging that hold sonny boy...
@Ark_
About to say the same thing exactly. Contradicting views much> LOL.
OR to be read as 'I fear change'.
Hardly irked. This is the one PS4 exclusive in a long while I'm genuinely interested in getting my hands on. A Crack in Time remains one of my favourite PS3 games - a true unappreciated gem.
The next Zelda game (IMO) should have definitely built upon Skyward Swords Motion Plus mechanic. Screw the naysayers - many of which I'd wager didn't play the bloody thing - it was as much a shot in the arm akin to Resi Evil 4 for that particular franchise.
Here is why other 'rival' developers have pretty much abandoned the 2D/3D platformer...Nintendo have it sewn.
Looks/sounds positive, except...FFS, can the PS4 run ANY game sans slowdown? A relatively 'simple' game such as this should surely be exempt. Still, looking forward to April 21st.
@mocaak is correct, if 'fanboy' merely means being a fan of said developer - surely no crime? Also, unlike many Sony fanboys loving on said unreleased game, I can practically guarantee I've played (and enjoyed) more R&C's than most - A Crack in Time being (for me) the last truly great entry.
Err, no, least not based on numerous well respected videogame review publications.
This is definitely a case of production values masking a rather dated and trite game. Very 'next gen'. Spend less than half the price buying Rare Replay IMO - if you haven't already.
