EA is definitely not the worst in my book as I like many of their franchises.

I get PCs are superior to consoles, but I am fine with my gaming on consoles. They are good enough as my tastes go.
I think many of us was finally hoping for a standalone Nintendo console that would rival the Scorpio, Neo, spec wise and would play our favorite Nintendo franchises. I have zero interest in a handheld or hybrid, but I wish Nintendo well.
The game played fine on the 360, my issue was the image quality. They should have cleaned up the jaggies, PS2 textures, lighting. Both PS3/x360 versions suffered from that.
They did a poor job porting to the the PS3 X360, it appears with the X1 PS4 versions they cleaned up the jaggies, textures, lighting, so I preordered.
I am fine with the consoles, so PC is no savior for this gamer.
Simply put, because MS and Sony says so. If you don't think it is worth it, don't pay it. When my PS subscription runs out in 17 I many not renew. I don't play PS4 at all online, and the free games I don't play as if a game is good I buy it the day it comes out.

From what I have seen, the 1st person Silent Hill style game, me not interested in. Will get RE4 HD on 8/30 and call it a day. Prefer 3rd person RE. Fine with the old games.

Not condoning anything but Sony is in business to generate profits. To be fair I have paid no more than $38/year for Live for the last 13 years, and my PSN doesn't expire until 2k17, so hopefully I will find a $40 or less card like I always have.

MS needed to make the X1 smaller, but, Sony, this baffles me as the PS4 is already slim. I don't play my PS4 enough to justify buying another but one good reason for Sony to release a slim may be to reduce manufacturing costs, also, may use less power. Any word on the specs?
No, I have little interest in a handheld hybrid. This seems silly not knowing anything definite on the console at this point.
I agree. I have seen devs now trying to compare the colorful games of the Wiiu to the performances of games on the PS4 and X1 and it is kind of funny, because they were the first ones who jumped off the Wiiu because of lack of power and other.
I love the first 3 games. Don't like the ones after that. I was hoping they would return the series to the originals. Sucks..

I am shaking my head at the slim PS4. It was not needed, as the PS4 orig is fine, and looks horrible. MS needed to get the X1 smaller, and what they added, I gladly bought the S1, but Sony, why, and it appears they removed features like optical, which I use from PS4 slim, so this was clearly just to reduce manufacturing cost, nothing more. I will stick with the original.
