MS needs to also release an XO1.5, or the are going to left even farther behind Sony, and Nintendo NX console.

If Sony releases the Neo, with the NX on the horizon, MS has no choice but to release a beefier xbox One. Reality tells me that.
The only way I would buy one day one would be if my current PS4 died. I am not interested in VR, not buying a 4K tv, fine with the current PS4, the games look fine by my eyes, so I don't plan on buying a PS4K . Unless something comes along that warrants an upgrade, I will revisit the situation at that time.
Everyone is saying the 4K exists, so I assume it does. Why is Sony doing this? Well, when you virtually have no comp you can take more risks. Lets be honest, where are PS fans going to go? The answer, nowhere and Sony knows it. Be careful of what you wish for. You put Sony squarely on top and they know it.
I don't think it does ask to much. Those who want to buy can, and those who don't well, don't buy. Simple as that ...
But many are saying the Neo will not be ready in 2016, given kits are going out soon.
It should stay on whatever platform MS says it should be on. I am playing it on X1, whatever platforms, Windows PC, etc, it may go to after that I am not concerned with.
I think it will be the PS4, with UHD video playback. Maybe have an enhanced GPU for VR integration or better performance, maybe game upscale. This makes the most sense to me.
Not really shocking I thought. You did not have to shoot anyone, and I never forget that I am playing a video game which in itself is make believe.

Gears was my favorite series last gen. Still playing the games BC on X1, so I am excited as hell. MS should have remastered all the Gears games considering the great job the Coalition did on the Gears remaster.
I will wait for them to confirm, cause what we have seen the last two gens says otherwise, I believe if Nintendo at minimum, console is equal to or better than PS4, and they have a decent online structure, no gimmicks, the console should do well getting 3rd party support.

PS4k is happening. Might as well get on board. When you put Sony on top of the console mountain with little competition, few to answer to this is how it goes, as they can do as they please, or so they think,with little consequence. That aside, the 4k makes sense to me given Sonys business model, and they clearly don't care what u think.

Great games never get old to me. I am still playing my favorites that go back to Neo Geo, Super Nes days. Being able to pop in my 360 games in the X1 and continuing exactly where I left off is fantastic to me.
This can't be a surprise to anyone...
