Not me. I am a console gamer only so I am fine with MS and Sony giving us more powerful consoles to play our games on.
From what I see, Sony is doing the same as MS
A disaster? Really? It is clear Sony plans to unveil the Neo later this year. Sony is running away with this gen, so really there is nothing they can do to derail that.
I wish they would release single player content
Simple answer is no. The slim replaces the orig X1, the Scorpio comes out at the end of 2017, which will have given us 4 years with the X1. The Scorpio is not going to be for everyone, so those enjoying their X1s and S model can continue that, and those who want to upgrade to the Scorpio, can do that. If you say the Scorpio killed the S then the Neo killed the orig PS4. Right....Right...
They lost me back when they released the Wii, and I certainly did not like the Wiiu, so my expectations are low for the NX.
Let me get this straight. Sony has yet to announce a reveal for the Neo, but it has been confirmed and we know it is coming, possibly in 2016. The gaming media seems happy.
MS announces the Scorpio is coming at the end of 2017 and plays all X1 games, all accessories work, and any X360 back compat games work, and is a massive 6 teraflops, devs can use it as they see fit, that says to me it can be used to improve framerates, resolution, A I, as all we have heard the last 3...
Should I buy one? My Day One model has worked flawlessly, and I am fine with the original size. I will get one of the new cool looking colorful controllers, though.
I don't think MS shot themselves in the foot at all. Fans seem excited from what MS showed.
Where MS is is one of the most successful cash rich companies out there. As far as exclusives, I have been playin more X1 exclusives than I have PS. I just play the games, what kind of company MS or Sony is is not a concern to me. If the X1 hasn't worked for you, then dump it. I got the PS4 for Uncharted TLOU and Killzone. That is all I play on it.
Awesome. I love the idea. Awesome for console gamers like myself who don't care much for PC gaming. MS came out on the offensive. Job well done.
PC market may be okay, but everything I have has stated those PC consoles have not sold well at all.
I don't think they would put a 4K drive in it. It will probably just upscale to 4K
I am fine with size of my Day One launch model. There is a reason MS made it the size they did.
Whisper quiet, no overheating, I am fine with the X1. There must be more info as you don't get to be as successful as MS, making blunders like this.
Will wait to see what they confirm on Monday.
The only way I see $449, is it comes with the Elite controller, why they are pushing bigger drives when we can also just plug in whatever ...
There is no way MS is selling the slim for $449 at the current hardware power level .
There has to be more here that has not been revealed. I will buy it when they confirm it. It must have the Elite controller, 4K upscale which you don't need a new drive to do, and if so they must be planning a regular slim sku and the $449 model.
Kind of surprised they are pushing for higher drives which has to raise the cost when many of us are already using 4 Plus...
The only one I am buying is RE4. I have been waiting for an hd port since the Gamecube, and poor port Capcom did on last gen was sad
Because we all bought the digital copy. Can't even remember the last game I bought retail
Console only gamer here, sounds fine to me. I will play whatever res, FPS game they make.
If the console is not coming out until 2017, well, why mention it all at this year's E3.
I am fine with my Day 1 Xbox 1 so no reason to get the S, and I don't play my PS4 enough to justify getting the Neo, as I have zero interest in VR, but I am looking forward to the Scorpio.
