It is clear going forward the X1 S replaces the orig fat model. Great move by MS, redesign the system, 40% smaller, power brick inside, 4K, manufacturing cost has to be lower, seems like common sense, the orig is being replaced by the S. Last I checked the S is an X1. I wonder how much less power consumption the console uses compared to the original. A $249 Xbox One should clearly tell anyone that the orig fat is being phased out in favor of the S going forward.
I am fine with the gamble. MS as a company doesn't depend on the Xbox brand no matter what happens, but I give them credit as they gave been working overtime since the X1 launch.
The S replaces the original X1 model, which is why MS is trying to blow them out now for $249, so going forward it will be the S until the Scorpio comes out which if history holds will come out in November of 2017.

I don't as the X1 version is good enough for me, but if you don't have an X1 or PC I say get it for PS4, as I like the game much more than I do Uncharted 4 and definitely will be one of the best PS4 games.
Really cool but I have no interest in replaying Nes games, although I love my Turbo Grafx 16, Super Nes, Genesis, Neo Geo consoles.

I thought the Wiiu was dead. Why compare the Nes which cost a fraction of what the PS4, X1 cost. No reason for me to buy that.

MS has completely turned things around. The X1 is my favorite console this gen. I am playing more exclusives on the X1 than my PS4, I buy all multiplats on it so they might as well be exclusive. BC is free, no hassle. I love the preview program and the monthly updates, apps, live tv, OS, UI. MS has worked harder than the other two this gen, and I am fine with X1 and looking forward to Scorpio.
I just play the games, and I don't woulda, coulda, shoulda like many gamers. There is not poin to that, as things are as they are. Devs make the games they want to make, and between the PS4 & X1, I got too many games to play so I am happy. I have owned this game since day one, but really did not like it compared to previous NFS games. Apparantly, many didn't either since there are not many playing the game.
I am fine with MS's plan as I have 0 interest in VR, besides, Oculus and Vive are supposed to work with the Scorpio, so I think MS has their bases covered. Haters going to hate no matter what.
Most of us already got PS4s, based on what I have seen on the game, I would not buy a PS4 for it.
People keep talking about exclusives, but as far as my tastes go MS is doing well, they have turned around the ship, and since I buy all multiplats on the X1, 3rd party games might as well be exclusive.
I like many different games which is why I also own a Wiiu, as I like some of the Nintendo franchises, but between all three console makers, I prefer the OS, updates, Live, UI, and overall setup as the X1.

If they cleanup the visuals, I am buying, as the 360 port they put no effort into.
I have the digital and physical copy. Played it earlier on the X1 when it was accidently released and it played very well.
People keep saying Sony was about showing games at E3. Lets be real many of those games aren't coming anytime soon. Currently playing Uncharted 4, looking forward to another GOW and the game by the Killzone devs, not much else I saw.

I really don't want a console/handheld hybrid, especially one which may be a little better than the Wiiu, as Nintendo lost me after the Gamecube but I will keep an open mind about the NX. If not then I am fine with the Playstation and Xbox.
