I agree with everrhing accept, if I could only have one I would go with the One, but I enjoy both consoles. The fanboy nonsense I just can't get with. At the end of the day these are videogames, not that big of deal in the grand scheme, given what is going on in the world, but I enjoy playing.
I own all 3 and agree 100%.
Graphic power is always exaggerated. The consoles have always had one console with better hardware, but most cases the console with the weaker specs won. Games are what are going to determine the success of these consoles, I own both so I plan to enjoy the best of both consoles.
I bought the One before I got my PS4, cause it had more games I wanted to play at launch. I like the PS4, but also like the One, and play the One more and love the apps, and its os in comparison to Sonys. To say it is stupid for a consumer which may have different tastes needs wants than u to pick the One is mere hyperbole.
Is this a blog? I tune in for the latest console videogame news, and many of the topics are doom and gloom opinion pieces. Calling the X1 a failure is going overboard. MS has corrected their mistakes and the One should be fine. They might not do PS4 numbers but they should be fine.
I wasn't even talking about the Xbox. All I was saying was MS as a company is doing ok, and certainly doing much better than Sony as a company. Nothing else for me to say about it...
Agreed
Games for Windows wasn't very good, but MS is one of the most successful companies out with Billions in cash reserves, so it seems lauphable when someone says this company can't multitask. More internet hyperbole...
The consoles just came out. Jeez, all I expected was better than previous gen, so if your expectations were out of whack either adjust them or switch to the pc. The consoles are what they are and I am fine with that.
There is pole licking on both sides My point was not to emphasize the Sony pole licking but the Sony fans have been hilarious this gen with the res stuff, that is all I was trying to say. I find it hilarious when gamers wave their console flags like they work for Nintendo, Sony, or MS. I enjoy what each console brings to the table which is why I own all three, and don't have to tear down one in favor of the other like many gamers do
Most of us own both consoles and don't care. Just make good games is all I care about. The consoles are what they are
What is this͵ we should not accept this stuff? I don't make games so it isn't up to me. Devs get the best performance as they can is what I believe. It is not a matter of what we accept when it comes to console games. I game on 32" 1080p set, and 792p 900p upscaled looks just as good as 1080p native as my eyes can tell. This whole resolution emphasis this gen I really don't care about. Just make good games that look good and I am fine with that.
Calling this MS's kiss of death is just hyperbole, and HD Dvd failing, how was that MS fault?
Accepting TF for what it is, I really enjoy the game. Seems many got their expectations way out of whack. The game was advertised as it is as far as I am concerned. These online only games longevity depends solely on the community playing them and the devs has to release new fresh content or the community dries up.
I got both consoles at launch, & actually enjoy the Kinect, so for some to say those early X1 adopter got f'd, might be going overboard and pure hyperbole. I figured Kinect was going to be unbundled when I bought, as I saw that the only way for MS to get the price level with Sony & I actually play my X1 and prefer it os, online setup, to the PS4, so go figure, plus $100 wasn't a big deal to me in the first place. Videogamers argue over some of the most ridiculous things. I ...
I agree, most of us just want good games, and good gaming experiences. All that can be achieved on the Wiiu X1 and PS4 of which I own all of them, and plan to enjoy what each brings to the table. This fanboy arguing my processor penis is bigger than yours I just cant get with, although, it is entertaining to see the back and forths
Slowly killing might be going overboard. Both consoles are as capable as any of the consoles we have seen in previous gens so I expect devs to get the best performance out of each. Way too much is made about graphics. This gen just started.
Xbox One just came out so of course it doesn't have the catalog to offer compared to the 360, and to compare it to steam is moot unless you can buy Xbox games on steam.
I have both the PS4 and One, and the difference is really not that big of deal. I just want devs to get the Best performance out of each platform
40years old, I have both but use the One more.
